Located close enough to Barcelona that i's an easy transfer, but far enough that you completely remove yourself from the hussle and bussle of city life. It really is an idyllic place to visit. Bird sounds fill the day, cicada sounds fill the evening. My only comment would be the dinner menu is somewhat limited if you're there for a few nights - there's options but my partner is vegetarian and found it somewhat limited.

Em nenhum momento perguntaram o motivo da nossa viagem, quais o nosso interesse na região etc. Por se tratar de um hotel dentro de uma vinicola, nem perguntaram se queríamos conhecer ou degustar seus vinhos. Faltou engajamento da equipe e amor pelo trabalho. Unica funcionaria que merece destaque é a que serve o café da manhä

• Norman (10/5): An exceptional hotel in a fascinating location. - The rooms are extremely well furnished and comfortable and the staff are very welcoming without being "de trop". The dinner, which has been very good on our previous visits, this year was exceptional. The wi-fi in our room was very poor, probably because of the thick walls and the distance from the main building. The hotel needs to look at installing extenders. The selection of the breakfast buffet and the cooking of the breakfast dishes did not match the other meals.

• Keith (5/5): Good, but overrated and overpriced. - Staff very polite and approachable Food is good but far from michelin star which they claim. We had 3 meals and 2 were good. Four of our party had a massage which wasnt very good at all. we reported the issues we had to the reception who then called the owner. He then ranted at us about how he wasnt removing anything from the bill and stormed off. For reference we never asked for any deduction from the bill, we just wanted to make them aware of the issues we had. The staff were very apologetic about the owners behaviour. Its a shame as the location is great but the reality is that this place is not as good as it makes out.

• Terence (6/5): Everything is nice except so disappointed with the wine tasting. - The ambience is relaxing and the surroundings are raw and pure and beautiful The wine tasting must be avoided. Charge €20 per head but try 4 low end wines with very tiny pour. The lady who guide the tour is so superficial and lack of knowledge about wines and talk like robots. She cant really address your questions, not talking about answering . The wine making tour is short and amateur. The entire duration end in around an hour. Comparing with so many other wine tastings in Priorat, this one is a visitors trap.

At checkout, there was a small issue between Expedia and the hotel and we were charged for two breakfasts. No big deal but annoying considering the amount of $ we have spent.

• Denys (7/5): My stay was mostly wonderful, thanks to the tranquil setting and friendly staff, but it could have been perfect if not f - The hotel is wonderfully located—quiet, peaceful, and just right for a relaxing getaway. The staff are genuinely friendly and add to the warm, welcoming atmosphere. I was also impressed with the exceptional design and furniture around the property; it really complements the natural beauty. The surrounding mountains and vineyards add a special charm, making it feel like a little slice of paradise. As a guest aiming for a five-star experience, it appears the hotel is currently more aligned with a four-star rating. During my stay, I encountered a few areas in need of improvement. The bedside lamp in my room was broken, and the service at the pool was underwhelming—I experienced a significant delay of 75 minutes waiting for a club sandwich. Additionally, one of the pool umbrellas was faulty. Also, the food occasionally was overly salted, which was noticeable. Addressing these issues could greatly enhance the overall guest experience.

The setting is incredible against the mountainous backdrop. Our room was sizeable and very well designed. The pool area lovely as was the restaurant, whether that was the large terrace or inside. We also took the wine tasting experience, which was great. Locally the monastery well worth a visit at Cartoixa d'Escaladei & the second day we drove up to La Morera de Montsant and went hiking up towards the cliff edges - spectacular. Nothing! we were unfortunate to have a water issue but it only lasted a few hours, literally can't fault this hotel. Beautiful.
