• Andreas (10/5): Würde sofort wieder und vor allem länger buchen. - Eine äußerst warmherzige Gastgeberin. Super frisches Frühstück. Zimmer groß und schön eingerichtet. Aufenthaltsraum sehr detailliert dekoriert und mit viel Liebe eingerichtet. Man fühlt sich wie Zuhause und fühlt sich sofort wohl. Es gab nichts zu beanstanden.

• Mira (5/5): - Eine saubere Unterkunft Die Heizung wird ausschließlich vom Vermieter gesteuert. Bei unserer Anreise war das Zimmer sehr kalt, und eigenes Nachregeln war nicht erwünscht. Stattdessen sollten wir Bescheid geben, wenn uns kalt ist – was wir als unpraktisch und befremdlich empfanden. In der Früh, will man nicht als erstes bei der Vermieterin klopfen müssen… Andere Vermieter heizen vor der Ankunft der Gäste normalerweise vor, hier war das leider nicht der Fall. Die Betten waren für uns viel zu weich, und die Anreisezeit ist mit 17:00–19:00 Uhr ungewöhnlich eingeschränkt. Etwas mehr Flexibilität und Vertrauen in die Gäste wäre wünschenswert

It was rather cold in our room, bathroom, the lounge and dining room. After having to ask for the heating to be turned up in our room, it was more comfortable in the evening, but unfortunately cold again in the morning. The heating never worked in our bathroom - so too cold to have a shower.

• Dawn (10/5): Close to A9. Beautiful house and exceptional host. - Easy location just off the A9 (literally a 2 minute drive). Approximately 50 miles south from inverness. Beautiful house and gardens with plenty of bird life and red squirrels. Lovely quiet location despite being near the A9 which you cannot hear. I had a large room (I stayed in the Stag room) which had a king size canopied four poster bed. A large ensuite bathroom with a bath and shower over bath arrangement. Spotlessly clean. The premises are licensed so you can enjoy a glass of wine or a dram from the drinks menu. Everywhere, was spotlessly clean. The host was amazing and engaging and cooks delicious breakfasts to order from the menu.which you decide on the night before. You can also arrange for an evening meal (sadly didn't order this option as I arrived fairly late in the evening) Scenery is fantastic with some falls you cross via a small bridge to drive to the house. Fabulous host. Beautiful location. Great value. Nul and void...the whole place was amazing.

• Kitagawa (10/5): A Beautiful Escape Into the Country - The Crubenbeg b&b is set in an idyllic location. Near a running stream (river?) Into the country near Newtonmore. The owner, Annie is warm and friendly. Our room was large and had a 4 poster bed queen size bed. There was a large dresser and a full closet to hang your clothes. It had a sitting area by the bay window. There was a kettle with tea and coffee and a snack. The bathroom was large, with a huge tub with a shower. There was a desk with a light to allow you to put on your makeup. The b&b is licensed so you can purchase a drink if you wish. We purchased a drink and sat in the guest lounge and spoke with Annie. The next morning, we were given a wonderful full breakfast. You can go for a walk along the river. It offers a lovely view of the river as it rushes along. Overall, the setting is peaceful and serene. We would definitely stay there again, if the opportunity ever arises. We didn't find anything we didn't like.

Hun var super sød og gjorde besøget ekstra hyggeligt og behageligt med sit vindende væsen. Morgenmaden var fantastisk med hjemmelavede marmelade osv. Huset var meget smukt indrettet, smagfuldt og hjemligt. Hvis vi skulle finde et enkelt minus, kunne det være, at vi kunne høre motorvejen, når vi var udendørs.

• Ian (10/5): Fabulous stay. - A beautiful traditional house in a peaceful & tranquil setting with great woodland views & to the hills beyond. Annie is a superb host, great communication prior to our stay, & warm, welcoming & informative on arrival, nothing was a problem. The house is spacious & the rooms are comfortable, well decorated & spotlessly clean. We pre-booked a 3 course dinner which was freshly prepared & excellent before relaxing in the cozy adjoining lounge for drinks. The following morning we were treated to a delicious breakfast with plenty of choices. Wish we could have stayed longer as everything was 1st class. No hesitation in recommending a stay here, hopefully we'll return in the not too distant future. Thanks Annie.

• AgneseRadaelli (10/5): - Our staying at Crubenbeg Country House has been AMAZING! The location is lovely: completely lost in nature yet so close to the main road. The room is spacious and clean, with a stunning view of the outside. The en-suite bathroom is roomy and spotless, with soaps and organic lotions, all made in scotland. The guest lounge is cozy and warm and we had a lovely evening chatting with the host and another guest. Breakfast was hand cooked by Annie and provided traditional and veggie options for a great start of the day. Annie was also kind enough to provide us an itinerary to follow for the next day, which we ended up following closely and had an amazing day out. We would definetely recoment staying here and we're looking forward to come back in the future.

• Emmvoyage (7/5): Very comfortable stay with strict breakfast rules - Our host Claire made our stay as comfortable as possible. The shower was fantastic and the bathroom had every amenity one could think of : shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, q-tips, cotton balls, a magnifying mirror, make-up lamps, hygiene bags and paper tissues. I would have appreciated a bit more flexibility regarding breakfast time (8:30 am), sitting arrangements and dishes delivery order.

• Edith (9/5): Erholsam und entspannend - Überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sehr schöne Lage und Anwesen. Sehr freundliche Gastgeberin. Man hat sich sehr willkommen gefühlt. Das Zimmer war schön, grosszügig und gemütlich, so auch das Bad. Alles sehr sauber und ordentlich. Leider gab es kein Abendessen da der Koch in Ferien war. OK, muss auch mal sein.

• Michael (10/5): Beste Unterkunft unserer Schottland-Reise! - Das Crubenbeg Country House war definitiv unsere beste Unterkunft auf unserer kleinen Schottland-Rundreise! Angefangen beim Zimmer, das angenehm groß und wirklich liebevoll eingerichtet war. Zudem war das Bett einfach grandios bequem. Frühstück war auch super, auch der Haggis war sehr lecker, auch wenn ich da vorher etwas skeptisch war... ;) Allgemein muss man sagen, dass Annie wirklich eine ganz tolle Gastgeberin ist. Immer bemüht einem den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu machen und hat auch für jegliche Fragen ein offenes Ohr. Empfehlenswert ist auch das Abendessen bei ihr (wurde uns nach der Buchung von ihr angeboten). War sehr lecker und da man da wirklich weit ab vom Schuss ist, durchaus eine gute Option. Wir würden jederzeit wieder hier übernachten!

• Judith (9/5): Stop over on a road trip. - Beautiful location in quiet countryside setting, with lots of wildlife in the gardens. Annie gave us a most warm welcome on arrival. Spacious room, with lovely views. Lots of information provided regarding local attractions. Lovely breakfast, lots of choice , set in the main communal dining room, with views of the garden. Annie is a lovely host, and makes you feel so at home. Mattress of bed too soft, but appreciate this is personal preference.

• Dieter (10/5): Schöne zwei Nächte - wir wären gerne noch länger geblieben. - Die Gastgeber waren sehr nett und freundlich. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und das Frühstück war sehr gut und reichhaltig. Im Frühstücksraum sind wir gemütlich mit den anderen Gästen zusammen gesessen und haben uns mit ihnen gut unterhalten. Die Betten waren super, unseres sogar mit Baldachin. Die Ferienunterkunft ist etwas außerhalb in ruhiger Lage mit vielen grünen Wiesen rund herum. Und unsere Gastgeberin Annie hat uns sogar noch einen Tisch in einem Restaurant bestellt, wo wir sehr gut zu Abend gegessen haben. Bevor wir fuhren hat sie auf meinem Handy noch ein Foto von uns gemacht. Es gab nichts, was wir beanstanden hätten können.
• Christoph (10/5): A great stop on our way back. - We had a very nice stay on our way from Inverness back to Edinburgh. Annie gave us a very warm welcome and we had a very nice breakfast. The location is very convenient because it's close to the main road. Nothing to dislike.

A good variety of drinks are available to purchase including beers, wines and spirits (and a nice range of single malts.) There is nothing to dislike here. It is lovely.8

• Jean (9/5): A very welcoming country house hotel in a beautiful location. - Spacious shower-room adjoining attractive comfortable bedroom with view of trees and mountain. Gracious relaxing lounge area to sit in before dinner. Surrounded by natural views and wildlife including red squirrels. Just need to be careful not to miss the Crubenmore turn-off from the fast A9, but if you do (from the Pitlochry direction) one can turn round at the next minor road to Glentruim (which itself is a very pretty single track lane to Laggan and Spean Bridge).
• Alun (10/5): 4 nights in April - Crubenbeg is a lovely, well looked after guesthouse. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully kept. But it is Annie, the host, who really makes this place. We were very well looked after throughout our stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others.
• nerea Amaia (10/5): Extremely comfortable immersed in nature - Location: surrounded by garden, woods, river and falls. Feels immersed in nature. At the same time, the road connecting with Aviemore and the south is not far. Also how spacious the room and toilet was! I could live there as a small apartment. Also appreciated there are windows in all spaces. The heating in the room was good. Beds super comfy. Guest extremely welcoming. The lounge and dinning room are breathtaking. Also plenty of space to park bikes safely in a shed. Nothing that we did not like. However, we found the dinner a little bit pricy (£30 pp). There is no dinner option around unless you have a car.
