Comodissimo perchè con pochi passi si raggiunge il porticciolo che ha negozi taverne mini market. L'host Georgia è molto disponibile, sin prima dell'arrivo ci ha guidato e abbiamo comunicato sempre via whatsapp. Punto comodo per vedere i lidi tra i piu belli di Cefalonia.

Did get very warm but the air con had the upstairs cool quickly once on. Hosts could not have been more helpful or attentive and even gave us recommendations of dinner spots elsewhere on the island. Hired a yellow boat for a day too, which was also great. Stone throw to the waterfront, loved my early morning swims Bathroom is small but functional and good water pressure. The stairs up to the bed were fine for us but could be tricky for some.

They helped us so much, we were delayed and they came especially to let us in and went out of there way to help us with other travelling issues we had. The view from my balcony was amazing to watch all the boats come in! Very clean and the maid is lovely! Nothing to dislike

We had travelled - The host was very kind but difficult to contact with some issues we had but she did give us some home made cake and marmalade to compensate 😃 There was a misunderstanding in the booking re stairs and bedding . There are also 3 different keys for access and the gate key wouldn’t work so we were locked out( in the rain) unable to contact host.

- Karina (2/5): Do not recommend, there are plenty of better price/quality stays around - Cleanliness Out of 4 options I’ve booked throughout my stay in the island this one was the most expensive (double) and the worst one. Starting from the very first connection with the host, I’ve got the impression that she wouldn’t know I was coming and her way of communication wasn’t very welcoming. Be careful with the accommodation and specifically with the check in conditions: they may charge you 20€ if you’re checking in later than 11pm. In addition, it was mentioned in the profile that the apartment is pet friendly, but lately I would receive a not very pleasant call from the owner enquiring if I had a dog with me when I was on my way from the apartment. Check out is until 11:30am, but I’ve got a door belt ringing at 11:10 with the janitor asking if I have already left. Of course, I’ve been sleeping because I was tired recovering from a late and long drive the night before. The furniture is pretty old, the A/C is broken and made a lot of noise, so I had to stay sweating there. In the morning the host also sent me reminding I should leave 1.5€ tax on the table. Gladly, I was excused, although I offered to make a bank transfer, otherwise withdrawing money to pay 1.5€ cash is not a very wise idea, everyone has included it in the price you pay initially. All in all, I really regretted I have paid that much for that few, but also pretty awkward welcoming.
- Pauline (8/5): thank you for making us feel so welcome - it was charming in an old fashioned way with masses of space and the owner/ manager was exceptionally understanding when we left the key in side the entrance door which unknown to us had an automatic lock system so they could not get in. The shower was great and the bed very comfortable the air conditioning did not reach the bedroom area and my husband could not sleep but luckily there was a third bed in the sitting room near the air con.

The staff is extremely kind and helpful, ready to answer any kind of questions. The location is perfect, in a quiet area and just a short walk from the sea and from the centre. It is an excellent starting point for visiting the main points of interest on the island. We highly recommend it.

- Alberto (9/5): The right apartment in the best location - The apartment's location is strategic to visit most of the island's best beaches and typical towns. Agia Effimia is a nice sea town full of restaurants and bars and has a really beautiful clean water, so it's perfect also for relaxing between a trip and another. Our host was very nice throughout our stay, and the cleaning was just perfect with a lady coming every day while we were out. Check-in and check-out were very easy. The house has the right dimensions for a couple and we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you very much to Giorgia for the wonderful Greek holiday we had! For me the bed was too soft, but it's a personal matter; my girlfriend found it perfect. We didn't find anything wrong in our whole stay. The only thing I can say is to make it clearer which apartment you are going to take, because the photos are from different apartments

I have no hesitation in recommending Villa Kirki to anyone. Georgia was so hospitable & nothing was too much to ask. Thanks Georgia for all your kind assistance. This little port village has all you need & all restaurants & stores are in very short walk from the apartment. Be certain to ask Georgia about Yellow boats to hire, a must do!
