• Stephen (8/5): Super friendly restaurent staff. - Super friendly staff in the breakfast room made the start to the holiday and each day a real pleasure. The room was always beautifully cleaned. The bed and pillow could have been a little more comfortable but that is personal preference. A little more coffee in the room would have been nice for the coffee in bed in the morning and at the end of the day.

The front desk had only one associate & the elder one had a very bad attitude and he gave me the room that the door lock and the safe both were broken , when I told him instead of saying sorry he was mad at me.The hallway & the breakfast area was very warm . They had a very simple breakfast and most of them were laying there in the warm room for hours, not on the ice or cooling stuff. I couldn’t even eat the breakfast, The towels are all ripped and some of them had holes too. The housekeeper staff & breakfast ladies were very nice.

• Stefan (10/5): My stay in Istanbul - Hotel is in a really good location, not only is it very close to the Grand Bazar and the Haga Sophia Mosque, but also a 3 minute walk to either the tram or the Metro. There are restaurants very close by.It's a small hotel, beds, shower etc. are absolutly fine. Breakfast is adequate, the only complaint I might have is that the coffee for breakfast was very bland and flavourless.

• Chie (8/5): - 2人で泊まったのでそれぞれにカードキーをいただけたのは助かりました。1人が疲れて帰りたいときや、バザールではぐれてしまった時など、助かると思います。 ただ、カードキーの感度が2枚ともよくなく、何度もドアにかざして成功率1割でした。 どなたかも口コミで書かれてましたが、地下鉄グリーンンライン「Vezneclier」にもT1線にも近く、主要な旧市街の見どころへ徒歩15分くらいで行けるのでとても便利でした。ただ大きくて重いスーツケースを持ってきてある方は入口の急な階段は苦労されると思います。 朝ごはんも目玉焼きやスクランブルエッグなど好みを聞いてくださって、出来立てをサービスしていただけるのはうれしかったです。 トプカプ宮殿やバシリカに入場前から並ばないといけなくて、ゆっくり食べている時間がなかったのは仕方ないですが。

• Verified traveler (6/5): Ok hotel near attractions - The stay was OK, but nothing special. With so many other options in Istambul, you may want to try a different hotel. The condition of the room, common areas, and lobby was good. The front desk staff was on average OK, but not very friendly. The ladies responsible for the breakfast and cleaning were friendly and always had a smile on their faces. Breakfast was OK, but nothing amazing. The food in Turkey can be amazing so it is a matter of incorporating some of these simple and delicious things to the breakfast to make it better. Good Turkish tea and Turkish coffee with some dried fruits, better olives, etc. can make a significant improvement. Remember the n-2 rule for stars in Turkish hotels. A 5 star ranking for a hotel in Turkey is closer to a 3 star in other areas of Europe , especially Central Europe.

• Thais (10/5): Excelente localização e hotel - O hotel está muito bem localizado na parte velha da cidade. O hotel tem um café da manhã simples, mas muito gostoso. A atendente do café da manhã é muito simpática e faz um omelete delicioso. O quarto é amplo e limpo. A única coisa é que as toalhas eram mais velhas. Teve um dia que a toalha tinha dois furos grandes, mas fora isso recomendo o hotel.
• Yakub (10/5): - Otel fiyat/performans olarak çok başarılı. Odalar ve banyo temiz, nevresimler, havlular vs. temiz. Otel çok merkezi bir yerde ve metroya/tramvaya ulaşım yürüyerek sadece 3dk. Odaların ses yalıtımı oldukça başarılı gece uyurken dışarıdan ses duymuyorsunuz. Genel olarak çok başarılı.

• Dmitrij (10/5): - Das Hotel liegt in der Nähe von der Straßenbahn und der U-Bahn. Unser Zimmer war sehr sauber und gemütlich eingerichtet. Es wäre schön, wenn die Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption etwas freundlicher wären. Ansonsten waren alle anderen sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Wir waren mit diesem Hotel sehr zufrieden.

The breakfast area is a bit small and the plates would smell like eggs sometimes but the staff was very helpful and kind. The location is great too, close to a tramway station and in a good safe area. Overall, I'd recommend this hotel :)
• Dukhaiyel (6/5): - It is shown that this hotel is 5 star hotel based on which we made our reservation. The hotel is not more than 3 stars. The location is difficult to reach, the street is narrow, the Entrance is high (you need to climb sharp stairs to reach, the lobby is small, the elevator is also so small. The people are friendly and very nice. However the general evaluation is not good.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Great Stay at Novel Hotel - Our stay at Novel Hotel was excellent! My mother and I stayed for 11 nights, and the room, bathroom, and facilities matched the photos perfectly. The shower was great, with hot water available within seconds, and the hair dryer was powerful. We also appreciated the two complimentary bottles of water and the small tea/coffee setup. What really stood out were the wonderful staff members, especially the ladies at the breakfast buffet. They were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making our mornings extra pleasant. It’s some of the best customer service I’ve experienced in Istanbul during my visits. The housekeeping staff was also kind and attentive. Even though they didn’t speak English, their warm smiles and genuine care spoke for itself. The reception staff was polite, but there’s room for improvement. Smiling more and being less bothered by requests would enhance the experience. It seems that customer service in Istanbul, especially in tourist areas, could improve overall, as well as a better understanding of English. The hotel’s location was ideal—right in the heart of everything. We walked to the Grand Bazaar, Egyptian Bazaar, and Eminönü without needing to use the tram. Public transportation (tram, bus, and metro) was just a 3-5 minute walk away, and there were plenty of stores, restaurants, and money exchange offices nearby. The room was a bit small, which is typical for hotels in the old city area. Overall, it was a great stay, and my mom was very satisfied!

Der Rezeptionist hat uns sogar für eine Nacht sein Fahrradschloss geliehen und und hat uns am nächsten Tag geholfen ein Deopt für die Fahrräder zu finden. Super Service, sehr nett und nur zu empfehlen diese Unterkunft! 5 Sterne!

• Basam (8/5): - The hotel is located at the hub of Istanbul where you could go shopping and a lot of sightseeing. The staff are accommodating and doing everything to make you feel comfortable. In terms of pricing, I think it is decent and is worth every penny you spend!

Room was cleaned and bed made every day. Breakfast was lovely with a great choice. Very quiet at night bed very comfortable. All the staff very friendly and extremely helpful. Already decided that we will be returning. Excellent hotel
• Sükrü (10/5): - Ich bin oft in Istanbul und muss erwähnen, dass Das Hotel für eine angenehme und entspannte Reise nach Istanbul die Beste Wahl war bist jetzt. Fängt an von dem ganzen Personal bis auf das komplett Packet sehr zufrieden. Einrichtung ist sehr schön, Sauberkeit super. Es wird jeden Tag gereinigt und sauber gemacht. Das Frühstück ist zu empfehlen und war sehr lecker. Das Personal ist stets bemüht und sehr freundlich. Immer hilfsbereit und bereit alle Wünsche zu erfüllen. Das Zimmer ist schön und sauber. Im großen Ganzen werde ich demnächst wieder nach hier her kommen. Danke nochmal an alles :-)

Convenient location - Walk to Havaist #12 airport shuttle bus stop and metro station Aksatay - Very short walk to T1 ( main tourist route) tram station (3min) - Within walking distance to Grand Bazzar Quiet While this place is close to many tourist attractions, it is quiet at night. Friendly and helpful Staff Free breakfast The ladies at the kitchen offer to make fresh omelet and lentil soups for us every morning. We’ll definitely come back again.

You can visit Gatata, Taksim … etc by the subway no need to take a Taxi You can us the Metro to come or go to the airport during operation time. 10/10

• Mohamed-Yahia (4/5): - During my vacation, I stayed at three hotels. Novel Hotel is the worst. It is located in a commercial noisy area. Staff pretend to be professional, but they are not. Breakfast is a joke with bad quality. The reception area small like an office. Finally, the price I paid is high relative to the other hotels.
• Maad Abid Al (10/5): - My husband and I stayed in this hotel for 6 days. Everything in this hotel was amazing. Newly renovated with beautiful interior design. Room is spacious, sparkling clean and bed is comfortable. Breakfast buffet is 4 stars needs to provide a bread toaster and cold beverages with the menu to become 5 stars. Location is perfect; very close to shopping area, transportation and restaurants. Receptionists Abdul Rahman and Fatih are super; welcoming, very friendly, helpful and on top of it they speak English. I do not hesitate to book this hotel again in the future. I really recommend this hotel for everyone.

• raja (10/5): Exceptional service - I usually don’t write reviews but the exceptional service at Novel hotel has made me bound to write a review. Everyone at the hotel were very kind and helpful, from Serhat who was always ready to give us amazing recommendations for foods when we asked. Fatih and Aysenur-Noor who were ready to help us plan our next day with a smile. They all helped us to have a wonderful sahoor during our stay (we were there during Ramadan). They were all wonderful people who truly made us feel very welcome. Their hospitality will never be forgotten and we have already started to plan our next trip which will include our children.
• Sadia (10/5): A wonderful 2 week stay - Conveniently located, close to the metro station and still within walking distance to most touristy locations. There are steps up to the hotel but the staff helped us with our bags as soon as we arrived. The lobby is spacious and clean. The rooms were clean on arrival. We stayed for 14 nights and the room was cleaned daily by a friendly housekeeping team. Breakfast had a wide selection of food so we didn't get bored with it over the course of our stay. The rooms had a functioning kettle and fridge also so we were able to make our own teas/coffees. Great waterfall shower, always had hot water.

The breakfast varied and tasteful. They offer two complimentary water bottles as well as coffee in each room. The hotel is centrally located near some great shopping for the wife. They offer 24 hour hotel shuttle for a reasonable fee.
