Dean (6/5): - A decent hotel for a one night stay, clean and comfortable. Room was average sized but did find the bathroom extremely tiny! Breakfast was excellent and was also offered to be served in your room, which was a great way for having a sneaky lie in!

Christopher (8/5): Excellent Food - Every now and then you come across a little gem The food was of the highest standard I would say getting on to a Michelin star but the chips were not twice fried I had a mushroom starter which I can honestly say was second to none and the fish and chips which are probably the hardest to get right was nearly perfect
Matthew (10/5): Lovely Home from Home - A lovely home from home hotel. Small and independent, i would highly recommend. Kerry couldnt do enough to ensure our stay was perfect. Will definitely visit again.

We had lunch & dinner in restaurant it was lovely & breakfast in the morning was superb. All staff were excellent & we would return for another visit & more than happy to recommend, keep up the good work all at Templehall Hotel
Lindsey (10/5): Overnight stay at Morebattle - We had a lovely one night stay at the Templehall Hotel, Morebattle We had a lovely room and were looked after exceptionally well by Hazel and her team Our evening meal and breakfast were perfectly cooked and nothing was too much trouble On our journey hme we travelled though the Cheviot Hills and Kielder Forest Drive which was lovely We have plans to return!

Verified traveler (8/5): Great experience! - We had an excellent stay at Templehall. Terry and her team were efficient and friendly and the breakfasts were superb. The upgraded en-suite was lovey except the mirror was so high I couldn’t see properly and there were no hooks for towels.

NeilForeman (10/5): - lovely country side , clean rooms , great tasty food , the sausage and black pudding for breakfast best i'v ever tasted , the downside was we were sightseeing on the east coast bamburgh castle and a few fishing villages ect and Temple hall hotel is a hours drive inland but it was a nice overnight stay , friendly staff as well
Teresa (10/5): Templehall Kelso - Bed really comfortable. Rooms nice and spacious. No tea or coffee facilities in room due to covid-19 but offer available in the reception area free of charge if wanted. Checked in earlier without any issues. Really nice, friendly welcome.

Laura (10/5): Nice hotel will be back! - From the minute we came in the door we were treated as more than guests. Hotel was lovely room was lovely even got an upgrade. The breakfast was good and filled us for the day ahead. We had an evening meal as well which was lovely. Recommend the soup.

Ann (8/5): Great hotel for a stop over on route. - everything is very clean and the rooms and beds are comfortable. the only downside is the size of the en-suite as it is very small with nowhere to put your clothes or dressing gown when showering. When you sit on the toilet your knees are against the door (even me at 5' 3") and my husband is over 6' so had quite a struggle. The stafff and very friendly and helpful and the food is to die for. having thought we would only eat there on the first night we actually ate both nights is was so good.

Margaret (8/5): - We were warmly welcomed, location amazing, room very pleasant and clean. Dog was welcomed. We were not told about a beer festival being held locally. At approximately 10.30 pm people arrived back to the hotel, in the room beneath our room and had a karaoke until 1.30am. Had we had been told we would have found alternative accommodation. No apologies were forthcoming, spoilt the whole experience
Verified traveler (10/5): Very friendly, lovely village - We stayed one night, very comfy bed, big effective shower, bright room with lovely views. Evening meal and breakfast very good and tasty! Fantastic friendly staff who were very attentive despite being rushed off their feet. Only slight down comment, bed needs a bigger duvet for the size of the bed, bit of a tussle to see who got covered!
Peter (8/5): Good hotel for walkers - Excellent small rural hotel for walkers on St Cuthbert's Way. Good food, real ales and clean, comfortable bedrooms, although quite small. Friendly and helpful staff.
Sharon (10/5): Lovely Stay - Last minute stay for race trip to Kelso. Very warm and friendly, good size room, bathroom a little small, breakfast was great and also ate in bar in evening which was lovely. Would stay again if in area.
