• ALICIA (7/5): C'était bien mais un peu déçue... - - Literie très confortable - Chambre spacieuse - Terrasse où prendre le petit-déjeuner agréable - Emplacement central dans la médina de Marrakech - Prix bien plus élevés que dans les riads du même standing aux alentours - Porte de la chambre qui ne ferme pas à clés et chambre au rez-de-chaussée directement dans la cour (très peu de lumière, vis-à-vis) - Douche difficile d'utilisation (eau chaude capricieuse, 4 robinets pour mitiger l'eau...) - Beaucoup de mouches mortes dans la chambre - A ce prix là, on aurait aimé un petit-déjeuner plus complet

• Camelia (8/5): - Khadija was very friendly and gave us great tips on visiting the Medina. The room was spacious and cleaned every day. The location was good, and most tourist spots were within walking distance (about 15–20 minutes). Breakfast was disappointing, with very little to choose from. On our final morning, we went early to have breakfast, but the staff didn’t bother serving us anything. We had to leave for our next destination without eating. Overall, I feel the place is overpriced for the value you receive.
• THOMAS (10/5): Riad au cœur de la médina à Marrakech - Très bon accueil de Khadija et de son équipe dans un magnifique riad. Le riad est très bien placé dans la médina, on peut tout faire à pieds. Les petits déjeuners sont excellents et variés. Et les dîners (proposés en supplément) préparés par Zhour sont un délice!
• Derry-Lea (8/5): Ok for 2 nights. - Tchaikana is a lovely little riad that provides a nice place to relax from the hustle & bustle of Marrakesh. The room was comfortable, the shower was hot, and the bed was very comfortable. You have go through some dark streets to get the riad. The breakfast was average; not as good as other places we stayed during our visit to Morocco. It would have been nice to have been offered eggs at breakfast. We didn't know that you could until we hear another person ask. I think the riad could be very loud because of the heavy doors to the rooms which had sliding bolts to close them. There weren't too many guests, so it was ok.
• Clare (10/5): Oasis of tranquility in the busy hubbub of Marrakech. - Really beautiful courtyard downstairs for relaxing, and then little nooks on the first floor to relax, plus the rooftop area just made this place a true oasis within some dark little streets. The rooms were comfortable and the staff were welcoming. It was just a little bit outside of the centre centre, and so wasn’t easy to bring the cases to. Bottled water would have been nice.

• Donata (9/5): Gentilezza e tranquillità - La struttura è un'oasi di pace e tranquillità nel cuore trafficato e caotico della medina. Il riad pulito e ben tenuto, il personale è meraviglioso. Un grazie particolare a Khadija che ci ha dato preziosi consigli, ci ha organizzato spostamenti in taxi e ci ha sempre prontamente risposto anche quando le abbiamo scritto dall'Italia, prima del nostro arrivo. La suite era spaziosa ed il letto davvero comodo. Curioso il fatto che non si potesse chiudere la porta della suite... comunque avevamo la cassaforte in camera. Una ragazza , collaboratrice di Khadija, ci ha anche accompagnate il primo giorno in piazza per mostrarci la strada. Colazione super! Non c'è un armadio....ci vorrebbero almeno alcuni ganci appendiabiti. Rooftop carino ma senza luci...

Recommended for any young females who are travelling - the hosts stayed awake for us until we arrived back to the Riad in the evening and checked in via text message to check we were okay on a night which we had an overnight stay on an excursion. • Slim (10/5): Location. Lovely staff and excellent breakfast - Make it better : The location was excellent but what was standing out the most was the staff! They were very kind, helpful and always smiling. I needed to do my hair for the wedding, and the weekend lady just took me to the hairdresser and waited for me, as you can get lost in the small streets in medina. She has also dropped us to the taxi in the morning of the day of our flight. The riad was very clean, and our room was also cleaned each day of our stay.

Er werd met ons naar het Jemaa el fna plein gestapt doorheen de souks zodat we onze weg zouden terugvinden naar de riad wat we ten zeerste apprecieerde. Het ontbijt was zeer lekker en gevarieerd. Mooie en rustige Riad met ideale locatie. Alsook hebben ze speciaal een ontbijt voorzien 2h voor het normale tijdstip wanneer we vroeg moesten vertrekken voor een 3-daagse trip. De matras was wat aan de harde kant. De douche liep ook niet snel weg. Voor vrouwen is een spiegel in de badkamer wel handig. De verlichting mocht ook iets sterker in de kamer.

• Erika (7/5): Over het algemeen leuk verblijf bij Riad Tchaikana. - Het personeel was erg vriendelijk en gaf steeds goede raad wanneer gevraagd. Ontvangst en vertrek was zeer goed geregeld. De kamers waren netjes. Steeds lekker ontbijt en en het avondeten op de eerste avond was zeer lekker. Het avondeten op de eerste avond was zeer laat maar dit was owv de iftar aangezien het Ramadan was waar we ook wel alle begrip voor hadden. Het was s avonds erg koud op de kamer (Maart) waardoor we niet echt gezellig konden napraten maar snel onder de dekens moesten kruipen. Ze brachten wel een extra deken op verzoek. Dus zeker warme pyjama meebrengen in dit seizoen. Het was jammer dat het dakterras niet was klaargemaakt voor de gasten.

Le personnel fut très accueillant et aidant en tout point de vue. Le Riad est très bien placé dans la médina avec un accès très facile et rapide à plusieurs lieux et visites incontournables. Tout est soigné. Les chambres sont impeccables et le ménage entier est assuré au quotidien. Le lit est très confortable et le Riad est à l’abri du bruit de la médina. Je ne saurais plus vous le recommander!!

If I had to find something it would be the funny smell in the bathroom when it rained..but it was not that important to us and we visited in January when everything was damp anyway..

• Ilaria (10/5): Consigliatissimo - Struttura accogliente nel cuore della Medina. Abbiamo apprezzato tutto: la camera, la colazione, l’hammam con massaggio e l’immancabile tè. Ottimo anche il servizio opzionale da e per aeroporto di Marrakech. Grazie a Khadija e a tutto il suo staff. Tutto bene.

La chambre était sombre et humide (traces de moisissures sur le mur). On ne peut pas utiliser le hammam librement, il faut réserver un soin avec (ce qui n’a pas été très clair).

• Matthew (6/5): Could be great, but several quirks - I appreciated the host walked me to the main square, the breakfast was very good, I liked the design of the riad courtyard, the room was sizable The location was impossible to find on your own, I sat on the bed the first day and the frame broke, the hot water in the shower typically ran out after 10-12 minutes, the rooftop was photographed with great furniture but there was none out to use the space, I asked for a receipt for my stay and was told I could get one in five days, but still have not received one which is disappointing.

• HELENA (10/5): Semplicemente Meraviglioso ❤️ - Il nostro soggiorno presso questo riad è andato oltre le nostre aspettative ! Riad è situato in una posizione strategica sia per passeggiare dentro la Medina ma anche in caso si debba prendere un taxi o/e arrivare + ripartire verso l'aeroporto. La nostra camera quadripala Kinshasa era comoda, pulita, letti+cuscini comodi. La colazione super ricca e nutriente. Abbiamo optato anche per una cena l'ultima sera e non ce ne siamo pentite: Tanjine di pollo con le verdure+dolce: è stato tutto buono da leccarsi le dita. Riad in sé e semplice ma allo stesso tempo esotico, rilassante e molto bello! Un grazie speciale va a Khadija che ci ha seguiti ancora prima di arrivare e durante tutto il nostro soggiorno. E' stata meravigliosa, umile e ci ha fatti sentire a casa ! Un grazie comunque va a tutto lo staff, la sua collaboratrice Noel ( se mi ricordo bene il nome ..scusate ), le cuoche, il taxista Karim..Fantastici ! Consiglio fortemente questo Riad !

• rudi (9/5): Het was een prachtige, verzorgde riad, met toppersoneel en de dame die ons ontving was een schat van een dame. Hadden we - Vlak in het centrum, maar toch zeer rustig gelegen. Alles was heel kort bij. Je stapte buiten en kwam terecht in de magische straatjes en het plein, waar de markt was eet en drink gelegenheden. Kan niks verkeerd zeggen..

• kamila (7/5): - Śniadania na tarasie były smaczne i ładnie i szybko podane. Pokój sprzątany codziennie, personel uśmiechnięty i zainteresowany. Pani od hammamu również była uśmiechnięta i dobrze się nami zaopiekowała. Pokój duży i czysty. Lokalizacja bardzo słaba. Ciężko trafić, trochę strach chodzić tam po zmroku. Wcześniej spędziliśmy dwie noce w innym riadzie i dotarcie może być łatwiejsze. Skorzystaliśmy z opcji kolacji (25 euro za osobę) i była smaczna, ale na pewno nie warta takiej ceny. Tym bardziej, że na mieście zjesz o wiele taniej. Wykupiliśmy również hammam i masaż w SPA (65 euro za osobę) i to również była porażka. Łóżka do masażu rozstawili w naszym pokoju, w którym przez klimatyzację było po prostu zimno. Panie masujące w ogóle nie przykładały się do masażu, razem z mamą miałam wręcz wrażenie, że jedną ręką nas dotykają, z drugą grzebią w telefonie. Moja masażystka miała katar i ciągle smarkała, w pewnym momencie usiadła na moim łóżku na którym spałam i drapała mnie jedną ręką po głowie - druga zapewne trzymała telefon. Nie polecam tam masażu. Codziennie do i po sprzątaniu nasze drzwi były szeroko otwarte (chyba żeby wietrzyć) i teoretycznie każdy mógł sobie wejść do środka albo przynajmniej patrzeć, więc trzeba mieć to na uwadze
• Dan W. (9/5): A well hidden gem - The staff were very accommodating, especially Nawal, she was very helpful. Our room was spacious and beautifully decorated.. You can enter the riad from two directions and neither is easy to find, even after the first time. A few small signs would help.

• Vishnu Shankar (10/5): Highly recommended - We had a wonderful stay at Riad Tchaikana. Khadija, Naoual, and their team were exceptional hosts who made us feel completely at home. Lovely breakfasts each morning, and Naoual even guided us through the medina on our first evening to help us get oriented. Khadija runs an excellent riad – clean, quiet, and a perfect sanctuary in the heart of the medina. She took time to explain how everything works and showed us the best routes to restaurants and cafes. The team helped with everything: taxis, booking our bus to Essaouira, laundry, and unlimited mint tea. The location is perfect – a short walk to Jemaa el-Fnaa and all major attractions. Don't miss dinner at the riad (ask in the morning). This was our best stay of the entire trip. Highly recommended, and we'll definitely return.

• Susanne (10/5): Die Unterkunft ist ein wahres Bijoux: Wunderschöner Rahmen, geführt von einer super Frauentruppe. - Mit dem Abholen am Flughafen hat alles bestens geklappt. Nach dem Aussteigen aus dem Taxi sind wir mit dem Gepäckträger ins volle Leben und das Gewusel der Gassen der Medina gestiegen, aber bald - nach zweimal Abbiegen in eine Seiten- und dann Sackgasse - an der Tür des Riad gestanden und dort in eine Oase der Ruhe, Sauberkeit und Schönheit eingetaucht. Nach dem Abstellen des Gepäcks sind wir von Khadija im Innenhof mit einer Teezeremonie und wunderbaren Knabbersachen begrüsst worden und konnten so langsam richtig ankommen. Sie hat uns auch eine Karte der Innenstadt verbunden mit wichtigen Hinweisen zu Sehenswürdigkeiten und Restaurants übergeben. - Das Zimmer Kinshasa ist ein Bijoux mit viel Charme und Stil. Die Betten sind ausgezeichnet. - Morgens zum Sonnenaufgang und Abends zum Sonnenuntergang ist die Dachterrasse mit Blick über die Häuser der Medina bis zum Atlas ein zauberhafter Aufenthaltsort. Wenn es heiss ist, bleibt es im Innenhof mit seinem Ambiente eines Palasts mit wunderschönen Handwerksarbeiten - filigrane Gipsreliefs und ornamentale Deckenmalereien - beim Geplätscher des Brunnens sehr angenehm und auf den Lounges kann man sich unter den Zitrusbäumen gut von den vielen Eindrücken in der Medina erholen. - Das Nachtessen im Riad war ausgezeichnet und ist sehr zu empfehlen. - Khadija hat uns während unseres ganzen Aufenthalts mit Rat & Tat unterstützt und wir haben die Freundlichkeit und Herzlichkeit des ganzen Personals sehr geschätzt - eine tolle Frauentruppe! Wir fühlten uns schnell wie zu Hause.

Easy to reach all points of interest. Hosts Khadijah and Nawal were outstanding in helping us get around and navigate. Good communication. It was lovely. No complaints.

• John (10/5): Exceptional - Staff friendly approachable and went out of their way to assist with restaurants and initial navigation through the Medina. The Riad eax beautifully and thankfully decorated. Very peaceful courtyard after a day out. There is nothing to dislike.
