• Maira (10/5): - I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Palauet Royal Suites, and I must say, it truly lives up to its name. From the moment I arrived, I felt like royalty! The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly, making sure every need was met with a smile. The rooms were absolutely stunning—spacious, impeccably clean, and designed with luxury in mind. The attention to detail was evident throughout the entire property. The best part? It's also incredibly family-friendly, making it the perfect place for a getaway with loved ones. I had a fantastic time, and I’ll definitely be returning. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a top-tier experience.
• Adam (3/5): Regrettable. Toilets and showers are in the bedrooms. There are no actual facilities at the building - location was good. Housekeeping were good. No facilities on site. No staff on site, as is all operated remotely. A very old building with a train subway beneath it, and the building shakes whenever a train runs underneath it. Both the bedrooms have bathrooms built into them, with no privacy for people using the bathrooms / bedrooms. There are just odd partitions that sort of separate the bed from the shower and toilet. No ventilation between the toilet and nearby bed. This was totally unsuitable for our needs, and misleading in the booking room details. These are not "private" bathrooms. The staff argued with us when we raised this. The landmark view advertised from the room was rubbish - the photo of the window is charming, but outside there is a tall commercial office building and a laneway.

Only thing we didn’t like…the bathrooms in the suites are not entirely private. If someone is in the dining area, they can see someone while they are showering…too many mirrors

We were in contact with them via WhatsApp, which made communication quite smooth and quick. The apartment was quite noisy - all the noise from the street could be heard during the night and the building was shaking whenever the subway passed by. There was a party in one of the apartments during one of the nights - we practically could not sleep half the night.

• Ramin (10/5): Really cool experience - Really cool experience. Very unique place. This was certainly an expensive apartment building that was build about 100 years ago. And now the hotel took over and made each apartment a modern suite. We had a front facing two bedroom with small kitchen and large dinning room. The place has a beautiful roof top And we purchased the breakfast which came as room service. The one negative is that we stayed during a very hot time, the Ac is rather weak only went down to 16. The service was amazing, anything we wanted was attended to.

• Shelly (10/5): El Palauet is a hidden gem with beautiful, spacious rooms, an amazing staff and great location. - This is the coolest place. The property is beautiful with wood, marble and stain glass. The service is impeccable. We had a kitchen, living room, two bedrooms and dining room. The staff is quick and accommodating-even offered to steam our clothes when we asked for a steamer. There is charging availably right by the bed you just need a converter. It is the most spacious room and like an apartment. There is a great restaurant across the street, market, gelato, shopping and pharmacy all within less than a 5 minute walk. They do have room service at the hotel too. You order breakfast the day before and they set it up in the room for you at a time you request . We used the concierges and they were all super helpful. They also got us a car for the airport and train station that we paid for but it was reasonably priced and convenient. It’s a gorgeous property. We go back for sure! It was an amazing place and we will return! It would be nice to have more menu options but there is a market so close by and a restaurant right across the street too. The staff is amazing here! Liked everything about the property. It’s safe and secure too.

The open layout bathroom is a terrible idea. Who wants to hear their partner go to toilet? Whoever designed it should be made to live in it. I understand they wanted to keep the place visually more spacious, but their solution was worse than the problem. The lights switches are uber-modern and thus just don't work as expected. It would be easier if they simply allowed to turn on the lights I want to turn on.

Staff where not abro to fix A/C did not work even after telling several times that room was very hot staff where not able to fix (Seems it is one for all building not individual Units ) After trying several (more than 25 times ) impossible to reach by phone to reception desk had always to go down and speak face to face Noise when metro passes by vibrations are felt throughout property Nobody contacted after all this complaints
• Hsiehchih (10/5): Perfect residence for exploration in Barcelona - The location is perfect, central of everything; hospitality staffs, good in housekeeping, amazing building & well maintenance since 1906 Need to take care of maintenance of the room; and the tremor of subway, you could feel the building tremor when trains pass through in the first couple days, but you’ll get used to it after longer stay 😂

No calls were ever answered, we had to carry our luggage down the stairs ourselves for checkout since no one answered or was available to help us. The bed was SO uncomfortable, the right side was SO squeaky and the sheets were rough and had a hole!! The sheets also smelled very unfresh. Sleep was horrible. Shocking for the grandness of the property and the room, all those details truly ruined the stay! And there were socks hanging on our balcony when we arrived!!!!!! As if from the previous guest, hanging out to dry!

These are the shortcomings we see.

When we arrived, the garbage from previous people was still there and the bath was stil dirty. Poached eggs were 2 days over cooked, And bacon burnd, “This chef sells 3 course menus for €260pp, but can’t keep any quality or consistentcy from his kitchen. -first day we took 2 intercontinental breakfast And 2 poached egg breakfasts (There was no coffee served, and little amount of fruits, lots off orange juice) -2e day we took 1 intercontinental breakfast, 1 English breakfast, 1 poached egg breakfast and 1 yoghurt breakfast. • Turki (10/5): Amazing 🤩 - Location, staff were so friendly and welcoming. The suites were so spacious and spectacular. I have faced a small issue with the card. It was not allowing me to enter from the outdoor to the hotel. The safe was not working as well. So the maintenance needed more work. Other than that it was great 👍

The staff were also very helpful throughout In order to control the AC you needed the front desk to do it for some reason.

• Jennifer (10/5): Great Royal Apartment to Stay In - This is an amazing 1905 modern style apartment palace. We stayed in the two bed, two bath with a kitchen family room and living room overlooking mount tibidabo. The building is a historical marvel and one does feel like they are royalty going back in time. The location is great if you enjoy being in the shopping district and it is on the quiet end walkable to many restaurants and shops. The staff is fabulous and our unit was cleaned at least twice and they offered grocery shopping at a reasonable price and arranged two tours for us. There is construction going on next door although we only heard it on one morning at 8am so ask about it in your reservation. It wasn't awful but definitely will wake you up. The price was wonderful and compensated for this, we had one problem the showers are very modern and difficult to use and in the master, the ceiling had some paint that was cracking and peeled off and fell down one evening out of the 4 we stayed. The immediately came and cleaned it up. If you like a royal historical (but modern technology) kind of experience it is worth a go but like any historical building (that is gorgeous with stained glass windows everywhere and floral stucco ceiling painted in old world wonder) it has some historical drawbacks. We would definitely stay here again. Great for families. My kids loved their private space and the service was 5 star. It was a gorgeous apartment. thank you
