Despite informing of flight times and when I was leaving the airport and estimated arrival time had to wait 1.20 minutes before getting keys to the apartment. It is the only thing that I could fault. Would suggest they put key safe at the entrance to Lido Sol.

Parking ciasny ale zawsze mieliśmy miejsce przy budynku (parking za szlabanem), a w tym mieście to wyjątkowo cenny atut. Na dole odpowiednik biedronki więc z podstawowymi zakupami nie było problemu. Zaplecze ścisłego centrum, ale bardziej spokojnie.Będziemy polecać.

• Daria (10/5): A great option for active recreation by car, with private parking and a supermarket. - This is a brilliant accommodation option for those who plan to actively explore the island by car: there is private parking nearby, and we always parked our car there. Right in the building, there is a supermarket with everything you need, as well as fresh food. It's the perfect place to grab breakfast at 8 a.m. (since most cafes open after 9 a.m.) and pick up a tasty dinner. There is also a delicious restaurant nearby, Corner 205, with delicious fish! The apartments themselves are very cozy, with everything you need in the kitchen, all the amenities, and a gorgeous view of the ocean. I highly recommend these apartments :)
• Iryna (10/5): Amazing ocean view, convenient location and great value for money - The apartment has an amazing location and ocean view, that was the main reason why we chose this place but in the end absolutely everything about this accommodation was perfect - amenities, washing machine, kitchen supplies including washing liquid and paper towels, salt, sugar, olive oil, tea/coffee (things that you need but can’t buy just a little amount of for your short stay), private parking, digital guide provided by the host with all the details about the apartment, check-in/out and recommendations what to do on the island and of course our helpful hosts who made our stay extra easy and pleasant.

• lionel (7/5): Trop de bruits et d’odeurs sur la terrasse - La vue, le parking, l’ascenseur pour le 6e étage, le supermarché juste dessous L’appartement est situé au Lido, dans la ville touristique : il y a beaucoup de bruits ( voitures, plaque d’égout qui claque et climatisations de restaurant ), il était impossible pour nous de profiter la terrasse. De plus, les odeurs de nourriture dues au restaurants sont très présentes et ce, dès le matin. Comme l’appartement n’est pas climatisé, vous ouvrez les baies vitrées toute la journée… A notre grande surprise, il manquait une alèse sur le matelas…qui est un peu mou et vieillissant…

• Maksim (9/5): Отличный вариант для отдыха. - Прекрасные апартаменты. В этом же здании есть продуктовый магазин. Недалеко до комплекса Лидо (бассейны с морской водой). Посуда в разнообразии, техника тоже. Все рабочее. Форум Мадейра находиться в 600-700 метров.
• Matthieu (5/5): - Appartement bien situé, tout équipé et spacieux. Personnel très réactif. Place de parking disponible et supermarché à proximité ce qui est un vrai plus. Un peu excentré (50 min de marche) mais très agréable. La terrasse et la vue sont un vrai plus. -Serrure cassée (nous sommes restés bloqués dans l’appartement plus d’une heure). -Chasse d’eau cassée qui coule continuellement -Draps de mauvaise qualité qui avaient mal séchés (forte odeur d’humidité des oreillers) -Objet bloqué dans la prise électrique au chevet du lit qui conduisait le courant : j’ai pris le jus. -Le contact booking n’est pas très agréable par message lorsque qu’on prononce une plainte et demande si un dédommagement est possible au vu de la gêne occasionnée. Aucune explication ou reponse donnée en revanche une menace de "report" sur la plateforme. Au prix du logement, la qualité est largement en deçà de ce qu’elle devrait être. Le contact sur booking et la quantité de message automatique reçu contraste énormément avec la gentillesse et l’amabilité du personnel gérant l’accueil et le séjour.

• Anastasiya (4/5): Apartment 610: It was a relief to leave. - Pros: - Carolina was very kind, helpful and responsive. She tried to help with ants in the apartment quickly. More on that below. - Ocean view is amazing. It's always great to have a meal with such a gorgeous view. - Location is very good: restraints, convenience stores, grocery shops, public transportation stops, car rental offices, beaches. All is within suitable reachability. - Diverse kitchen appliances: enough of things to operate in the kitchen. Cons: - Ants in the apartment. That was the most unpleasant surprise out of all. They were crawling all the way from a bathroom to a kitchen counter. Some of the foods were ruined by them. You're constantly playing hide-and-seek to save your fruits and vegetables. The ants trap placed by apartment assistant didn't work very well so the ants were still present. - Floor is dirty. It feels like the mop has met the floor a long time ago. If you stand still for some time and then move your leg, you feel how it's glued to the floor. Your socks are being ruined within 2-3 minutes of walk. - Bathroom has a poor ventilation thus it develops unpleasant smell even if the door is left wide open. - Shower cabin has its silicone in a poor condition. It's mouldy, dirty, unpleasant to see. The floor in the cabin is slimy and slippery. - Water pressure in the entire apartment is very low. You can do your dishes but when you return after a beach day covered in multiple layers of a sunscreen you're in a big trouble. It's impossible to normally remove all of the daily buildups from your body with that sprinkling shower. On top of that, if you're more than a single person, you'll most probably be waiting while an inner apartment's boiler refills and reheats after the first person is finished with bathing. - Towels were smelly and dirty. The longer you use them, the more they smell even with proper drying. - Parking is tough. Even if you're lucky enough to catch a free spot, you're leaving there your soul maneuvering in extremely tight space. Plus, there's a trash removal spot and a shop unloading bay were big trucks are constantly moving increasing anxiety if your rented vehicle is going to be the same as you've left it yesterday in the evening.

• Maria (8/5): Very enjoyable and comfortable stay - Very friendly incheck. We could check in earlier. Location and view very good. Large apartment. Quiet. Right next to a good grocery store. Nice to have a washing machine. Balcony. Near a bus stop which take you to central Funchal. One must pay cash on the bus; card payment not possible. Brand new white towels. Parking spaces in the street were readily available and cheap during the day, free at night. Parking in the alloted parking was not always available and the parking spaces are very tight. We had to park in the street two of the five nights we were there. Price of the accomodation is a little bit high especially the cleaning fee of €70. Low water pressure in shower.

The only thing that was not so good was the smell that sometimes the bathroom had, we know that is a building structure thing but sometimes it was very unpleasant.

I would definitely use Lucas Holiday Rental for future rentals, the staff was great. The water pressure in the apartment for bathing and dish washing was dismal. 🫤

• John (6/5): Pleasant - We had a balcony overlooking the sea. There is a supermarket with deli next door, and restaurants, shops and bars all within a five minute walk. The weather was great too. The area is not as charming as the Old Town area and was a bit quiet (which was understandable as it was off season in November).

Vattentrycket kunde vara bättre, lite bristfällig köksutrustning (glas och koppar). Tvättmaskin ett stort plus. Bra fördel med butik som har nybakat bröd. Ett bra utbud av restauranger i närheten.

• Rovana (9/5): Superb - The location was quite good - a supermarket right near the entrance door, near the bus station, near some very good restaurants, also the view was extraordinary! The room had quite everything we needed, including coffee caps for the expresser, and detergent pads for the washing machine! The toilet was leaky. Meaning that you could hear water constantly dripping in the bathroom. It's true that if you were sleeping in the bedroom, you couldn't hear it, but our kid slept on the couch in the living room, and there you could hear it!

• Xiaowei (6/5): - The location is probably the only thing that is worth mentioning. The building is very old and everything is the department is poorly maintained. There a a few restaurants right underneath and you will be bathed with cooking smells pretty much 24x7 (we were on the 6th floor and can’t imaging how much worse on lower floors). Parking is ridiculous and you need a lot of help from your friends to get in and out.

• Jason (8/5): Comparable Airbnb - I love that the property was within walking distance to the beach, restaurants, grocery store (is downstairs of the apartment) and the forum mall was 10 minutes walk. The view from the apartment was spectacular and the price for the apartment was comparable. Parking lot was a bit small that’s part of the apartment. you have to dispose your own trash. the bathroom had a smell. we didn’t receive much paper towels or napkins. I arrived at 2pm which is checkin time but couldn’t get into the apartment until 2:30pm as cleaning staff was still cleaning, and the apartment smells like bleach. I requested a late checkout and they couldn’t accommodate me due to late checkin .

There are shops, supermarkets and restaurants around, so you can get anything you need. The water pressure in the bathroom is very little (not in the control of the owner of course)

• David (8/5): Nice apartment in a brilliant location supported by a superb host - Nice apartment in an ideal location to explore Funchal and the wider island. The balcony with a sea view was a major selling point - lovely place to start the day with a coffee and end it with a G&T! Nice restaurants and bars close by but never noisy at night. Carolina met us with the keys and was very accommodating as we were two days late due to high winds preventing landings at the airport - we found Carolina to be very friendly, helpful and efficient - her communication prior to arrival was excellent and she followed up with us afterwards to provide information on restaurants and things to do. Overall the apart was nice and met our expectations but the decor could do with a refresh in some places with marks on the walls here and there. The cushions on the balcony furniture could do with being replaced. These however, are minor niggles and didn’t detract from our stay.
• Hana (8/5): Very good - The apartment is well appointed, located within easy walking distance of the ocean and bus stops plus it is right above a supermarket. It is rather noisy at night and parking the car in the parking lot was a challenge.

Comfortable and spacious apartment in a really good location, spotless clean, very well equipped for a longer stay. Big balcony with a nice ocean view. We've had a fantastic stay, felt like a home away from home, couldn't ask for more! Obrigada! P.S. The water pressure of the shower is absolutly fine, I don't get it why so many people complain about it 😉

Supermarket in the same building on the ground floor. A bit noisy from the road near the house. I had to close the window at night.

• Viktorija (9/5): Superb - The apartment is ideally located on the island of Madeira. There are many restaurants nearby, there is a shop at the bottom of the building where we found everything we needed. The apartments themselves are cozy and tidy, we feel like at home. There is everything you need for a longer stay. The view from the balcony is amazing. The owner is extremely nice, shared great tips. Thank you and we highly recommend these apartments for a holiday here. The price really matches the quality. The water pressure in the shower is poor, but it didn't cause us much inconvenience, washing is possible. We had a problem with the parking remote, it didn't work well.
• Jennie (9/5): Delightful one bed apartment with fabulous sea views - Excellent location. Lovely and clean. Good layout of the apartment. Fabulous view. Kitchen was easy to use - I was delighted that there was a box of the 'little things' to ease cooking - oils, vinegar, condiments, herbs and spices. Lovely balcony where I had all of my meals and I did some remote work looking out to sea. Supermarket on the ground floor was a bonus as I like to cook. The bed was not as comfortable as it could have been. I could feel the springs. A new mattress or a mattress topper would make a huge difference.

• Paweloo85 (9/5): Great stay - Excellent location. Everything was really close, nearest restaurants had great food. Cherry on top: Pingo Doce right downstairs. House was clean. Host was super helpful and kind. Water pressure was terrible.
• Julie (7/5): We enjoyed our holiday in Funchal - the apartment is central - The location of this apartment is in the Lido tourist area of Funchal. There is a supermarket (Pingo Doce) directly beneath the apartment block, and a good choice of shops, restaurants, and gardens in the local area. A shopping forum is a short walk away if you don't mind walking uphill - or a bus service is available. Lido Tours have a booking office close to this apartment, with a choice of daily walks and other activities if you want to visit other parts of Madeira with a guide - transport is provided. The tour bus can be found a short walk from the apartment - this is good for seeing Funchal and helps get your bearings between Lido and the old town - and surrounding areas
• Stefanie (9/5): Perfect place to explore Madeira - Location, attention, and view were superior. Very well equipped, nice towels and sheets. Great balcony and great kitchen to prepare small meals and snacks. Free Parking right at the building a huge plus!
• Charles (8/5): Great unit in a great location - Nice location with a great view. Lucas Able stayed in communication with us until we got to the unit. We were met at our bus stop and taken to our apartment. The property was well equipped. There is a washer and fan if it gets warm. The building does have an elevator as the unit is on the 7th floor. There is a supermarket next door and several restaurants in the area. It would be nice to have an AC as it can get warm

• Adam (9/5): Very good location with a great oceanview. - Great view, great location, private parking (but not private spot), clean. In that apartment you will find everything (iron, washmashine also). In the summer when the temperature is over 20'c at night you have to open windows in bedroom and in that case you should be ready for a noise from the roads. Get earplugs with you.
• David (10/5): Great apartment, good location, excellent holiday - Great apartment and location - we enjoyed relaxing on the terrace overlooking the sea. Plenty of restaurants in the vicinity if you don't want to walk into central Funchal. Nothing - all great
