Sargent (8/5): - Loved the staff. When I checked in Robert I believe is who checked us in, we arrived about 11 and my oldest got sick about 5am due to the change of altitude. I called up there and he got us a basket to put away the dirty laundry, got us new sheets, towels, vacuum and spray to cancel out the smell. I was not able to see him again. But it was very helpful and wanted to say Thank you. The room was big and spacious beds are comfy, the kitchnette area came in clutch The water pressure is so hard- it was good for hair washing but washing your body felt like it was the ripping my skin off. Also heavy barn doors are no bueno. Couldn't shut all the way and the handle was broken. Wish there was better lighting than just the lamps

Veronica (10/5): - The location was perfect for all we wanted to do during our stay..Many restaurants close by to choose from. There is a bar and dinner options at the hotel. We didn't try it. The staff were very polite and helpful. The facility was clean and organized. Our room with the kitchenette was great. Had everything we needed. There is a grocery store just down the road. Beds were probably an 8 out of 10 for comfort. Free hot breakfast was fantastic. Many things to choose from each day, can get it to go if needed. Free parking a huge plus on a budget. The pool was basic but clean. Nice outdoor sitting and BBQ area connected to it. Close enough to the airport for our early morning flight. I would definitely stay again if in the area. Safe area, Perfect for me & my daughters stay. The only negative is probably the the toiletries. I usually bring my own anyway. These are super tiny bottles, hard to use and a waste for plastic usage The bathroom door was a little noisy. Its on rollers, so if your a light sleeper and someone uses the bathroom at night, seems kinda loud. But it's definitely worth staying here.

Unfortunately, the couch in the room was not really a couch, more like a lounging couch, with only a partial back and only one armrest. We really needed a place for both of us to sit and rest and read.
Nita (9/5): One of the nicer Best Westerns - We were pleasantly surprised at the nice decor in the room and the comfort level, plus a decent breakfast selection. The surrounding area wasn’t particularly attractive but the location was convenient for getting around the town. Everything was fine.

Elisa (9/5): - Spacious room, loved having the kitchenette which was well stocked, and the bathroom was quite nice and clean as well (with fluffy towels!). Staff were attentive, the beds were very comfortable, and breakfast was tasty with nice choices (except the French Toast sticks -- make a waffle instead!). It was easy to sign into Netflix and Amazon to watch a movie. We didn't go to the pool so no comment on that. Location was good for driving to Garden of the Gods, Manitou Springs and Pikes Peak. We would come back to this hotel and highly recommend it! On arrival about 1pm, too soon to check in, the person at reception assigned our room and said we had a choice of kitchenette room on the first or fourth floors -- first floor facing the highway or fourth floor facing a retaining wall, and no mountain views. Actually, our 4th floor room we checked into later that day was at least 2 stories above the retaining wall and we could see the mountains above the hill and rooftops. Thank goodness we made that choice. I wonder who is doing the training and whether they have actually been in the rooms! Also, we had a chipped glass and a few dishes weren't properly cleaned, but housekeeping replaced those within 10 minutes of my call, with many apologies. Everything else was spotless, so the excellent customer service overall made up for that blip.

Jody (6/5): Decent hotel, hate extra fees. - The property was clean. I liked that a hotel like this actually had a bar (although it could use some music and more ambiance). It was good to have a security guard in the parking lot during the night as this is not the best part of town. The beds were fine, but not super comfortable. Our blind was not flush with the window, so a lot of light came in early. We only had one light blanket on the bed, something heavier, or at least extras would have been appreciated. Lastly, we were charged for a requested late checkout, which I find ridiculous. That alone is a future deal breaker for a stay.

Anna (10/5): nice and quiet! - First of all, the check-in experience was smooth. The young woman at the desk was polite and friendly. Second, the room was very comfortable and the bed was awesome. The pillows---let's just say I ordered some for my home! The breakfast had many choices, thank you. It was a very clean, quiet room (#407). I did ask for an ADA bathroom--it was roomy and it had bars on the wall for stability, however I would have preferred a shower stall, roll in. Unfortunately it had a bathtub but complete with a seat and plenty of bars.

Crow (8/5): great place for a family with a small dog - convenient location and a good breakfast, the pet policy is great and the room was comfortable and clean and the staff was very friendly. Easy access to I-25 if you can figure out the weird concept at Fillmore. not best westerns fault, but a view of the mountains would have been nice.
