• Elizabeth (10/5): Solo stay. - The location was perfect a minute from the airport bus stop, 15 minutes from the train station and minutes from the main attractions. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, I loved the tote bag left in the room for you to use when shopping and the commitment to being environmentally conscious. Absolutely nothing.orher than I had to leave to come home.

• Emilia (9/5): - Aamiainen alkoi virallisesti vasta klo 8, vaikka täällä nettisivuilla luki, että se alkaisi kello 7. Aamiaisen aikainen alkamisaika oli valintakriteeri, joten pelästyin, että emme saa aamiaista ennen aamulentoa. Ystävällisesti aamiainen kuitenkin järjestyi jo klo 7.30 jälkeen ja ehdimme syödä aamiaisen, mikä oli hienoa! Saapumisemme myöhästyi runsaasti ja saavuimme vasta puolen yön aikaan (junan peruutuksesta johtuen). Pääsimme kuitenkin sujuvasti huoneeseen. Huone oli tilava, lapselle oli syöttötuoli ja sänky ja muutenkin kaikki oli helppoa. Tieto aamiaisen alkamiasajasta pitäisi päivittää booking-sivulle, koska se ei vastannut todellisuutta.

Жилые комнаты в апартаментах оформлены и названы под писателей/писательниц - я проживал в stanza Andrea Camilleri. Огромная комната, санузел с душевой в наличии, гель, шампунь, мыло - всего с большим запасом. Одна двуспальная кровать и две односпалки - можно разместиться семьёй или компанией. Оформление оригинальное, всё красиво, уютно и главное с душой. Завтрак пусть в основе и итальянский, но йогурт с орехами и ягодами плюс немного сыра и мяса его вполне органично дополняют, а Диего готовит гостям кофе. В заключение, хочется сказать огромное спасибо Диего за его отношение к делу и искренний интерес к времяпровождению гостей в его прекрасном городе!

• Irene (9/5): Prima plek om te verblijven om Catania te bezoeken - De locatie was goed. Goed ontbijt. Ik wil graag yoghurt, sinaasappel en muesli kunnen eten als ontbijt, en dat kon hier. Fijne B&B eigenaar, leuke plek, echte B&B waar eigenaar dus ook woont. Knusse plek, hele ruime kamer. Verder geven andere recensies een goed beeld. Alibus naar het vliegveld stopt nagenoeg voor de deur. Als ik iets moet noemen, geluid van de straat, maar dat is in het centrum overal vermoed ik. En de wat krappe douchecabine. Maar ik zou het zo weer boeken als ik naar Catania ging. Op de dag voor onze terugreis was deze B&B al vol, anders hadden we hier weer geboekt. De B&B waar we toen zaten, haalde het echt niet bij deze.

• Bliss46 (10/5): Une adresse pleine de charme, idéalement située, avec un accueil exceptionnel. A recommander! - Un super séjour de 4 nuits ! L’accueil est vraiment au top, Diego est d’une gentillesse et d’une disponibilité rares. Le petit déjeuner est tout simplement exceptionnel, avec beaucoup de choix et des produits de qualité. Les chambres sont magnifiques, avec de très hauts plafonds, une décoration soignée et plein de petites attentions qui font la différence. L’emplacement est idéal : proche du centre, avec un arrêt de bus juste en bas, tout est facilement accessible à pied. Une adresse pleine de charme. Franchement rien de notable, à part une petite lumière verte dans la chambre la nuit, mais c’est vraiment un détail 😅
• Corine (10/5): - Diego was a wonderful and welcoming host in an adorable BnB. There is so much thoughtfulness and care put into the whole space, and I loved the bedroom with its cute balcony and private bathroom. It had all the amenities that I needed, was beautifully located just 4 minutes walk from Pizza Duomo, and everything was comfy and clean. Again, Diego was fabulous- the breakfast included delicious homemade jams and baked goods and yogurts, and Diego offered me some books to read in the evenings with a warm cup of tea. Highly recommend this place. If you're a solo traveller, it's a lovely way to meet someone awesome and have a cozy safe space to land. Honestly, no need for improvement. I know some folks complained about the 2 flights of stairs, but those are what give you the lovely view from the balcony and Diego helped me with my bags up and down. I found the area to be safe. There was some noise in the evenings from folks partying down the street, but that would be true of any lodging close to the center. I thought it was all fabulous.

• Sarah (8/5): Book-themed rooms and fab breakfast with hosts living on site - Loved the book concept (we stayed in the Jules Verne room) and the delicious breakfast spread. Had a spacious room with balcony. It's a central location for sightseeing and a reasonable walk from the central station, and the bus to the Catania Airport stops right across the street. Helpful host put out some pastries for us for the morning of our pre-breakfast departure. A bit of traffic noise from the main street below, but not bad. Lots of graffiti in the area, if that bothers you.

Perfectly situated in the heart of the city, it offers spotlessly clean and quiet rooms, along with a hearty breakfast to start your day. The owners, however, are what truly make this place special — they put their passion for travel into designing and running this place. Their warm hospitality makes you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. I’m most happy to have stayed there and I will definitely be coming back on my next visit to Catania!​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​ The room was perfect soundproofed with no noise from the street, though the air conditioning itself was a bit audible for light sleeper like me.

Das wunderbare Frühstück. An zwei Abenden gab es in einem Innenhof in der Nähe ein Konzert, das Dröhnen der Lautsprecher drang durch die Fenster.

• Sandra (10/5): Beautiful - Everything.. !! They have done such a beautiful job creating a relaxing space for people to enjoy. Although sharing common spaces, it was crowded and I really enjoyed breakfast chats with another guest. The breakfast served was incredible and a lot of it homemade.. I felt like I got to see a more traditional breakfast, it was honestly delightful. Hosts are so lovely and helpful. I wish I had more time to sit and read... location was perfect too. Nothing about the property, there are just a few streets I found myself walking down to get back... later in the evening, which didn't feel very safe. I would say stick to main roads if this is a concern.

Le stanze sono molto pulite e accoglienti, inoltre ci sono tanti dettagli che fanno capire quanto l'host si impegni per fare avere un soggiorno perfetto. Ad esempio il cocktail di benvenuto, l'acqua in camera, una borsetta di stoffa da poter utilizzare (mi è tornata molto utile), salviette struccanti e bigliettini ben scritti con istruzioni per qualunque cosa. Non dimentichiamo la colazione: fantastica e deliziosa. Se tornerò a Catania questo sarà il mio alloggio!

(10/5): Wunderbare Unterkunft in zentraler Lage - Von außen ist das Haus eher unspektakulär, doch im Inneren erweist sich die Wohnung als wahre Perle, ein Wohnung mit mehreren wunderbar originell individuell und Liebe zum Detail eingerichteten Gästezimmern. Sehr kreativ gestaltete Einrichtung. Es gibt ein sehr schmackhaftes Frühstück, viele kleine Leckereien, ebenfalls mit viel Liebe und Sorgfalt zubereitet. Sehr netter Vermieter. Die Parkplatzsituation ist nicht einfach, aber wir haben in der Straße vor dem Haus einen Platz gefunden. Die Lage ist super, man ist direkt in der Altstadt und kann alles zu Fuß schnell erreichen. Jederzeit wieder! Alles perfekt

• Elena (10/5): Welcoming and comfortable in an unbeatable location, with a friendly host and delicious breakfast! - We had a fantastic stay at Bed, Book & Breakfast Landolina in the Camilleri Room. Definitely the largest accommodation across our whole trip, with a great bathroom and shower, amenities and a hair dryer. There was plenty of room to get comfortable, and the kitchen area to be able to get a drink/tea at any time was really welcome. We only met one of the hosts, Diego, who each day prepared a beautiful breakfast spread for all the guests - even making us a cappuccino! The location is unbeatable, in minutes walking distance from all the main sites of Catania central, and transport options. It was also incredibly quiet, even over the weekend. Would love to stay again :) There is nothing we didn't like! It provided everything you need from accommodation. Everything was exactly as advertised.

• Heidi (9/5): A unique accommodation in Catania - The B & B was in a perfect location for sight seeing. Diego was very helpful for providing directions and recommendations. The breakfast provided consisted of authentic Sicilian pastries, cheese, meat and fruit. Delicious. Our room was bright and cheerful with a wraparound terrace. The owners did a wonderful job decorating this B & B with thoughtful and personal details! For me personally, I found the bed and the pillows on the hard side.

The book themed rooms were delightful, bed very comfortable and clean ... and best of all a lovely balcony to relax and soak in the city. Tip: there's a bakery on the corner that has the best gelato. The host was also very helpful providing tips on which markets to visit, etc.

Five minute walk to Piazza Duomo, 10-15 min walk to train and bus stations, flat but cobblestones. Lovely theme for book lovers, I was in the Brontë room with little book drawers of books by the whole Brontë family. Little notes about the room about use of toilet paper to the calico bag you can use for shopping. The host Diego lives on site and was so helpful, meeting me to carry my suitcase upstairs, make your tea/coffee at breakfast and responding to messages. Breakfast, huge, fresh fruit and yoghurt, nuts, pastries, cake, more fruit! Great recommendations for dinner and tourist sights. Decor tribute to famous authors throughout the apartment. Breakfast room and fridge open for your use as there was no tea/coffee making in my room. Not to forget great aircon and wifi, plus PowerPoints for charging and TV! All good

Highly recommend! Maybe having a choice of harder/softer pillows would be nice (but that is a tiny personal issue!)

• JUNE (10/5): A wonderful Bed and Breakfast - The property was in a great location to explore Catania. Diego was always quick to respond to messages and went out of his way to make sure our stay was perfect. The breakfast was delicious, so much variety and more than enough to eat. We wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this accomodation to others!
• susan (10/5): Perfect place to stay for a visit to Catania - The bed and breakfast is in the best location in Catania, very central and convenient for transport links. The rooms are beautifully decorated with a lot of attention to detail and love gone into making each room feel special. The aircon is very welcome in the hot summer, with no disturbance of noise from outside.The breakfast is delicious and plentiful, with lots of home made items , again showing the passion and love Diego and Giusi have for the place. The hosts are warm and friendly and are able to give advice and make recommendations. My second stay here, and I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else in Catania!

Breakfast was fantastic and makes everything better. There is a fridge you could use and microwave. Plenty of storage and hangers. Air worked well. We stayed 3 nights and would stay again. It could be a spec noisy at times. Water temp wasn’t super hot. You can’t flush tp. ( they empty trash daily). Towels could be a little softer. FYI. There are stairs up to the room.

Unser Zimmer war riesig, hatten einen Balkon, so konnten wir abends noch schön draußen sitzen und den Wein genießen. Echte Willkommenskultur, Hilfsbereitschaft und Liebe für Details - wenn Catania, dann hier! ❤️🇮🇹🤩 Es gibt schlicht nichts.

• Melanie (9/5): A great place to stay in Catania and great value for money. - This is a quirky little B&B with a book theme in all the rooms. The room has everything that one needs for a stay with private facilities and especially aircon because the temperature was so high during our stay in early September. Diego was a terrific host and very flexible with our travel arrangements. The B&B is on the second floor and Diego helped us up the stairs with our cases. He was very welcoming, offering tea and coffee, then recommending where we might eat. There are some good local restaurants just around the corner. We thought that the B&B undersells itself; the breakfast was excellent and set us up for a day of travelling. The airport bus runs from the top of the street, only two minutes away. • Daniele (10/5): - Soluzione perfetta in centro a Catania. Sostanzialmente a 10min a piedi dalla stazione Centrale e 20min di autobus dall'aeroporto. La stanza in cui ho pernottato era grande, pulita, funzionale e anche molto gradevole in termini di arredamento. I proprietari (ho conosciuto Diego) super cordiali e disponibili, persone per bene. Se il voto massimo è 10, voto 15. Tornerò.
• Simon (10/5): Wonderful stay in Catania - I loved my stay at BB&B Landolina. The breakfast was yummy with lots of choice - yoghurts, cheese, bread, croissants, Italian pastries and cakes, tomatoes, olives, etc. The room was neat, inviting and comfortable, including the bed. The location is perfect for exploring the historic centre of Catania - pretty much 10-15 minutes walk to anything you'd want to see. However, it was far enough removed from the main touristy areas to be not too noisy at night. Nothing I didn't like.
• Tatjana (10/5): Ich bin sehr begeistert von Diego als Gastgeber, er war immer da, wenn man etwas brauchte und hatte auch gute Tipps für - Ein sehr schönes, großes Zimmer, das mit ganz viel Liebe eingerichtet wurde. Die gesamte Unterkunft ist schön und sehr sauber. Das Frühstück war extrem lecker, vieles selbst gemacht wie z.B. Marmelade oder Kuchen. Den ganzen Tag über kann man Wasser, Tee oder Kaffee nehmen. Die Lage ist super, man kann alles zu Fuß schnell erreichen und dann ist man mittendrin.
• Sara (10/5): Einen wunderbaren Host, der eine fantastische Unterkunft an bester Lage anbietet. - Diego ist super in der Kommunikation, hat alles bestens geklappt. Er hat die Unterkunft mit Liebe eingerichtet und es hat alles und mehr als man braucht. Das Frühstück ist mit wunderschönen Sachen zubereitet. Das Zimmer ist riesig und wunderschön. Ich habe selten so eine saubere Unterkunft erlebt. Vielen Dank - sehr, sehr empfehlenswert!! -
• Leonardo (9/5): Consigliatissimo! - B&B delizioso. Tutto accuratissimo, atmosfera anche garbatamente colta, accoglienza ineccepibile. Colazione notevole con diversi piatti hand-made.
• Vincent (10/5): Endroit très chaleureux, comme en famille. Confortable, au coeur du centre-historique de Catane. - Un B&B décoré et aménagé avec beaucoup d'originalité. On se sent comme en famille, dans des chambres très confortables, avec salle de bain moderne et des équipements de qualité. Accueil magnifique et attentionné des propriétaires. Localisation très pratique, au cœur de la ville historique de Catane, à 15 minutes de la gare de train et de bus, bus pour l'aéroport juste en face du B&B. Petit déjeuner délicieux. C'est un endroit très chaleureux. Rien à signaler. Tout était parfait. C'est vraiment un B&B à recommander, notamment pour les couples.
• CARLOS EDUARDO (9/5): Excelente ubicación - La ubicación es excelente, cerca de varias atracciones turísticas de la ciudad. Hay varios restaurantes y bares cerca, y se puede ir caminando a todas partes. La habitación y las zonas comunes están muy bien decoradas. El apartamento está en un tercer piso y no tiene ascensor, algo muy común en la ciudad. Sin embargo, el anfitrión fue muy atento y nos ayudó con el equipaje, tanto a la llegada como a la salida.

• Charlotte (10/5): Heerlijk verblijf, goede nachtrust en fantastisch ontbijt - We werden vriendelijk ontvangen in deze prachtige B&B. De aankleding is super en het concept klopt ook volledig. De locatie is zeer goed, dicht bij een bushalte (om naar de luchthaven te gaan) en dicht bij het centrum van de stad. Het ontbijt was vers en lekker. Ze maken hun eigen yoghurt, confituur, koekjes,.. allemaal heerlijk. We kregen ook vers gesneden fruit. Ik zal deze overnachting aan raden in de toekomst bij mensen die Catania willen bezoeken. Niets over de B&B. Ik zelf had het kastje met andere spullen die ze verkopen, zoals oorbellen te laat gezien en heb daar nu spijt van dat ik geen gekocht heb.

• Kelly (9/5): We had a lovely stay, the hotel is really nicely done, reasonable priced with lovely helpful hosts - A lovely little B&B. The owners are very hospitable, the breakfast is lovely, nearly all homemade. Our family toom was spacious with two balconies beautifully decorated with lots of books on the desk. Each of has a little quote bookmark on our best which was a lovely thoughtful touch. Books in the communal area which we loved, and lots of helpful restaurant recommendations from the owner. It’s also a hotel that is conscious of the environment which I liked. Nothing. It was all lovely.

The rooms are full of the character of Sicily, yet have every comfort you will need and are wonderfully dark and quiet for the perfect sleep.They are perfectly clean and serviced every day. The included breakfast is a 5 star experience, with homemade, delicious goodies. The location is an easy 5 min walk to all the main historical and cultural locations as well as many fabulous restaurants. There is nothing to dislike!!!!
