Si trova a pochi passi da una strada principale ricca di ristoranti e bar, ma allo stesso tempo è estremamente silenzioso grazie alla posizione in un vialetto tranquillo. Il letto è comodissimo e nell’alloggio c’era tutto il necessario per un soggiorno perfetto. La vasca è una vera chicca, ideale per rilassarsi nel silenzio e nell’atmosfera magica dei Sassi. Colazione molto buona e soddisfacente. Un ringraziamento speciale a Mimma, la proprietaria, super gentile e disponibile. The room/suite was spectacular and Mima - B&B Al Convento provided a remarkable “cave” room that was both imaginatively conceived and well-appointed. Mimma and Enzo could not have been better hosts and the breakfast was expetuonal. The only minor complaint is that the hot water pressure could have been better/stronger.

• Wenhua (10/5): A hidden gem - The property is located in Sassi, only 1min walk you can see the view of the cathedral and valley. The inner decoration suits the cave perfectly. The shower is powerfully, feel a little massage. The breakfast is like a banquet. Different kinds of bread, salami, blood orange juice, diary products, fruits. The owner also offered coffee and yogurt. The toasted bread with tomatoes is so good. We literally skip the lunch that day. None

Die Höhlenzimmer sind an sich schon etwas Besonderes, die Gastgeber haben sie mit Stil eingerichtet. Enzo hat uns eine 2-stündige Tour durch die Sassi gebucht, sehr zu empfehlen. Das Frühstück war großartig: regionale Produkte von Salsiccia, Ricotta, Pecorino, Bruschette bis zu Obstsalat und kleinen Küchelchen uvm. alles sehr, sehr köstlich, auch glutenfreie Produkte wurden angeboten

L'accoglienza è state veramente bellissima, trattati fin da subito quasi come di famiglia, quando Enzo ha saputo che avevo avuto un problema con l'auto si è offerto subito di aiutarmi. La camera/sasso bellissima curata fin nei minimi particolari, il bagno molto bello e con tutti i comfort, c'era addirittura l spazzolino e il dentifricio, tutto pulitissimo, mia moglie in un'altra vita faceva parte dei RIS e vi posso assicurare che era pulitissima. La colazione servita dalla moglie Mimma era veramente spettacolare, come si vede dalle foto, Mimma bravissima e simpaticissima. Dopo che ho risolto con l'auto Enzo ha chiamato una guida, Giusy che ci ha fatto scoprire le bellezze e la storia di Matera, veramente brava e disponibile visto che era già pomeriggio inoltrato. It was a Franciscan church complete with original cut stone arch within. Very atmospheric space and one you will remember. Comfortable and complete with TV WiFi and fridge. Breakfast is substantial! Shower looked amazing but took a bit of fiddling to get right.

Il B&B è collocato in una delle zone più belle a mio parere, il sasso caveoso! Fermata della navetta a 2 minuti a piedi, comoda per chi come noi ha parcheggiato fuori dall’area ZTL. Niente, è stato tutto bellissimo!

Se nos complicó el día y llegamos tarde y Enzo nos esperó y estuvo atento a nosotros hasta que llegamos. Sin duda un lugar ideal para visitar esta maravillosa y única ciudad.

• Evelyn (9/5): A comfortable base for exploring the sassi with a breakfast of local products - Breakfast was beautifully arranged, with an assortment of local fresh fruits, cheeses (pecorina, ricotta, mozzarella and burrata), a plate of cold cuts, pastries, and freshly made bruschetta. Location was great. Hosts were welcoming and even offered to give us a packed breakfast on the last day as we were leaving early. Room was spacious (the one with the bath tub is much bigger than the one with the shower/ cistern, and if I were to recommend a cave room, it would be this one), water temperature and pressure was good, and the aircon kept the room comfortable. Wifi was excellent. Housekeeping comes daily. Also liked looking at the holes in the cave walls. At the end of the day, it's still a cave, so even with a dehumidifier and air conditioning, you will notice the moisture in the air on a hot afternoon, so I found it difficult to stay indoors for more than an hour or two in the day. It's fine at night though. Mini fridge could have been colder, and the freezer compartment drips a little, even when empty.

It was easy to find with the instructions provided. We parked our car in the parking facility suggested and it was straightforward to take the shuttle bus in to the city. The room itself was outstanding! It was very clean, the bed/pillows were comfortable and it was unique staying in a cave! The room was perfect! Breakfast was outstanding and plentiful, with fruit, pastries, cheese, bread and local delicacies! There was nothing not to like!
