• Sinead (8/5): Nice place, a few tweaks and it would have been perfect - I loved the underfloor heating, the decor, the space, the comfy bed and couch, good storage, nice sized fridge, privacy, the particular area of Glasgow was nice, it was lovely that coffee, tea, sugar, pepper, salt and biscuits was left as well as things like cleaning materials. The place in general was very clean aside from the windows which were difficult to see through, but that appears to be due to building works going on down the road. I liked that customer service were quick to email back to any questions I had. It was a very nice modern apartment with a Scandi feel to it. We couldn’t work out how to change the heating temperature, this was okay on the first two days as it was cold outside, the thermostat was set to 28-29 degrees and we opened the windows to cool the room down. Each day we tried twisting the dial as per instructions to 22 however it didn’t change the temperature and on the last day the temperature went up to over 30 and it wasn’t comfortable and it was sunny outside so the temperature was intense. As it was the last day and we were checking out, I didn’t email but I think a service person needs to check that out in room 206. The batteries in the remote control are about to go, you need to stand right beside the tv and press a few times. There is no frying pan, I like to have an omelette for breakfast. For my husband who’s tall and not so slim, the bath was too narrow, however for me, it was grand. We paid for a late check out at 1pm, however at noon, I received an update that my key had been switched off. If we’d gone out that morning to the shop or something else, we would have been locked out of the apartment on our return, the key should be active until 1pm.

Then she INSISTED the entry was across from the church and was insulting that I was to stupid to understand her direction…. Only to find out from another guest it was NOT across from the church but around the corner.

• Tracy (10/5): Great stay, would definitely use again. - The apartment was much bigger than expected. It had everything needed. The kitchen was well equipped. Great location for the city centre. Communication with Premier Suites was really good. I have already looked to see where else Premier Suites operate and definitely book with them again. I hadn't received entry details by check in, but this was rectified really quickly and all was smooth.
• Lisa (8/5): great apartment if it is cleaned in advance. ours had not been due to a mixup with housekeeping - The apartment was huge and the bathrooms were great. It was centrally located and very reasonably priced. The building has a code to enter and you use an app to get into your room so no need to keep track of keys. It was difficult reaching management when we initially entered the room we were booked into because the room was a complete, unclean mess. It turns out the housekeeper hadn't showed up and it still had everything left over from the previous guest (dirty dishes, dirty sheets, dirty towels, etc.). This shocked us. Getting a person on the phone to discuss this with was not easy. Ultimately they were able to switch us to another room, but that was on the first floor which was definitely much noisier. They contract out the housekeeping. This is something they should have checked before a new guest enters. In addition, the room safe didn't work as it was out of batteries.

• Geraldine (7/5): Comfortable central location - It was very central so easy to access the tourists attractions. The apartment was clean and generally well set out for self catering. Was disappointed that the apartment wasn’t set out for my child as requested in advance. I discovered whilst there that there were bigger one bedroom apartments with a bedroom that would have accommodated the foldout bed rather than having to place in the living/kitchen area. This had a knock on effect on our comfort in the evening. Needed another chair too as there were 3 of us. Would have liked more cleaning equipment and products especially with a child staying.

We were locked out of the parking and lost our disabled space, we couldn't contact any staff to let us in and my husband had to walk round and into the building at the front and then into the car park and fortunately was able to set off the opening device to open the shutters and let us in, all spaces were taken and we had to park in the cleaners area. This was very unsettling for my disabled elderly mum.

TV didn't get any BBC channels and itv/Stv was intermittent. Smoke alarm batteries needed replacing but didn't get any response from out of hours. Very high ceilings so unable to reach them.

A bit of noise from surrounding flats during the night but that can't be helped as there was soundproofing. We didn't hear the traffic at all, just music from the flat above. Ear plugs were needed.

Disappointing regarding the random access key disabling - In the middle of my stay my access key was just suddenly removed at 11PM without any reason or changes to booking. This was highly inconvenient and unsafe. However the team were very responsive when called on the emergency number and the issue was sorted within about 35mins.

• Kelly (9/5): All in all a very pleasant stay in a clean and spacious apartment. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again if the mobil - Very close proximity to the Kings Theatre which was the purpose for our stay. Very clean and comfortable and staff very helpful with the problems getting the mobile key! No mirrors in the bedrooms which made it very difficult to use hairdryers or hair straighteners and no plug points near a mirror. The app to get the mobile key didn’t work and we spent an awful lot of time and numerous emails between ourselves and the staff trying to sort the problem. They ended up having to give us a key card which worked fine but it would have been a huge problem if it was outwith reception hours.

• Karen Moodie (8/5): - Spacious, quiet and next door to the theatre. The bed was comfy A bit of delay getting the key as I didn't receive the email with instructions. Made a quick call and was sorted within minutes. The bed kept moving, needs locks for the wheels.

There was a ‘toilet’ smell when I first entered the flat and it took a while to get rid of it. The coffee machine leaks very easily. Could do with a hot water warning on the kitchen hot water tap, it’s practically boiling within seconds of having it on.

The location was excellent for getting around Glasgow, and the facilities were well maintained and easy to use. Nothing in particular. The stay met my expectations and everything worked as it should.

• Donna (8/5): - The apartment was very close to all the shops, restaurants etc. It was clean and had all the utensils you could need, including coffee tea bags sugar and equipment for cooking and cleaning. Tv channel.selection very good too. Rooms were very warm in morning and the bedroom door could have done with a stopper to keep open to let cool air flow through. Having to pay a deposit of £250 is a bit steep in my opinion. Also having to use mobile phone as a key was not something I like as anything can happen to a phone.

Customer service was brilliant, speaking to reception based at George square, they couldn’t have helped enough. Nothing major but worth noting two points. Early check in was requested, minimal conversation about getting in as soon as the room was available. The temperature upon arrival was very cosy. I will say we had to switch off all radiators etc 27 degrees in the apartment. Maybe don’t set the heating temperature as high next time. 23 is warm enough.

• Carla (7/5): Spacious apartment, handy to the theatre - Apartment was good - very spacious, great having two bathrooms, comfortable beds. We were attending the theatre, which was only a block down the road, so the location was spot on. Easy drive to the airport in the morning. Checking in was a bit of a nightmare. There was no-one on reception, and had to provide an email address - was told they were sending two emails, one with a link to download an access app, the other with the information about the apartment. 25 minutes later, no emails, so had to call again, and they said would resend. Got one email with the link to the app, which they said would access the garage as well as the room. Downloaded the app, but could not access the garage. Rang again, and they said they would reset the app. Got given access to the garage - phone had to be held at a very specific angle for it to work. Took the lift up only to discover we couldn't find our room number. Rang again, to be told we had to go around the corner to another entrance - 'it's in your email' - which I still hadn't received. Finally got to the room - again, getting the angle of the phone to get into the room was tricky. Still hadn't received second email, so rang again, and they ended up sending it via WhatsApp. Very frustrating! In the apartment, all internal doors close automatically which doesn't sound like a big deal but was a pain - would be a hassle if you were a family with small children.
