- Joseph (2/5): Disappointed - never had to raise a issue in past travel and I am well travelled internationally. - complaint raised both during and after visit and owner continually failed to accept failings and accused me of downgrading to receive money back. I paid almost $8k and the room was dirty, no natural light, bedding was stained TV not showing local channels and lose wires hanging. Carpet had replaced wooden floor which is not the description on the Booking.com website. There are 5 bins outside the window which cannot be closed as it is locked in position. The windows have not been cleaned in several weeks and bad smell of petrol? The accommodation is not worth the money paid and the owner does not recognise these issues but he becomes very personable and implies the customer is wrong at all times. He also took a deposit as he mentioned I paid by Credit Card - I paid in full by DD several months prior to travelling direct payment in full? My complaint with Booking.com remains open.

Eli was there to help us with our luggage though when we checked in. A wonderful location for public transport options with the bus just steps from the building.

- Sommer (4/5): Disappointing - Good location The apartment was really dirty. The hallway smells bad. We found a cockroach behind the bathroom door. For you to take a shower you will have to flood the bathroom. First time ever that I needed to tap my card for a $280 deposit even after having already paid for the accommodation. Really expensive for what we got.

You could hear every word of people coming in and out. Very loud, especially at night when you are trying to sleep. Fridge very noisy at night as well. Bedding and pillows very thin.

However the worst was the bathroom, the toilet is right up against the shower so you cant sit straight on the toilet. Also a tiny towel rail on a huge wall! Makes no sense, can't dry your towels

- Marina (2/5): Disappointing and not to be repeated. - I chose Bondi Suites because of its location and the photo on booking.com. The reality is a little different. Met by the manager Eli who showed us through some fire doors, down a flight of stairs and into a basement, right next to the bins and the water butts and a very unsightly drain. Not what we expected. See photo. It rained on our last night. The drops of rain on a perspex roof just outside our door were so loud we could not sleep all night. It was not pleasant. When I complained to Eli, first he feigned he hadn't seen the emails, then he said he had never had a complaint like that before ( there is always a first time ) and finally he said he was only the manager so could not decide on a requested reimbursement. I was polite and fed back nicely but he was nothing short of evasive and dismissive. Sometimes it is not only about making money from a crappy property but also admitting that you did not provide the best experience to your customers. Sadly he was not even able to do that.

Property was in excellent condition, very modern and all facilities in excellent condition. The property was very clean and in a great location. Would highly recommend and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again

Pleasant, clean studio, although it would benefit from some smaller touches. For example, it needs a coffee machine or plunger, it’s hard to get fresh air unless the blinds were up (so hard to rely on aircon), the shower took 4-6mins to get hot water, and they were stingey on the body wash and shampoo/conditioner (i.e. they provided 40ml body wash and 40ml of a ‘conditioning shampoo’ for two people for a three-night stay). Note, they deduct a $280 bond on arrival from credit card, I’ve been told to wait up to 7days to get back- which is annoying.

- Jayanne (8/5): Pleasant. - Location was good for cafe's and eventually I found open dinner places. About 20 minutes from Bondi Beach and one bus to downtown. Nice decor -- all white and fresh. There was a washer and dryer (and a dishwasher). I didn't realize one machine was as dehumidifier and I should have had that on. I would next time pick a suite that was higher up in the building.

- Kristine (8/5): KJM Bondi - When I used Hotels.com to book this accommodation I thought I was booking a hotel, not a non branded apartment in a small block. The apartment was spotless and the bed very comfortable. The downside was that we were on the ground floor and were woken by the upstairs guests returning between 3 and 4 am. The door to the apartment has a 2 inch gap between the door and the floor. I'm sure a noise stopper could be installed so as to reduce the noise and also the light from coming underneath. Not that close to the beach but an ideal location for us.

A very welcoming and easy check-in process, all the facilities were super clean and as stated on the booking process. The apartment has everything you would need for a short stay. Its open, airy and plenty of storage space. It has cooking facilities and clothes washing facilities. The beds were super comfy too! Only a short 10-15min walk to Bondi with lots of lovely little cafes and restaurants around. I loved Francois just next door. Thank you so much for the wonderful stay, we hope to return again!
- alison (4/5): Unexpected additions to bed - What should have been the perfect position and experience was seriously affected by 2 things. Firstly there is zero branding on the apartments. I felt most uncomfortable staying in an unidentified space with literally zero way of identification. Nowhere near beach so name itself is deceptive. The apartment block is a small local residence with lots of stairs. Secondly, the cleanliness of linen was most unsatisfactory. One does not expect anything at all inside a bed on check/in!! Admin changed linen on request but not acceptable. I would caution people about using this place.
