• Büşra (8/5): Very good - Super friendly and helpful staff!! They really did their best to make us feel comfortable. We appreciate it deeply! The room was big in size, neat and clean, beds comfortable. I was impressed with the space for suitcases under the wardrobe and the wall opening close to the ceiling above the internal door, so that one air-conditioning could accimodate both kitchen and bedroom. It was really nice having a table outside, like a balcony with a view to the pool. The maid came everyday to clean.The pool was nice. They cleaned it every day, but due to season there were some leaves from the trees floating. The breakfast was good. Didn't have tons of stuff, but more or less what one needs plus local flavor. The location was very good, close to a nice sea and many restaurants. We highly recommend the fish tavern Psirris. A mini market is just across the street and a bigger supermarket in 10' walking distance. In late September, the Kantouni village was calm and relaxed. Poor or hardly wifi reception in the room. It was a bit better in the balcony and fine by the pool though. The kitchenette was a bit small in space. Sometimes there were ants running next to the sink.

• Milena (10/5): Exceptional - Calm hotel 5 min on foot to the beach and restaurants. The pool is big and warm. The rooms are very clean and the windows have nets. The staff is very nice and helpful.

• Stuart (9/5): Superb - Kalydna Island hotel is a beautiful location on a spectacular island. We spent 4 nights B&B and had a brilliant time. The room was spotless and tidied daily, the breakfast was plentiful, and fresh. The greek yoghurt was the best I have ever tasted. Loads of great tavernas within walking distance. My only complaint is a small one. As a coffee lover, I was disappointed with the coffee at breakfast. It was thick, gloopy and really bitter.
• Claire (8/5): Very good hotel in pleasant small town in Kalymnos - Breakfast was fantastic. The property had a nice feel about the place, and we enjoyed the pool and pool bar. Nomiki at reception was very nice. It was a bit noisy - there was not great noise insulation in the rooms from the hall. Also it didn’t seem there was an option for a double bed so we had two singles pushed together.

• Charmian (8/5): Very good - The location was good - you could walk to the beach and there were several tavernas in walking distance The bar opening times were erratic, and you often had to go and find someone to serve you a drink especially in the evenings. There was no food served in the evenings

• Jorunn (8/5): Nice quiet hotel, friendly staff, good location. - The people who worked there. Especially Irini who cleaned our room everyday! Breakfast was also good. We were disappointed with all the guests at the hotell that did not shower before using the pool! We never went in the pool.
• Margaret (8/5): Pretty Kalydna - Loved the comfy beds. Clean sheets andctowels daily. Cleaned daily. Aircon. Location minutes to the beach. Restaurants are all within close walking distance. Quite flat, which is good for people with mobility issues. The hotel has stairs up to the breakfast area with a handrail. Staff. Well, they are just excellent. Nothing is too much trouble. Very kind and very friendly. Maria and Marina are very welcoming and helpful, along with their newest recruit, Nomika. Who is an asset to the team. Cannot write a review without mentioning Ken. He is the pool and health and safety man. Always cheerful. Great banter. Very helpful and maintains the pool twice daily. The hotel has very pretty surroundings and is beautiful within the huge courtyard area. Small matters. There was a water issue on the Greek Easter weekend, which presented us with no water on and off. We were notified and kept us informed. Once this was fixed (on the Holy Sunday), all was ok. Also, had a few times of no hot water. But once alerted, this was remedied. Other than this, will recommend it.
• Ellen (9/5): Lovely relaxing stay - This is a a lovely authentic hotel, very genuine and very Greek. It was peaceful and the staff were lovely and super helpful. For a small family hotel the pool was excellent and religiously cleaned to a high standard every morning by the Ken from South Shields! I would highly recommend this hotel as a base and plenty of restaurants in walking distances and the beach is only 5 mins from the hotel. Breakfast could have had a little more selection, but when the scrambled eggs were done some mornings I have to say they were possibly some of the best I have ever had in a hotel!

• Maud (8/5): Nice stay in Kalymnos hotel - Lovely small hotel with big pool and spacious area behind the hotel. Huge old tree at the pool which is beautiful! Very helpful and friendly staff. Simple rooms with balcony, could use some updating but everything is there including little fridge and airconditioning. We rented scooters to see the island and the location was good. Bathroom is a bit outdated, breakfast was ok but a bit limited
• Eilidh (9/5): Excellent family friendly, helpful staff and spotless - so friendly, spotless, helpful staff and lovely pool. great fresh local food for breakfast. short walk to beach and good variety of local tavernas. not too loud, a very relaxing break. we used it as a base for climbing/scuba/beach. basic self catering allowed option of making food a few evenings and making lunches. nothing too much trouble for staff. nice comfortable entrance lounge to sit in if desired. better coffee in the morning would be my only small area for improvement.
