• Katti (8/5): Nettes B&B - Es war sauber und alles vorhanden. Preis- und Leistung stimmten auch. Mir fehlte der persönliche Service. Man musste sich die Eier selbst kochen und leider ging die Kaffeemaschine nicht und wir konnten vor Ort keine schnelle Hilfe bekommen, da ja keiner da war. Das Zimmer im Erdgeschoss fühlte sich ein wenig wie ein Kellerzimmer an.

For elderly people(in their 80’s) instructions on how to operate the T V and some electrical appliances in the kitchen would be very helpful

• Stefanie (10/5): Charmantes BnB mit liebevollen Details - Das Freshwater BnB ist ein echtes Juwel in Hervey Bay! Es versteckt sich in einer kleinen Nebenstraße hinter einer auffälligen roten Tür. Der Check-in lief völlig unkompliziert über einen zugeschickten Code. Unser Zimmer war sehr gemütlich und ansprechend eingerichtet – im ersten Stock hatten wir sogar einen kleinen Balkon. Die Lage ist ideal, nur wenige Minuten zu Fuß vom Strand entfernt. Besonders begeistert hat uns die Gemeinschaftsküche, die toll ausgestattet ist und in der man alles benutzen darf, um selbst zu kochen. Das Frühstück ist hervorragend: Am Morgen ist der Tisch liebevoll gedeckt, es gibt frisches Obst, Brot und viele verschiedene Aufstriche. Das Charmante dabei ist, dass sich jeder sein Frühstück selbst zusammenstellt – sogar Eier können frisch zubereitet werden. Ein rundum tolles Konzept für ein wunderbares BnB – wir würden sofort wiederkommen!

Although the accommodations were not at fault, the persistent barking of a dog from 5am was unfortunately quite disappointing.

Windows bolted shut, cameras, overkill on cereals, spreads, kitchen gadgets (less is more). Felt a bit cluttered. Curtain instead of bathroom door downstairs. Having to share with a stranger. We were confused about sleeping arrangements (thought there were 3 rooms, not 4).

The bed was comfortable, and the shower was excellent. The courtyard out the front would be delightful in the summer. The room wasn't as clean as it could have been, ready for a new guest. There was evidence of a previous person there, surfaces were not wiped, shower curtain was dirty. We have no problem with an older building, but it should be spotless.

• Valentine (10/5): Little piece od paradies - Cutest BnB ever. The room was perfectly clean and cosy. The breakfast is stellar and the fresh organic bread is fluffy and to die for! There is so much attention to the details that everything is just perfect, thanks Scott for being such an great host! The guest laudry was very handy and on top of everything, is free! Would have loved to stay longer, Hervey Bay offers so much more than at first sight! Unfortunately we were too busy to just sit down on the so welcoming patio and just read a book and sip the all-day available coffee from the real coffee machine… make sure you keep time for that!
