Don't choose Greyline as recommended by Expedia for airport transfers. They are unreliable and the vans are beat up. The Montage is transportation is only $10 more, reliable and clean. Use Marini for fishing. I caught 4 marlin and 2 dorado on a half day trip!

My daughter caught a bacteria from it that we had to take her to the doctor once we got back to the US and had to take meds for a whole week. So if you wanna snorkel I say take your own or buy some at Compass

The pizza and tacos were amazing! Sushi was fresh and delicious. Mezcal has the best cornbread and smoke butter I have ever had! Carlos was an amazing host and arranged everything from reservations and transportation on property and off. But the real reason we came was for the beach! The water was amazing and beachside service staff was impeccable. Juan and Aldo were there with new iced buckets of water or beverages, had towels for us coming out of the water, and even moved the umbrellas around for extra shade throughout the day so we didn’t sunburn. The water was stunning and swimable. The turndown service was welcomed so we never went without fresh towels. Comfortable, clean, and beautiful views are just a few mentions for our room. I would stay here again. Thank you thank you thank you Montage!!!!

- Samuel (8/5): - Incredible luxury resort, easily one of my all time favorite places I’ve ever stayed. From the superior design details and landscaping to the top of the line service given by all employees, this property sets itself apart from other high end resorts. The location, being on Santa Maria Bay is certainly one the biggest draws- a stunning clear water beach and place to snorkel and watch yachts come and go. View from our “Coastal View” room was spectacular and blew us away. Room was well appointed. The only downside was the endless drilling noises and construction happening on both sides of the resort. Every video I took at the Montage, you can hear just how loud the work was. We only stayed two nights, but during dinner time the noise did stop, however, hanging at the pool or beach it was just incessant noise. This is no fault of the Montage, and I do think they aided in a good experience by periodically providing fun delicious treats to the clientele— complimentary pastry for breakfast at Mescal, paletas at the pool around 4pm and we received mini carajillos at Mezcal during dinner— much appreciated! Food at the property was fairly good, just a little uninspired. Definitely try the fish tacos at the pool. Cantaloupe Gazpacho &the Whole Fish dish at Marea. At Mescal they have amazing corn bread smoked butter & try the Cafe De Olla dessert.

Gourgeous interior and outdoors, separate areas for kids and adults. Beautiful beach, although when we went in May the water was a bit cold. The stuff is very very friendly and nice.

- Mesut (2/5): - I have stayed in many hotels with a nightly rate of over $1000. In comparison, this hotel should charge half its current rate to earn a five-star review from me. It is exorbitantly overpriced; a fair price would be around $600 per night, certainly not $1800. Contrary to what one might expect, the beach is not private. On Sundays, it's crowded with hundreds of locals, diminishing the exclusivity one anticipates from such a premium establishment. Dining here is also a letdown, with each meal costing between $130 and $250. Considering my experience dining at numerous high-end restaurants where dishes are priced over $200, this hotel's restaurant significantly lacks in value, taste, and overall dining experience. It's possibly one of the worst in terms of price-to-value ratio and taste that I've encountered. The facilities are satisfactory for a hotel charging $600 per night, but they fall short of expectations for one asking $1800. The staff's service quality mirrors that of hotels in Los Cabos that charge between $300 and $500 per night, not the premium experience one would expect at this price point. While the rooms are impressive, the air conditioning units are distressingly loud, which is a considerable drawback. The rooms themselves could be valued at $750 per night, but they do not justify an $1800 price tag. Overall, I believe spending money on this hotel is not worthwhile. It is vastly overpriced and lacks the distinctive qualities that set apart other luxury hotels

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. I can't say enough good things about the property. My family and I had the best time and did not want the trip to end. - Arnold (6/5): - We are a family with children that stayed during the couple of days Hurricane Hillary was near. The first day was great since we got to enjoy early check in, the beach with free gear, both Marea and Mezcal with great service, as well as the pool with great service. Unfortunately, on the second day the beach was closed, it was recommended to stay in the room, and staff was focused on preparing for the storm. We had a room with a pool which allowed us to keep swimming and the room service was great for breakfast and lunch. We received daily credit for the construction noise but we would have enjoyed some free activities (spa, wine tasting, desserts, etc), additional credit or even a complimentary night to make up for missing out on the beach, pools and other activities we were looking forward to during the storm. We did receive a "worry doll" since they knew we were starting to get scared which was very thoughtful. Overall, we know we will greatly enjoy it when we return under better weather conditions!

- frank (10/5): Fabulous! - Our stay was absolutely amazing! We loved the suite, the welcome gifts to my kids, fruit and water in the room. Pools are great and we never left the property. We have been to Cabo many time and really wanted to enjoy the hotel and we were very happy! Property is fabulous including service and everything takes you to a whole another level of vacationing. Marea restaurant has an amazing view and delicious food. We used the babysitter service a few times and Montserrat was the sweetest and professional. My kids loved her and still ask about her. Paintbox (kids club) was super fun for them too and they went a few times. And you can enjoy while they are having fun! Everything was great, only complain I have is mosquitos in the room which we all got several bites while sleeping and that's something shouldn't happen when paying $1,200 a night, and I never even opened the outside doors.
- JessicaMacnguye (10/5): - We travel often the past. We went to Maldives , Bora Bora, etc. Everywhere we go we stay at the best resorts and hotels so we’re picky. So I asked the local people there to compare Montage to other resorts. They said the Montage is the best resorts and safest place in Cabo because they have the best location and police stations are near by the Montage. A lot of stars bought their properties near by the Montage( according to the local person I asked ) Their staffs are very well trained. They’re very professional. They’ll stop what they’re doing and greet you every time they see you. My husband and I were amazed how professional they are. The food were great! It’s great for couples and families. We live in CA and we go to the Montage in Laguna beach to have dinner sometimes. And I love it every time. Montage is a big name! You will never be wrong by choosing Montage. If you’re unsure whether it’s safe or not to travel to Cabo now. Let me tell you this it’s safe and if you go stay the Montage. There is no case of Covid. They clean your room 2 times a day. They give you new basket of fruits everyday. Hand sanitizers in every corner. I got back from my trip safe and sound. :)

Best hotel architecture nestled between the mountain peaks of Santa Maria beach! Its a spa like oasis. The largest and best spa! Great food! And we checked out the other 5 resorts of 5 diamond rating. This property only opened less than 2 years ago. I don't usually rate anything, and frankly I did not want to get the secret out selfishly so it does not get run down. but I had to give this shout out!

- Paula (8/5): Great hotel take your room confirmation - Its a lovely hotel with lots of room for guests, no one putting things on sun beds before breakfast. The pool by the beach was quite busy with adults not so many children as its a quiet pool so they cannot play, ours had a ball and were told to stop playing with it, but this wasn't made clear to us. We had to retreat to the kids pool which is very big and lovely for adults too and we only saw about 8 people max using it with us at any time. In this pool they can even play with floaties. My kids loved it but I would of loved to of watched the sea. The beach is sand pebbles so its uncomfortable to walk on but the rolling waves for boarding are fantastic and we spent hours having great fun with an amazing life guard constantly watching us. We weren't told about the Friday and Saturday night kids time at the kids club which would of been nice as we could of had a dinner to ourselves. The hotel allows Uber drivers in are treat them with respect and kindness to take you to the Marina or San Jose. They recommend fantastic restaurants our favorites were Lupita and Ediths. If you prefer to use a car organized by the hotel this is possible too. The rooms are clean, comfortable and cater to all your needs, we found our last 2 days the service in our room dropped off and after 3 days our fresh fruit stopped and the plates remained dirty that we had used for the fruit. We booked a coastal view but when we arrive they said we had been upgraded to a coastal view from mountain.
