The breakfast was not included but we find the croissants and some sweets every day :) The location - it was far from the city centre to go on foot and the public transport is unreliable and never on time. We had a big stress when we go to airport - no buses and no taxi available 🙏

• Dessislava (7/5): Für 2-3 Nächte weg von den Klischees von Rom ist fine - Sympathisch gelegen zwischen Villen im Norden Roms, ruhig und friedlich in der Nacht, sauber, Personal sehr freundlich, Preis-Leistung gut Tagsüber recht laut durch die Nähe zur Schule, etwas abgelegen vom Zentrum, altes Haus und Einrichtung aber liebevoll gepflegt, Toilettenspülung etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig.

• Belinda (5/5): Außen hui, innen pfui! - Die Lage war gut, eine tolle Gegend, die uns von der Architektur, den Gärten und der Ruhe gefallen hat. Auch das Haus Matilde macht von außen viel her, was aber innen nicht mehr der Fall ist. Heißwasserbereiter im Zimmer für meinen britischen Mann - lächel! Frühstück wird nicht angeboten, es gibt ein paar eingepackte Zwiebacks und Nutella. Aber kein Messer und nur 1 Tasse für ein Doppelzimmer. Die Möbel im Zimmer sind wirklich alt, aber nicht antik, eher schäbig. Auch die Handtücher sind wirklich überfällig. Bad war zwar sauber, aber auch ziemlich veraltet!

It is old and feels like a board .There are two (equally bad) beds put together— and one falls in between. An English speaking staff would be helpful… Finally, towels: it will be a cheap investment to buy new towels, but details like this make a difference.
• Angela (9/5): Lovely place to stay. Would benefit from some tlc - Great location. Friendly and helpful Staff. Very spacious accommodation. Clean and comfortable. Michelle is amazing! Room a bit tired. I would be happy to pay more for a more attractive room. It would not cost a great deal to make more homely and inviting. Comfortable and well equipped, however very dated, bath mats need to be binned. Despite this, would not think twice before booking again.

• Maria Paola (7/5): Tutto ok - Palazzina d’epoca molto ben tenuta in una zona residenziale e tranquilla. Staff gentile e disponibile. Pulizia impeccabile La posizione per le mie necessità non comodissima. I mobili della camera per quanto antichi andrebbero restaurati.
• Olimpia (6/5): Soggiorno mediocre - Ottima posizione in zona tranquilla e vicino ai servizi necessari. Camera spaziosa e silenziosa. Camera dotata di pessima illuminazione, materassi di scarsa qualità, potrebbe essere piú pulita avendo trovato mangiare aperto e scaduto nel frigorifero. Accoglienza molto fredda. Peccato perchè sarebbe una struttura con ottime potenzialità ma anche i dettagli fanno la differenza.

• calendvlae (10/5): - Davvero molto comodo, il punto in cui è situato permette di arrivare facilmente alla metro e da lì spostarsi ovunque. Molto pulito e la stanza molto grande. Se dovessi tornare a Roma terrei sicuramente in considerazione Residenza Matilde.

• Kb (7/5): No frills, you get what you pay for. - I did a solo travel to Rome and I felt overall it did the trick. I simply needed a place to drop off my luggage, shower, and sleep. If you’re looking for a place with no frills, then this is the place. I liked that there was an AC unit and the care taker comes once a day to tidy. I also liked that it was in a safe area away from the load noise of downtown. My room smelt musty. Probably because the building is older but it was very unpleasant coming home to from a long hot day of sight seeing. The toilet had a weird flush which I didn’t like. I booked the “large double” bed which was really two twin beds placed together. The mattresses were firm and not that comfortable. I was on the third floor which had a very narrow winding staircase. Very cumbersome if you had a lot of luggage. Lastly, at night time the hallway lights would be off making it very dangerous going up and down the stairs. I can’t say I truly got comfortable there.

Very nice view in the room, lots of space it could easily fit 4 people. Walked all the way to the Trevi fountain in less than an hour. Stairs a bit steep and it was hard to get the big suitcase to the room lol
