Guest Reviews

- Rachel (8/5): Trogir is my favourite place, the apartment was satisfactory. - Trogir was amazing and well worth staying there. The apartment was small but compact, with sufficient kitchen space. The bed was comfortable. Just outside the front door was a lovely taverna that sold good food and the red wine ( Croatian Zinfandel) was brilliant. The main flat was clean, but the bathroom wall under the window was very dirty. We had to collect the key from a travel agent, who then showed us where the room was and how to get there. Lugging around 2 cases made this difficult but not insurmountable if fit. Finding a car parking space was difficult. It’s the price you pay for staying on the municipality of Trogir, which is car free. The stairs up to the flat are difficult if you have mobility problems. The apartment was lovely, spoilt only by the cleanliness of the bathroom wall, the safe being broken and the kettle not working. After we went back to the travel agents to inform them of the broken kettle, it was replaced quickly.
- Jenny (7/5): Generally we were happy with our stay. Be prepared to climb stairs - Very friendly staff at the agency where we picked up the keys. Room was ready early
There was a coffee machine , fridge and plates and crockery so we could make ourselves breakfast It is in a good central location The apartment was generally clean however the coffee pot was dirty and needed cleaning. There were no cleaning products or tea towel provided for washing up. . The apartment is in a busy area and was noisy with the windows open. We needed to close the windows and use air conditioning
The light on the stairs outside the apartment kept coming on intermittently overnight which lit up the apartment due to the glass over the door

- Hilary (5/5): This is in a beautiful part of a historic town. Such a pity it is not better maintained. - Situation. Cost. Furnishings. Faulty security light flashed on and off 24/24 into my room.
Security light at entrance did not switch on until 4 steps up - health and safety risk.
Dead bulb in bedside light.
Cracked mug was unusable.
- Rachel (8/5): A lovely room in a great spot - Great location within the old city. Very comfortable and quiet. The kettle wasn’t working.
- Victoria (8/5): - Fantastic location, great easy instructions how to enter. Staff were really helpful. Great facilities in the apartment. Plenty of room for the 2 of us. Wooden blinds outside provided enough blackout at sunrise and kept the room dark enough to still sleep. The church bells ringing at 530am (not the apartments fault). The glasses provided were only small ones, personally we would have preferred hi-ball glasses, however that is a personal preference. The hanging rail seems short and only 3 hangers provided for the 2 of us. No storage room for the suitcase. Wall socket to right side of bed out of the wall seemed a risk.
- Aleksandra (10/5): -
- Carmel McDonnell (10/5): We absolutely loved our stay. Our hosts allowed us arrive late and extend our check out - The location was fabulous. We would definitely go back.
- Cornici Ragazzini (6/5): -
- Paul Mountford (3/5): - This apartment was a big disappointment, with too many negatives. The only real plus was the location - close to the harbour front - but to be honest, any b&b or apartment on Trogir island is a good location, although there was no view from this apartment.
The bed was large and reasonably comfortable. No personal welcome from the host or any personal contact during our stay. The entrance hall was not great, scruffy, there was a musty smell and the lighting was poor. 45 steps to the top of the building was hard work, especially with suitcases. The pictures of Che Guevara in the hallway were interesting. Additionally, the main entrance door was never locked.
All of the stair lights were on motion sensors, except the first light. However, the light outside our room (at the top) never went out - as had been reported previously and acknowledged by the owner. I had to put a cushion above the bathroom door as the light came through from outside into the bathroom via the glass bricks.
The bathroom also smelled even with a window open - the shower flow was poor.
Although the bed was large, the fitted sheet didn't fit, and we had duvet covers as a top cover.
The air con worked well but was very noisy, and not able to reduce the fan speed. There wasn't too much noise from outside, but enough not to be able to have the windows open at night.
The 'self-catering' kitchen facilities were not great. You couldn't put anything in the fridge door as the restraining bars were missing. We were asked to wash up our dishes before we left, but with no sink, bowl, drainer, washing up liquid or tea towel, this was an impossible task. To fill the kettle from the small bathroom sink was only possible by using a glass.
This was the sixth of 6 rooms/b&b's of our Croatia trip and yet again the towels were ridiculously small (and not particularly soft)..
I do not recommend this apartment.

- Karen (9/5): - The position in Old Town was spectacular, the room was big enough for a couple, and had a good sized fridge If noise bothers you it was a little loud at bedtime from being right in the centre of town, and the church bells at 5.30am could distub you, after the first night, it wasn't a problem and we slept through.
- Vesna (9/5): Superb -
- Mirza (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful space in a beautiful location, in the heart of the old town. Dragana from Kairos was extremely nice and helpful, we really felt welcome and pleasant from the start. Absolutely recommended.
- Zoe (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely host. Amazing location in the old town. No thrills but great price for what it was. Had a Croatian charm about it and when you step outside your door your in the. Heart of the old town
- Christina (10/5): We were there on our last night in town and it was simple and perfect. It had everytihng we needed. - I loved the location in the old part of town. Easy to locate and near all the shops. Very cute apartment with all amenities. Great shower and hot water. The stairs up to the apartment were a bit slippery ( stone , very nice but not great in flipflops)...and dark as the light kept turning off.
- Dawn (6/5): Room Ursa - The location was good in Trogir centre.
The bed was comfortable.
The shower was good.
Air conditioning was good The light going on and off all night, there are glass tiles in the shower room which the light came through and went on and off all night.
The walls in the room were marked.
When we stripped the bed as we were asked to do before we left, the mattress topper was very badly stained.
The lights went on and off the stairs as you went to the top room.
No cooking facilities, only a fridge.
I assume this was a room, not an apartment.
- Sorcha (10/5): Exceptional - The room was lovely. And the location was excellent. Bed was comfy and apartment very clean. Overall great experience. Thank you so much
- Phillip (7/5): Great location 2 mins to promenade - would return again. - Perfect for solo person. Less than 2 mins to main promenade. The streets remind me of Venice, very narrow and confusing to start with, take time to find the route to both bridges so you know where you are. If you are lost, keep walking until you hit the coast then reorientate. It only takes 20 mins to walk round the entire coast. More restaurants than you can imagine. There is an electric kettle, a few coffee sachets and some coffee 'powder' for the peculator (it may have been instant, not sure) there is a fridge with a very small freezer section, I didn't use. Lots of plug sockets and wardrobe space. Situated right at the top of the building. Hot inside but ok with either windows open for through draft or put air con on. Cutlery, few plates, bowls and glasses, mugs. Toiletries in bathroom plus hairdryer. Think the picture showed purple and green walls, but these have been painted white. The smell from the restaurants I found appealing but not for everyone I guess. Not really any views due to nature of narrow streets but you can see rooftops and clock tower. The streets are noisy in to early hours and the clock tower rings for about 2 minutes at 530am. Club / restaurant noise until at least 1am, didn't overly bother me but some people it might - I can't see how you can avoid this anywhere else either though. I had walked to the office to collect the keys but then had to walk back to the accommodation to meet the host, I was a bit early though. I'm not sure why the keys aren't left in the key box as I did my passport info online and it wasn't asked for. I did leave keys in key box on exit. You would say the place is on the 3rd floor but 6 sets of stairs, circling up, no lift if you need one. There are sensor lights on the stairs that switch on as you go up (no windows on stairs), the one at the top outside the 'front door' to the accommodation was broken and switched on and off every 30 seconds. This light comes into the room at night as there are glass blocks forming part of the wall that let this light in, you can also hear it switching on and off. The fridge also makes a noise if you are sensitive. Quite small niggles but these are the things that I noticed.
- Murray (9/5): Superb - Parking free on Sunday
Views from room
Accessible location close to everything
Great design - artwork Internet not working - router probably needed restarting.
Room door handle came loose
- Astrid (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jasmina (9/5): Superb -
- Stoyanova (10/5): Exceptional - Great location, clean, comfortable, friendly host. It had everything you need for a perfect stay.
- Marjan (9/5): Superb -
- Matej (10/5): Can’t wait to stay here again! - Great staff, perfect location, good sized apartment and great value for money Nothing, everything was great!
- Jessica (9/5): Superb -
- Dieter (9/5): Superb - The staff was really friendly and the location is great
- Krista (7/5): Good - unfortunately the room was smelly, particularily the bathroom. it was not possible to take a really hot shower and there were ants in bathroom.
- Aleksandra (10/5): I would definitely recommend the property to stay in Trogir and would love to return 🦄 - The apartment is super cozy and atmospheric, very attentive staff: huge thank you to Natalia, who met me and provided everything I needed 💕
- Lincolnbest (8/5): Nice stay in the heart of the old Town. - Lovely location, but as it’s on the top floor, it’s a lot of stairs to hook your bags up to. Super room, very clean and comfortable. Horrible smell from the drains in the bathroom.
- Robert (10/5): Perfect stay - Great location. The apartament was very spacious.
- Bezenye (10/5): Exceptional - Central location, equipment.
- Peter (8/5): In the center of Trogir - Natalie has been so kind to wait for us, even if we had a delay on our flight; we could easily communicate by phone. She was also very friendly in welcoming us.
- Sylvia (10/5): Exceptional - Super clean and comfortable! Lovely host who met us and walked us to the room when we arrived
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mihir (9/5): Superb -
- Debbylio (9/5): Good option - We got a free upgrade.
Natalia was very helpful.
The room was fully equipped, very well organised and decorated, in a very good location and near to many restaurants. Due to the fact that it was in a busy neighborhood, it was not so peaceful. Also, the wifi didn't work.
- Viola (9/5): We had an excellent stay and were impressed with great communication & customer service from Natalja - We really like the location of the property. The office at which we could retrieve our keys and also receive valuable hints and ideas for our stay was easy to find due to the excellent instructions we got just before our arrival. Natalja was super fun and welcoming and was a wealth of fantastic information and recommendations for our stay. She was available for our inquiries during our stay. She was so helpful in taking us to our room and introducing us to Trogir. We would highly recommend this apartment. We really enjoyed our stay. Nothing stands out as untoward.
- Alan (9/5): Superb -
- Wesley (10/5): A very welcome break. - Lovely clean, comfortable apartment, only spent one night but after 36 hours travelling it was a very welcome stop. Facilities where great, bed was comfortable and right in the middle of town so very convenient for bars, restaurants and airport, bus station very close.
The young lady that welcomed us was very nice and waited for us to arrive even though it was very late due to a delayed flight.
Would highly recommend, There was nothing to dislike, our room was up several flights of stairs so a little difficult with our very big suitcase and if you aren't very mobile but nothing insurmountable and there are other apartments on lower floors.
- Natural (9/5): Superb -
- Florencia (7/5): good place - the location great. spacious room and bathroom during weekend can be noisy in the nights since it’s exactly in the middle of bars and restaurants. luckily they finished the party around midnight
- Gulzaar (9/5): Superb -
- Vasko (8/5): Very good -
- Karl (9/5): Superb -
- Topros (10/5): Great location for exploring Trogir and nearby islands - The best accomodation we had in Croatia. The appartment is just in the city center, in a historical stone house. It is nicely renovated and well equipped. The host was friendfly and gave us a lot of information. The best part of staying there was the calm and almost emply morning Trogir. There is nothing to do about it, but parking is somewhat complicated. Either you pay 25 Euro a night in a car part at the island or you need to leave your car at mainland (15 minutes waling distance).
- Kiki (8/5): Great stay - The size of the accommodation was great for two people.
Friendly staff, although it would've been easier if we wouldn't have to pick up a key and instead self-check-in. Not a problem for us, but I imagine it is a bit annoying to walk up two flights of stairs with (big) luggage.
- Verified traveler (8/5):
- Verified traveler (10/5): - L’emplacement
- Ramy (10/5): Great stay!! - Great friendly service, room was great, comfortable, and right in the heart of the city, can't imagine a better location.
- Marie (10/5): - Nice area to stay in Trogir and our room had a nice view also .The room is nice and you can make a cup tea also.
- Andrew (10/5): Great little studio apartment - We stayed in the apartment on the last night of our trip on the Dalmatian coast. It was perfect for location in Trogir and its proximity to the airport.
