• Murray (3/5): Not what it represents itself as - Not much Lights didn’t work, had a stinking chook shed that looked like a rubbish dump next to the outdoor area and right out the kitchen window, the owner would walk around and peer in the window, the supposed country view was overgrown, outdoor chairs broken.
• Meri (8/5): Quiet, spacious country accommodation close to Tumut. - Spacious, 10 minute drive to Tumut, quiet area, picturesque countryside, host quick to respond. Nothing, all good.
• PETER (7/5): Enjoyable comfortable stay, property needs some love. - We had a comfortable stay, with ample space and a well equipped kitchen. Internally was clean & tidy. The laundry facility was appreciated as we were travelling. It is a quiet rural location at the end of the road, just follow Google maps & you will get there, the road is quite narrow at end. Heating works well in the living area and main bedroom. Many birds in the garden. Externally the property is a bit tired and needs some love. the outdoor setting was dirty and the chairs broken. Pavers are a bit uneven in places. Surrounds just need a tidy up. It appears the property is on tank water, but there is no information to advise such, if so, it should be in the advertising. There was a bit of a delay in where to access the key, but we found it. The property has lots of potential, just lacks a bit of finesse.

• Gunner (5/5): Needs revamping - The location was peaceful, lovely, and quiet. The property needs revamping. Needs new glassware dinner sets and cutlery knives that cut would be useful. Investment in towels that are thick rather than thin, tired looking would be good.. Some maintenance around the kitchen to repair laminate that's falling off. Skirting boards need painting and upstairs carpet needs replacing. The matteress and bed squeak. The property needs some work to bring it up to standard.

• Debbie (9/5): Superb - Location, peace and quiet, lovely veiws. The cottage has everything you need to have a great stay. This was my second visit, so it was alittle like coming home, it was brothers first time at the cottage. But he loved it as much as i did the first time.

• Fiona (6/5): I could have made a better choice for accommodation to cover travel and comfort requirements. - Plenty of space. Had I noticed at the time of booking, that there was no internet, I would have not chosen this property. Work issues had to be attended. Areas needing repair were not attended; not a good look. Bedrooms cold.

• Hulya (10/5): We will be back. - Loved everything about the accommodation and the area. If you are looking forward to just relaxing and enjoying the serenity, Tumut is the place to visit and stay. One week was not enough. We could have stayed here forever. We are looking forward to going back. Maybe in spring so we can enjoy the outdoor area. The owner of the property is just wonderful too. We felt as though we were visiting family. Thank you, Dom, for making us feel so welcome. Missing you already.

• Annette (7/5): we would like to revisit if not for the bathroom and toilet being away from bedrooms - was spacious and clean two bedrooms upstairs one with a view no other view from property bathroom and toilet down stairs approximately 15 stairs to use the toilet very inconvenient especially at night time
• Helena (10/5): Amazing country get away! - Beautiful, peaceful and private location. Very clean and spacious house just like a home away from home. Nothing was a miss complete kitchen, bathroom, laundry etc. just perfect. Easy short drive from the centre of Tumut.
• Robert (3/5): Fell well short of expectations. - Good whitegoods. Spacious and well air conditioned, provided you were not using the second bedroom upstairs. Incorrect address advertised, it not being located in Tumut - making it difficult to find. Advertised BBQ did not exist, despite this being a key attraction for us. The kitchen crockery and glassware was poor, possibly sourced from an opportunity shop. The cooking pots and pans were unclean. An adjacent bird aviary was quite disgusting, unclean and smelly.

• Debbie (9/5): We will definitely stay here again. - I stayed at the cottage with my two girls for 5 nights and wished we could have stayed longer. We enjoyed the feeling of being in a home away from home. The cottage was clean and tidy without being clinical and had a cosy, homey feel to it. The setting is lovely and the peace was amazing. Convenient location, only minutes from Tumut township. Our hosts were friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Wonderful, restful, experience.
