• Annina (8/5): Insgesamt super Unterkunft! - Die Unterkunft liegt super, das Viertel ist eher local und man kommt schnell zum Vatikan und auch in die Innenstadt. Supermarkt und unzählige Restaurants in direkter Nähe. Das Personal war freundlich und hat uns hilfreiche Tipps fürs Sightseeing gegeben. Sowohl später Checkin, als auch späterer Checkout wurden uns ohne Probleme ermöglicht. Die Einrichtung war modern und sauber. Eine süße kleine Unterkunft die eine super Ausgangslage für den Städtetrip bietet. Wir haben deftiges Frühstück vermisst. Es gab jeden Morgen Croissants, die lecker waren, aber wir hätten uns etwas Abwechslung gewünscht. Was wir auch schade fanden, war, dass das Toilettenpapier nicht zuverlässig ausgewechselt wurde. Wir haben uns dann selbst welches besorgt. Die Wände sind sehr hellhörig und wir hatten im Zimmer neben uns Gäste die sich bis spät in die Nacht laut unterhalten und dann geschnarcht haben. Für uns war der Aufenthalt trotzdem super und wenn man sich auf die genannten Punkte einstellt, echt zu empfehlen!

• Marianne (8/5): Super Standort mit einer sehr freundlichen Gastgeberin in einem ruhigen harmonischen Ambiente. - Bei schönem Wetter ist die Terrasse zum Frühstücken ideal. Wir durften unser Gepäck bis zur Abreise im Abstellraum lassen. Der linke Fensterflügel ließ sich nicht öffnen, da ein Scharnier wohl abgebrochen war.
• Rakesh (10/5): A comfortable, clean, and welcoming stay in a great location with wonderful staff — we would happily return. - We had a wonderful stay at Charming Roma. The room was spacious, very clean, and had everything we needed. The air conditioning was excellent, especially after long warm days exploring Rome. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay, and housekeeping kept the rooms and bathroom areas spotless every day. The location in Prati was fantastic — a lovely, family-friendly area with easy access to the Vatican and inexpensive Ubers into the centre of Rome. Overall, we were very comfortable and really enjoyed our stay. The only small issue we experienced was that the kettle was a little temperamental at times, but it wasn’t a major problem and didn’t affect our overall experience. It’s also worth noting that the property is not particularly wheelchair or baby buggy friendly due to the stairs (about six or seven in total), although we were still able to carry the buggy up once our child was out. Once we understood that, it didn’t take away from what was otherwise a very enjoyable stay.

• Markéta (5/5): Excellent location, but the overall experience is negatively affected by noise and low cleanliness. - Great location, just a few minutes’ walk from St. Peter’s Basilica. Ideal for exploring the city. We stayed 3 nights in room no. 3, which is located right next to the main entrance, so it was very noisy – we could hear street noise as well as the opening and closing of the entrance gate, especially at night. The room door did not seal properly, letting in a significant amount of light from the corridor during the night. The cleanliness of the room was not at an acceptable level and the space did not feel well maintained. The blanket was clearly not washed for a long time and was heavily soiled. The bathroom was neglected, with visible dirt and even mold in the shower area and around the silicone seals.
• Maria (9/5): Es war sehr schön 🤗 - Die Unterkunft hat eine sehr gute Lage im Stadtkern Roms. Es ist alles gut zu erreichen von da. Die Vatikanstadt ist ungefähr 1 Kilometer entfernt. Sie hat einen schönen italienischen Schwarm. Das Personal war super freundlich. Wir kommen bestimmt nochmal wieder. Frühstück war klein aber ausreichen 🤗 Jeden Morgen gibt es ein frisches Croissant mit Füllung nach Wahl + Orangensaft. Kaffeemaschine ist auch vorhanden. Die Zimmer sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Leisten sind aufgequollen im Bad und das Bad wirkt sehr dunkel, da es schwarze gestrichen ist.

• Fleischer (7/5): Für den Kurzurlaub in Rom gut geeignet - Zentrale Lage nahe Vatikan, auch die anderen Sehenswürdigkeiten sind gut erreichbar. Sehr nettes Personal, die Lagerung unseres Gepäcks war problemlos. Das Frühstück haben wir im Zimmer zu uns genommen, da es im März auf der Terrasse zu kalt ist. Das Bad ist klein.

• Harish Mekerira (10/5): Very comfortable and nice stay at Charming Roma! - Excellent overall experience. The hosts were very accommodating to our requests, and provided great service during our stay. The location of this place alone is worth it; 5 min walk to the Vatican Museum and St. Peter's Basilica. Very good restaurants nearby. The facility itself is comfortable and has all the modern amenities one can hope for in a Bed and Breakfast. The size of the room and bathroom is not very big, but I would describe it as comfortable for 2 people. If you are looking for after hour services that may be a challenge only because the hosts don't live at the property. We were able to manage around it and were provided with information and support to the extent possible. Again, not a show stopper for us.

• Yuly Nathaly (10/5): Séjour inoubliable ! - Quel séjour magnifique au Charming Rome ! Dès notre arrivée, l’accueil a été incroyable : chaleureux, sincère et toujours avec le sourire. On sent vraiment que l’équipe aime ce qu’elle fait, et ça rend l’expérience encore plus spéciale. L’emplacement est juste parfait. Le quartier est vivant, avec plein de commerces, cafés et restaurants à deux pas. Le métro est à proximité, ce qui permet de se déplacer facilement dans toute la ville. Et le Vatican à seulement 10 minutes à pied… un vrai luxe ! Pouvoir s’y rendre à pied le matin, c’est magique. Un immense merci à Lorenza et Federica pour leur gentillesse et leur professionnalisme. Elles ont vraiment contribué à rendre notre séjour inoubliable. Rome est déjà une ville extraordinaire, mais séjourner au Charming Rome a rendu notre voyage encore plus mémorable. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir ! ❤️ Petit point à noter cependant : les murs sont un peu fins. Heureusement, nous avons eu des voisins très respectueux, donc cela ne nous a pas dérangés.

• Marcin (5/5): Było po prostu ok. Na maksymalnie na 2-3 noce można się zatrzymać, ale są lepsze dzielnice. - Bardzo miła obsługa. Pokoje sprzątane codziennie. Kilka fajnych knajp w najbliższej okolicy oraz wyjątkowo dobrze wyposażony spożywczy sklep Pewex (Polakom kojarzący się z luksusem lat 80tych). Duża wilgotność w pokoju i łazience. Kaloryfer w pokoju raz grzał, a raz nie. Łazienka raczej w słabym stanie, z wypaczonym oknem i bardzo zimna. Stock’owa muzyka na korytarzu puszczana przez 24h na dobę. W nocy to dość uciążliwe, bo słychać ją w pokoju. WiFi działające tylko na korytarzu. Niby nic takiego, ale gdy twój zasięg sieci komórkowej też jest słaby, a musisz chwilę popracować, to już przestaje być to błahostką. Światło na tarasie zepsute, więc wieczorem nie ma nawet sensu się tam wybierać. Nie ma też sensu wykupywać śniadań, bo to nic innego jak croissant, kawa (do zrobienia samodzielnie w pokoju), soczek i jabłko. Śniadanie je się siedząc na łóżku lub stojąc, bo w pokoju nie ma innej możliwości. Lepiej pójść na kawę gdzieś w pobliżu i zamówić sobie kawałek pizzy, czy czegoś innego.

• Anne (10/5): Comfortable accommodation in a excellent location - Very pleasant stay. Beds were very comfortable. Good breakfast, fresh croissants delivered every morning, juice fruit and yogurt. Excellent location a few minutes walk from Ottaviano metro station giving easy access to all the main tourist attractions. A few minutes walk from Vatican City. Safe area with good restaurants nearby. The host Lorenza was very helpful and takes great care maintaining standards at the property.

• Helio (3/5): Terrível! - Tive uma péssima experiência. Quando cheguei no hotel não havia ninguém na recepção. Tive que ligar para conseguir os códigos das portas de entrada. Cheguei no quarto e não havia nenhuma instrução do funcionamento do aquecimento e chuveiro. Descobri que o acomodação na fornece café da manhã. Eles consideram o café da manhã uma máquina de café com capsula, suco de laranja de garrafa, duas maçãs, duas laranjas e dois pães. Foi uma decepção total. Meu voo de regresso era muito tarde. Desde o início pedi para que eu pudesse ficar até às 18:00h, disse que pagaria por isso. No entanto só postergaram a resposta. Só na manhã do último dia que me informaram que poderia ficar até às 13:00 h e que eu poderia deixar as malas na recepção. O detalhe é que não existe um local seguro para você deixar suas bagagens e também não tem ninguém na recepção. Resumindo eu deixei o quarto às 13:00h e fiquei com as malas na recepção até a hora de ir para o aeroporto. Ou seja, perdi um tempo precioso. E para completar o quarto que eu estava não foi ocupado até a hora que saí para o aeroporto. Ou seja, eu poderia ter ficado no quarto. A experiência foi horrível.

• Regina (7/5): Etwas enttäuscht nach den guten Bewertungen des - Super Lage. Die Zimmer klein, aber sauber. Wir wurden leider nur per WhatsApp empfangen und hatten auch nur die Möglichkeit, per WhatsApp Fragen zu stellen. Das Frühstück war gar nichts. Es gab nur 2 Kapseln für Espresso morgens, was für Kaffeetrinker viel zu wenig ist. Somit mussten wir jeden Morgen Frühstücken gehen, was die Sache wesentlich teurer gemacht hat.
• Princess (10/5): Great stay with Charming Roma - Everything was amazing. Centrally located. Walkable to the metro and bus. In the Prati district, close to shopping and lots of restaurants. Walking distance to a laundromat, self service or full service. No breakfast breakfast, but they do give croissants, jams, nutella, honey, fruits, juices, room is equipped with teas and a nespresso machine. And Water. That they refill everyday complimentary. The only con is the room door needs to be lifted slightly while locking. Which can be a little tricky. Communication with the property was 100% smooth. Was able to extend easily.

• Carol (7/5): Great location ...get your comfy shoes on and walk everywhere - The location I'd say is the best thing about this premises. It is more of a guest house than a hotel. Only 6 rooms. The rooms are small but clean and have everything you need. At night it is located in a quiet area so no crazy city noise. It's in the perfect location ..in the centre , 8 min wall to vatican city and within v easy walking distance to all the major attractions. The metro in 4 min walk away to. So top marks on location alone It lacks any personal touch. There is no one at the little front desk, you see no one for your stay. They leave croissants out daily, you have your very simple breakfast in your room. The water power in the showers is very poor at times but we didn't mind that.

About a 15 minute walk to the Vatican museums and about 30-35 minutes into the center of Rome. Tube and bus routes were also within 5-7 minutes making it super accessible. Great dinning options within 100-200 meters. We really enjoyed the daily brioche they would order for us as well as the restocking of water and juice in the mini fridge which is all included in the price. The rooms are small, but great for two people. Lastly the Aircon worked great, which was absolutely necessary during these hot Rome summer days.

The many restaurants nearby (as well as recommendations from the staff) spoil you for choice. The room was clean and comfortable in a secure building. The staff were welcoming and very friendly. I highly recommend Charming Roma as a place to stay whilst exploring an incredible city.
• Alton (10/5): I definitely would book here again. - Excellent location in a quiet neighborhood. Metro train station about 5 minute walk. Less than 30 minute walk to the Vatican. Many diverse excellent restaurants within walking distance. About a 30 minute walk to Castel Sant'Angelo and Sant'Angelo Bridge. Nice room in a safe neighborhood. No complaints.

• htbrr (10/5): - I had a wonderful time at Charming Roma this past week. Lorenza and Federica were very kind and helpful. It's located in a quiet neighborhood and a short 5-minute walk from the Ottaviano metro station. The Vatican is also a short 15-minute walk from here. They arrange for fresh croissants to be dropped off every morning; keep your fridge stocked with water, fresh fruit, orange juice, etc.; and tidy up your room every day at no additional cost. I would highly recommend staying at Charming Roma.
