• José Julián (10/5): Experiencia presidencial - Uno de los mejores sitios donde nos hemos alojado. Vale cada euro. El trato es excelente. La comida riquísima. Repetiremos sin lugar a dudas, con mejor tiempo, para disfrutar de su piscina.

Internet connection - absolutely unstable and frustratingly unreliable, you can get better connectivity in the jungle or any remote area, plus the login interface requires you to provide your email or social media which basically means that a five star hotel charges you extra for an allegedly free and rudimentary service in your privacy, Check in - that’s nice to be offered a complimentary glass of cava but to write your address on a blank piece of paper on which the receptionist then writes your credit card number (NOT typing in any computer system, just casually handwritten) feels like a step away from identity theft. Compulsory interactions - I’m sure it’s meant to be personable but I hated it anyway. Useless phone call on the day prior to our arrival to enquire about the arrival time (the reception is 24/7!). Entering and exiting the parking lot - go and ask the reception. Getting more than one slice of bread for breakfast - find a server and ask her. Waste of time and effort.

• Beatriz (9/5): Normal - Es un hotel exclusivo con habitaciones bonitas. No todas tienen bañera. Desayuno nada acogedor y en mesas tan grandes que no puedes ni hablar con tu pareja. Tienes que estar pidiendo cosas porque tienen un menú establecido con unas cantidades. No es para un hotel de esa categoría. Hay hoteles con desayunos espectaculares y este no lo es. Hay un olor excesivo a ambientador (tóxico) en las habitaciones que no te deja dormir.

• Max (8/5): A great location , let down by details - The hotel is in an excellent location, making it very convenient for getting around. The staff were consistently friendly and welcoming, The décor was attractive and thoughtfully done,The bed was particularly impressive very large and extremely comfortable. The grounds bar the pool are a bonus The room felt quite dark and somewhat claustrophobic, with only a very small attic window and a sloping pink ceiling, which made the space feel more enclosed than expected. There was also a lack of any meaningful storage, which made it difficult to organise belongings. I appreciate the pool is not in use at this time of year but it appeared dirty and cloudy, which gave the outside areas an overall impression of being poorly maintained and somewhat unpleasant. The breakfast setup felt rather stilted, and at I believe €25 per head, it seemed very poor value for what was offered. Additionally, something as simple as English breakfast tea should be made with properly boiling water, not lukewarm water.

Pocas facilidades y amabilidad en general: no pudimos hacer late checkout siendo un lunes la salida, ni early check in, nos cobraron hasta el parking. Amenaza de penalización de 150€ (previa garantía con tarjeta de crédito) por fumar en la habitación o terraza. ¿Cómo lo demuestran si deciden cobrártelo? Mala insonorización de las habitaciones.

No hay servicio de habitaciones, llegamos a las 14 h 35 y fué imposible comer , comedor cerrado sin cafetería y sin poder tomar absolutamente nada . En cuanto a la decoración bien, pero un abuso de la figura del Presidente Suárez. En el cuarto de baño , encima del retrete hay una inmensa fotografía del Presidente , fumando.

• ROCIO (9/5): Muy recomendable - Es un alojamiento muy cuidado las habitaciones son bonitas y las camas y toda la ropa tanto en el cuarto de baño como en el dormitorio es de una calidad excelente. Por la noche cenamos en el restaurante caleña y también recibimos un trato extraordinario No se nos permitió disfrutar del jardín después de la cena, ni siquiera de la parte de la piscina, que está más alejada de las habitaciones.
• Katrin (10/5): Sehr schönes Hotel in zentraler Lage - Schönes, zentral gelegenes aber sehr ruhiges Hotel. Parkplatz gleich gegenüber vom Hotel. Man kann alle Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß erreichen. Wir hatten ein Zimmer unter dem Dach, großes Bad. Sehr gutes Frühstück und sehr nettes Personal. Kein Tisch zum Schreiben/Arbeiten im Zimmer (nur ein kleiner niedriger Tisch bei den Sesseln). Einer der Fußschemel war durchgessen und deswegen inststabil.

Me ha encantado la tranquilidad que se respira en un sitio que tiene trascendencia histórica, dado quién fue su primer morador: Adolfo Suárez, artífice de la Transición Española. Leer en las hamacas del jardín viendo La Muralla y un maravilloso cruceiro. Los coctails en la piscina.

En particular la piscina, los desayunos con productos naturales de la comarca y por supuesto el personal, dedicado exclusivamente a hacerte la estancia lo más cómoda posible y siempre con una preciosa sonrisa en el rostro. Me ha cautivado en particular Victor, Bittor para mi en euskera. Maravilloso. Y para finalizar, su restaurante CALEÑA, magnífico. Admite gente que no se hospeda en el hotel. No dudéis en visitarlo. No poder quedarme más tiempo jajaja

• Salud (10/5): Sorprendente - Es un lugar maravilloso pero que las personas que trabajan hacen extraordinario. El desayuno es sorprendente, os impactará. En plena muralla abulense un remanso de paz, todo basado en el principio que la concordia fue, es y será posible!!!
• Soraya (8/5): Estupendo con margen de mejora. - La habitación es amplia y limpia, con muchos bonitos detalles propios de un 5 estrellas. El hotel tiene un encanto especial por su historia. Y los aromas son exquisitos. El personal de recepción es encantador y muy atento. Es un hotel que yo recomendaría para una escapada romántica, pero con matices. Las almohadas no eran muy cómodas y el exceso de ambientador nos obstruyó las fosas nasales. Yo soy alérgica y asmática y no me vino nada bien para dormir. No hay ningún rincón para fumadores en todo el jardín por lo que si vas con alguien que fuma o bien se sale fuera del hotel cada dos por tres o mejor id a otra terraza a charlar y disfrutar juntos, a pesar de que seáis las únicas personas que estén en la piscina o en la terraza. Mi pareja está acostumbrado a alejarse para no molestarme con el humo por mi condición, también se aleja cuando hay personas alrededor por educación, pero yo nunca le hubiese hecho pasar esa absurda incomodidad de haberlo sabido antes de hacer la reserva, debería estar más claro especificado. En el check out nos hicieron esperar a que revisaran la habitación en recepción. Un detalle desagradable, es mejor omitir a los huéspedes esa información porque los haces sentir como delincuentes. El personal del restaurante aún tiene mucho que pulir en cuanto a atención y humildad respecto de un hotel de categoría superior. Para un 4 estrellas la calificación sería de excepcional pero para un 5 estrellas con su precio, le faltan detalles a pulir.
