And even talked to my 8 yr old and made him feel comfortable. And all the staff that we walked by was very friendly and asked how we were doing and if we needed anything. The breakfast was amazing. The lady putting the food out was so nice. Very comfortable beds. The room was clean and spacious. Overall great place to stay. Will be returning. The only thing was the shower needed more pressure.

Everything was clean and neat. there were plenty of towels in the bathroom. We had a microwave, a good size refrigerator, coffee maker even a dishwasher!. The room we got had a pullout sofa with a partition, which was nice. The only complaint I have is that the pillows were kind of flat and the bed was a little uncomfortable one once it was time to sleep. But the overall experience was nice. The staff was really friendly. Everything was super clean and fresh smelting. I would definitely do it again. Maybe this time I’ll bring my own pillows!

- Moe214 (10/5): Pleasantly Surprised - I have never previously stayed at a Home2 Suites by Hilton and I have to say...I was pleasantly surprised. I reserved a king suite and the room was well appointed with fridge, microwave and pull-out table that I used as a desk. The room was very spacious as was the bathroom. I never felt enclosed. The property personnel were personable and welcoming. Also, this particular property appears to have been recently updated; very pleasing on the eyes. I stayed at the property for five days and didn’t experience anything that would make me say ‘…I’ll never do this again’. For a frequent traveler, the location of the property was good with a grocery store (Kroger), fast food, and Starbucks just up the street (less than 5 min away). If needed, Walmart was about 11-15 minutes away. If there was one thing I would ‘complain’ about it would be…they must have a parking spot for every disabled person in La Porte TX and zero for Diamond members. Where is the balance LOL! If I ever find myself in La Porte TX again, I’ll definitely stay at this property and as I continue my travels, I look forward to my next stay at a Home2 Suites by Hilton.

I can say this location is at the top as far as cleanliness and overall satisfaction and value. Staff is great and knowledgeable, easy highway access to Galveston or Downtown.

- Zane (6/5): Pleasant - The bed was awful. Springs in my back the whole time. I’d recommend replacing mattresses as it’s the worst I’ve slept in.
