• Marta (10/5): - Great location in the center of Malaga old town. A little loud at night, so earplugs would be handy for anyone sensitive to noise. Everything, including the beach is located within 15 minute walk so super convenient. The cafe downstairs is first class and staff are very friendly. The room is clean and nicely decorated, not massive but comfortable. There is no lift, so not ideal for anyone with mobility issues. Bag storage is available, which works really well. Overall a great place :)

• Caroline (10/5): - This was a last minute late night booking and I was so pleased with the rate and the double room for 3 nights. The room was at the top of the building with en-suite and large terrace. It was very peaceful despite being a few steps away from a beautiful and busy square with lots of restaurants and shops. The hostel had a cafe which had affordable and delicious breakfasts and staff were always pleasant and helpful. I would go back.
• John (10/5): - We had a wonderful stay at Picnic Dreams. We stayed on the top floor with the terrace and it was perfect. Location couldn’t be better. You are right in the heart of the city Centro and we easily walked to dinner and drinks. Staff was so nice and attentive. When we come back to Malaga we will definitely be staying at Picnic Dreams again!
• Katja (10/5): Skønt lille sted - Skønt lille sted tæt ved Plaza de la Merced. Der står godt nok hostel, men jeg synes nu mere, jeg vil kalde det et hotel. Vi havde en dejligt værelse med velfungerende aircondition og lille terrasse. SKØNT! Det er super hurtigt at komme fra hotellet og til en masse lækre restauranter og kulturelle oplevelser. Jeg kommer gerne igen.
• Daniela (8/5): - Super zentrale Lage an einem herrlichen kleinen Platz mit vielen Restaurants! In eine Richtung kommt man direkt in die Einkaufspasse und in die andere Richtung kommt das Bar- und Clubviertel. Beides keine 5 min. zu Fuß. Zum Strand sind es ca. 20 min. Die Unterkunft hat sehr kleine Zimmer und kaum Ablageflächen für Klamotten oder Badartikel. Dafür ist das Bett super bequem und es gab im April sogar eine richtig dicke Bettdecke. Wir hatten ein Zimmer ganz oben mit riesiger Aussenterasse, das war traumhaft! Das einzig negative, das wir bewerten sind die Putzfrauen, die einfach schon um 7 Uhr morgens anfangen Türen zu knallen, lautstark im Flur zu telefonieren und Möbel zu rücken. Da das Haus sehr hellhörig ist, war hier ohne Oropax an Schlaf nicht zu denken. Das Kaffee unten muss man noch besonders hervorheben, hier bekam man ausgezeichneten Kaffee (auch mit Sonderwünschen) to go aufs Zimmer, aber auch ein super Frühstücksangebot für wenig Geld. (wir haben 10 € bezahlt für Kaffee, O-Saft, Toast mit Avocado und Lachs, sowie einer Jogurth/Obst Mischung.

• Annette Qvist (6/5): Nice stay close to the center of town - Nice stay in a very comfortable place very close to the central shopping area, and very close to good restaurants and the old town. Relatively small room, but sufficiant for a couple of days stay. However, parking is a problem, as it is difficult to find a normal space to park in the streets, and you have to park in parking house a long way away from the hotel.

• Bernadette (10/5): We love this little hotel - We love staying at this hotel - the location is fabulous - the staff are welcoming and accommodating for different times of arrival etc - it is spotlessly clean and stylish interior - we didn’t get chance to have breakfast because we were in a hurry so we bought croissants from the hotel coffee shop to take away - the food/cakes are home made. We will definitely stay here again - thank you to the team at picnic dreams hotel 🙏

Staff was super friendly and helpful, the room was very clean, it is a small room so there is not a lot of storage space, but the outdoor terrace is huge. Location is amazing for exploring the city. Would highly recommend.
• Siv (8/5): Bra vistelse - Bra vistelse för några nätter. Centralt och nära till allt. Toalett och dusch var minimal men fungerade. Terrass som ingick i rummet var med höga murar runt så ingen utsikt utåt!

• Maria (2/5): Malaga-July 2023 - The room and the location were alright. However, my experience was terrible because of the following: -One of the two beds had bed bugs that have bitten my friend -We found a cockroach -The bathroom was always smelling terrible from the drains, even if we also tried to leave the balcony door of the bathroom open -The shower was extremely small that you could barely do the necessary moves in order to wash yourself -The shower head was broken with a result to spray water outside of the shower and ending up with a pond after a shower -Some of the towels and the bed sheets provided were either ripped or dirty -The window doors wouldn't be sound proof so you could hear the noise from the bars opposite of the hotel (mostly a problem for Fridays and Saturdays that they were busy) -There were no washing lines in the balcony, so we used the balcony rails to leave our towels dry. However, the balcony rails were rusty and ruined our personal towels. The service was nothing special but okay. Overall, a bad experience considering the cleaning and bug issues we had

• Almudena (4/5): - El hotel es modesto y digno pero la calle no puede ser más ruidosa y las habitaciones no están aisladas acústicamente. Hasta que no cerró el último bar no pudimos dormir y en mitad de la noche nos despertaron gritos desde la calle. Por otro lado la escalera es una caja de resonancia y dentro de la habitación se escucha amplificado todo lo que ocurre fuera. Pésimo para descansar. Lo mejor ha sido el personal que es encantador y la cafetería, sirve unos desayunos estupendos

God aircondition, lille men godt privat badeværelse. Lille terrasse i baggård uden udsigt, og der var også en lille fælles tagterrasse. Manglede lidt opbevaringsplads, men udemærket til prisen og i gå afstand fra bymidten. Gode spise og drikke muligheder tæt på. Kun trapper, ingen elevator. Rengøring var ok, men kunne godt have været lidt mere grundig, ellers var servicen fin og søde ansatte. God morgenmad mod betaling. Egner sig godt til et par dage i Malaga.

No space in toilet to put any stuff and I struggled to take a shower, because the shower cabin is really tiny. There is a bar downstairs, so it might be a bit noisy until midnight. The staff was nice and welcoming.

• Gloria (2/5): Muy ruidoso - El hostel esta bastante bien pero la calle en la que está, es zona de bares con gente hasta muy muy tarde.. mucho ruido en la habitación, las ventanas no cierran bien y ha sido muy incomodo, el personal muy atento pero deben planearse insonorizar las ventanas.

• Denice (4/5): Skuffende - Skuffende oplevelse. Stedet var ok i sig selv, men servicen var ret passiv aggressiv og vi måtte ikke få nye håndklæder selvom der var gået næsten 3 døgn. Sengen var også forfærdelig hård og døren var umulig at åbne og lukke - den skulle også låses med nøgle inde fra. Vi kommer helt sikkert ikke igen, selvom placeringen var god.

• Marianne (8/5): - Vi havde et dejligt ophold i Malaga . Vores værelse var lille men fint , moderne og rent . Der var ikke varmt vand i håndvasken og bruse kabinen meget lille men det gik fint det hele 😄 Vi vil meget gerne komme igen da beliggenheden var perfekt og man følte sig virkelig velkommen . Vi tog bus fra lufthavnen til centrum og gik resten af vejen til hotellet så det var nemt at komme frem . Tak for et dejligt ophold 😊

• Verified traveler (8/5): Prima kamer! Midden in de stad Malaga. - Voor een hostel helemaal prima. Kamer was net en ruim. Enige nadeel was het geluid, het was erg gehorig. Ik sliep dan ook aan de straatkant en bij het trappen gat. Ik hoorde van buiten en beneden erg veel geluiden. Voordeel is wel dat alles echt op loopafstand was! Kom je voor de rust dan zou ik een andere locatie kiezen.

Cela mérite d’etre Annonce clairement dès le départ pour prendre sa décision en toute connaissance de cause ... ce qui n’etait Pas le cas pour nous ...d’ou La déception ... Par ailleurs endroit bien central mais très bruyant difficile de dormir avant 2 heures du matin....

• John (10/5): Stop searching, Book this one! - I booked this one after a lot of searching for accommodation in Malaga & was not disappointed. We stayed for a romantic break as part of a multi location trip in Spain and this was up there with the best of them. En suite, private room for two on the top floor, with our own private, secluded patio area.
