- Alice (10/5): Super sejour au coeur de la medina, personnel incroyable - Nous avons passé une incroyable semaine au riad de la Maison Do! La chambre correspondait parfaitement aux photos et nous n’avons eu aucuns problèmes durant tout notre séjour. Le riad est situé a une dizaine de minutes à pied de l’hyper centre de Marrakech ce qui est un vrai atout! Grosse mention spéciale à Julie, Ali et tout le personnel qui ont étaient incroyablement gentils et accueillants avec nous, c’est aussi grâce à eux que notre sejour c’est super bien passé! Ils nous ont proposé des excursions, nous ont conseillé des endroits ou manger, des spas à faire au alentour, etc. Le petit déjeuner était aussi tres bon et copieux. Je n’ai rien a dire c’etait top! Encore merci à tout le personnel du riad qui a été aux petits soins avec nous! Je recommande vivement cette établissement vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés!

- Alberto (1/5): Malísima y pésima estancia - Nada, una total decepción. A mi juicio, un gran timo. Voy a empiezar a enumerar una larga lista de aspectos que no me gustaron para nada, a mi ni a la inmensa mayoría que vaya a este Riad. 1. Las fotos engañosas: no tienen nada que ver con la realidad. 2. Las habitaciones que nos dieron eran lúgubres y apenas se podía respirar por la humedad que tenían. Además de un calor soporífero, el ambiente para dormir era imposible. Se oía el ruido de la calle. 3. Instalaciones viejas: la ducha se atascaba, los enchufes en muy malas condiciones, limpieza escasa…en definitiva todo muy antiguo, viejo y estropeado. 4. La ubicación, si bien es cierto que se encuentra en la pintoresca Medina, el Riad se hallaba en unas callejuelas bastante abandonadas, en las que incluso sentimos miedo. 5. Malísima calidad - precio: pagamos por un supuesto acomodada Riad casi 800€ por 3 noches y dos habitaciones. Evidentemente, con ese precio de puede uno alojar en algún lugar mejor. 6. Atención al cliente pésima: la primera noche ya decidimos que allí no podíamos seguir más, y a pesar de dejar libre las otras dos noches al abandonar el Riad en búsqueda de otro alojamiento, no nos dieron respuesta o solución alguna. Suelo viajar bastante y busco alojamientos de clase media, pero este sin duda ha sido mi peor estancia en los 30 años en los que he recorrido medio mundo.

Que la piscina estuviera en obras, era peligroso para los niños, con alambres, clavos puntas y había azulejos dentro y me corté un dedo. Que no saliera agua caliente en la ducha. Y la distancia a la plaza, algo lejos.

Location was conviennent but out of the loud/busy areas. The only thing that could be improved is the breakfast - I loved that the bread and omelettes are freshly cooked however I think more variety would be good such as yogurt, nut butters & serving fresh mint tea would add to the authentic feel! We didn’t love the dinner we had on the first night as it was just a bit lacking flavour.

- Katie (9/5): Lovely stay - Lovely place to stay, the building has beautiful features in the common areas. Beds were comfortable, room was a good size and showers worked well. Breakfast was also nice and the staff were lovely. It’s best to get the shuttle they provide from the airport as it can be hard for taxis to get there. No complaints - would stay again!

He made transport to the airport the following morning ( at 5 am) seamless and easy. He even offered to bring us croissants from a local bakery since their chef would not be available for breakfast that early. So kind! Nice size bedroom, bathroom, shower, and two different roads that are available for guests. The sitting areas and terrace are lovely. The riad sits beside a "street" where teenage boys have motorcycle races until midnight. Regardless, we enjoyed experiencing the local culture.

- Sylvie (1/5): 1496$ canadien pour une nuit trop dispendieux. - Je suis désolé pour Julie qui a été d'une gentillesse incroyable ainsi que tout le personnel. Petit déjeuner délicieux. Je crois que les photos datait d'il y a 10 ans, il y avait une magnifique terrasse avec des chaises longues et des beaux coussins des plantes ect. Maintenant ça manque de beaucoup d'amour. Vous pouvez voir par vous même . Le personnel est parfait part contre j'ai du annuler après une journée à cause d'une blessure aucun remboursement m'a été donné. Dans la nuit les chats se battaient a coté de notre chambre nous étions aux 2ième. À peut près pas dormi de la nuit, très bruyant situé dans une ruelle près de la médina beaucoup de scooters qui bourdonne impossible de faire fonctionner l'air climatisé ils sont fermé jusqu'en mai et nous étions à la fin mars donc fallait dormir les fenêtres ouverte. Finalement une chance que nous avons dormi seulement une nuit, parce que nous avions réservé pour 7 nuits. Aucun arrangement possible du proprio à cause que mon épouse qui était blessé à un genoux et être obligé de monter et descendre des marches sans même de main courante. Cela nous a coûté le total... En passant il y a même un couple d'Allemagne avec leurs 2 enfants qu'ils ont quitté le lendemain comme nous, donc nous étions pas les seuls.

- Caihong (2/5): Not recommend it if you’re a light sleeper - The location is good and the decoration looks nice, but when you look closely the decoration is very very old, lack of maintenance and one of the window even fell of when my daughter leaned on it 😵💫 The room we were given is on the ground floor, right next to the kitchen and courtyard and it’s unfortunate the room door couldn’t close properly, on top of the building already being very old with poor sound proof, as a result we could hear absolutely everything outside: other people’s conversations, people go in and out of the hotel and staff preparing breakfast in the mornings :( I had very bad sleeps in the nights and raised it with the management, but they said it’s an old building plus the other upstair rooms were all occupied so they couldn’t move us immediately. in the middle of our stay another family checked out so we moved in for our last 3 nights (slightly better than before with a better door but its still a ground floor room which you can hear most things going on outside). At the same time a couple arrived and checked in our old room, without being aware of the sound problem, they had sex in the morning where everyone could hear them in the kitchen & courtyard 8.30am in the morning 🤮 have to say the lack of good sleep really ruined my holiday

Abdu was very generous in organising an early morning airport taxi and providing us with breakfast to take with us. The riad is very pretty and the location is great with lots of attractions within walking distance. The rooftop pool in the second building was very nice to relax beside. As we stayed in the riad in the medina, it is quite noisey. The rooms aren't soundproof so you can hear the hustle of the Medina at night. Would recommend good earplugs!

Maison Do está muy bien ubicado. A 10 minutos caminando de la plaza Jemaa El Fna, calle tranquila y lugar seguro para poder volver tarde la noche. En nuestra habitación había bañera en lugar de ducha y resulta incómodo.

- Iria Iglesias (10/5): Auténtico riad con fantástico rooftop con piscina - Nos ha encantado el riad, típica casa Marroquí, son dos edificios y ambos tienen una gran terraza para poder tomar el sol todo el día tranquilamente (era uno de nuestros objetivos en esta escapada). Azotea con torreón, de los más altos que se pueden ver en la medina. El desayuno era el mejor momento del día, muy completo y agradable. Muchas gracias a Julie, Abdu y todo el equipo de personas que han hecho que nuestra experiencia en Marrakech sea fantástica. Riad muy recomendable. También, personalmente nos ha gustado la zona, cerca de todo pero un poco menos en el meollo tan concurrido de gente en momentos puntuales. No tenemos queja en general, nos habría gustado uno de los días que nos cambiasen las toallas pero no pudimos tampoco comunicarlo in situ, seguro que no habrían tenido problemas en darnos toallas frescas nuevas. La verdad es que no tenemos objeciones, es un riad fantástico para vivir la experiencia en la Medina de Marrakech.

- stephen (3/5): Basic Moroccan accommodation for European prices, Very disappointing. Will NEVER return EVER - The bed and pillows were OK. That's it. There's nothing else I can say. No welcome tea on arrival - you always get mint tea when checking in, even in the cheapest rooms. Breakfast bread was very dry/stale - it's made every day in local shops for a few Dirham. Only one and a half of the 3 shower heads worked. Photos of rooms are totally inaccurate, we were expecting good sized and light room but had a dark pokey room at the front above the noisy street with motor bikes whizzing about until the early hours, One of our travelling companions had a 20Euro room 300M in another street which was bigger and better equipped. No rooftop swimming pool. We warn't offered any evening meals. Needs a damn good clean. It wasn't until our last night that we found out there are 2 parts to this hotel; the other part across the road had the pool and the possibly better quality rooms we were expecting.

Très bon accueil le personnel disponible et un petit déjeuner est très bon aussi la terrasse sur l'autre bâtiment est un plus. La chambre comme dans un riad est un peu petite même si elle est très bien décorée la salle de bain aussi très bien décorée mais manque d'aération et on a rapidement des éclaboussures d'eau un peu partout

Personnels attentifs à nos besoins. Le personnel du petit déjeuner qui apportait d’emblée du chocolat chaud à notre fille de 12 ans. Une belle petite attention qui fait la différence. Un merci tout spécial à Abdu pour sa disponibilité et ses bons conseils! Nous y retournerions sans hésiter lors d’un prochain séjour à Marrakesh!

She gave us helpful tips and guidance as to things to see and do in Marrakesh. She arranged a taxi transfer to the train station for us on the morning we departed. She was easy to make contact with by whats app for anything we needed. The room was nice, The beds were very comfortable. The only thing I’d changed is that the breakfast provision could have provided more choice or variety. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay at Maison do Breakfast could have had more variety. It was all bread based. A youghurt or fruit would have been nice.

- ISABELLE (10/5): Un inoubliable séjour ! - Notre séjour dans ce vaste et magnifique "Riad" (très bien situé dans la Médina de Marrakech) restera vraiment inoubliable ! L'architecture du "Riad" est remarquable, tout comme celle du superbe "Dar" (en face) offrant une belle vue sur la ville (avec en arrière-plan l'Atlas enneigé), pour le plaisir des yeux... Nous tenons à remercier l'ensemble du Personnel pour sa sympathie (en particulier, Abdu et Ali s'étant montrés très accueillants et attentionnés quotidiennement envers nous), tout en précisant que nous nous sommes régalés lors de chaque excellent petit-déjeuner marocain (servi à table)... "Choukrane" (comme il se dit au Maroc), en guise de remerciement pour la bonne cuisine et le bel entretien du lieu. Merci également, à Julie (la Manager) pour sa gentillesse et sa disponibilité. Votre adorable p'tite attention, en clin d'œil à un Anniversaire (si particulier), restera gravée dans nos mémoires... De plus, nous n'oublierons pas (à l'occasion de notre dîner en amoureux), votre (bon) couscous ainsi que le (traditionnel) thé à la menthe (dégustés le jour de notre arrivée). Je tiens, aussi, à souligner que nous avons bien apprécié les transferts aéroport (suggérés par Julie) : nous ayant permis une arrivée sereine à "MAISON DO". Quelques suggestions : Dans la belle et confortable chambre (dans laquelle nous avons séjourné), prévoir davantage d'espace pour le rangement des vêtements.... Une chaise avec un petit bureau, également, seraient les bienvenus...
