- Mattilematti (10/5): Calm and Relaxing - Gorgeous view. Calm neighborhood. Clean spacious rooms. Nice staff. It's a very small hotel with few rooms so it never felt crowded or loud. The breakfast food was amazing as well. The front door is unlocked with a physical key so we had to ask for somebody to let us in or out. I think it's also quite overpriced.

This place was BEYOND the reviews and photos!!! So quiet, so beautiful. The staff was incredible!!! Booked the penthouse for my wife and I for our 20 year anniversary for the private pool and incredible view. I can’t recommend this hotel highly enough. I was hesitant only that any place to go is an uber drive, but the kitchen was absolutely amazing! We ate at least once a day at the hotel and staff would deliver it straight to our room. Some of the best coconut shrimp I have ever had!! The view from the hotel is 180 degrees of pure ocean bliss. Another great part is the isolation. Soooo quiet and peaceful and serene. Photos online can’t capture the views and certainly can’t capture the incredible staff and how attentive they were. Staff made it feel like home.

This is highly unprofessional and caused unnecessary stress during what should have been a joyful time. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who values reliability and good service.
- anthonytS267RV (10/5): A hidden paradise - My friends and I stayed here for our bachelor/bachelorette party. The staff was impeccable and friendly. The value of the food here was amazing. Juan and the other chefs made some world class meals. The cost of the food is really just the cost of the groceries + a small 10% fee. We went to some nice restaurants in town and the food here is equally as good but a fraction of the price. You can request nearly any type of meal or food and they will make it for you. The view itself is ridiculous and beautiful from every room. There's something about eating food right next to 180 degree views of the ocean. You can really just relax and talk with your buddies while looking out at one of the best views in all of PV. The amount of space here is massive and you can use multiple spaces to hang out / party. There are a total of 4 jacuzzis and 1 swimming pool. 9 massive rooms (two of them being on the penthouse floor). Lupita and Omar took very good care of any concerns we had. They even ordered got us a karaoke machine and ordered ufc 319 for us to watch. Overall I would rate this place a 10 and would recommend anyone use this for their birthday party/bachelor party/celebration.

- Divine444 (2/5): Penthouse Stay Turned Horror Show — Don’t Book Here! - I booked the penthouse suite at Villa Divina Boutique Hotel expecting luxury. What I got was a total mess. • I wasn’t given room keys for several hours after check-in. • Staff tried to come in and clean the windows after I had already checked in—why wasn’t that done beforehand? • There was NO hot water the entire time I was there, even though I reported it repeatedly. • The Smart TV in the master bedroom didn’t work. • I found a hair in the refrigerator, and there were dead bugs all over the suite—completely disgusting. • While preparing food, I noticed hundreds of tiny translucent bugs on the kitchen counter that I could barely see—absolutely unacceptable. • The final straw? A worker was outside my windows while I was getting dressed—a total invasion of privacy. • On top of everything, I felt like I was in prison because you can’t leave the hotel without a worker letting you out. It was scary and weird. This stay was chaotic, dirty, and handled with zero professionalism. Management clearly didn’t care. For the price, this place is an absolute joke! Do not waste your money here. You’re better off anywhere else.

- carylp2013 (10/5): Excellent, beautiful, and relaxing - My husband and I rented the penthouse for four days. It is FAR larger than the pictures show, but certainly just as beautiful, as is the entire property. Everything is available to you- room service/cocktails, and who knew my favorite food on the menu would be the chefs Lasagna !! She’s an excellent cook. Omar, who very professionally and kindly runs the place, is fantastic. The location is quiet and somewhat private, and surrounded by equally beautiful other large villas. It was absolutely clean and maintained, truly as pretty as you’re hoping it would be. We did have massage therapists come to the room, and they were fantastic. Only one complaint- the second bedroom/bathroom smells like sewer gas, as the relief valve is in the floor of the bathroom and the smell escapes from a drain in the floor. There is a cover over it, but it doesn’t quite do the trick. There isn’t much space to hang out with a group, as the living room area is set up and used as reception for guests, i.e. checkin and out. This property is an excellent value, and as a couple, we would return. The penthouse is worth every penny. Gracias Villa Divina !!
- amandasK7498HW (10/5): The best group trip ever! - Pictures do not do this magical place justice! I went with a group of 11 friends and it was the best trip we have ever taken. We are all ER nurses so we really need to relax and unwind when we are not at work and this place was perfect! We picked this place because all the rooms have balconies and ocean views, the location is quiet and peaceful but it's a very short drive to downtown, and the staff had wonderful reviews! We were spoiled by Pasual and Omar (waiters/barmen) during the entire trip. From arranging massages/nail services and making wonderful margaritas to getting a fantastic cake and singing for one of friends celebrating his birthday. We could not have asked for more. Juan (head chef) and Elisa (assistant chef) made such delicious and impressive meals. The steak they made for dinner on our first night was fantastic! Some members of our group went on a fishing charter and caught enough for dinner. Juan and Elisa cooked the fish in garlic and butter and it was great! The pools, jacuzzis and the rooms were sparkling and kept so clean. The view is breathtaking. Sometimes we just sat outside by the main pool for hours just talking and enjoying the view and the margaritas. As someone who plans group trips often, seriously look no further. You will not get a better view, location, or property, especially for the price. What really makes the place extraordinary: the people who work there. They were impressive to say the least!

The pool and hot tub were absolutely perfect—clean, well-maintained, and the ideal place to unwind. We spent hours just soaking and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. The food was fresh and delicious (made by the chef). I especially loved the fresh juice every morning—it was the perfect way to start the day. As well as the Flan! If you're looking for a relaxing getaway with great amenities and fresh, wholesome food, this place is a gem. I’ll definitely be coming back!

From being greeted with fresh mango margaritas the staff was very friendly every single member of that team was fantastic. I could not recommended this experience more especially to couples trying to spend their time in PV enjoying the beautiful views food and of course the beautiful people there. From the fantastic massages we had to the breath taking views . Only a 5-10 min drive to Malecón as well. Love this place and looking forward to staying here next time. LOVE LOVE LOVE this hotel

It’s a very pretty boutique hotel with incredibly friendly and hospitable staff. They made us feel right at home from the second we got there. It’s a little different than staying at some of the bigger resorts we’ve been to in PV. Pascual was handling our welcome, checkin, luggage and all. But he and the other staff were always very friendly and helpful. We usually stay on the beach so it was a fun change to stay up in the hills. It’s a beautiful area and we miss that view already. Wow!!! A five star view of PV and the ocean, plus some whales some mornings. The penthouse was spacious, had a great set up with kitchen and private pool, and was just what we needed for a perfect vacation. If you’re curious about the gym, most of the machines are very old and don’t really work. Even the treadmill belt would slip a bit. It’s a good space for working out but I was really only able to use the dumbbells. Not a deal breaker for me but good to know for those who want to workout while you’re there.

- Billi (8/5): Beautiful hotel with warm and friendly staff - Absolutely beautiful hotel, with amazing ocean sunset views! Located in a nice, safe, quiet area close to everything (by car). The room was spacious and comfortable and the staff was very very friendly and accomodating! -We booked a room with jacuzzi on the balcony. The jacuzzi was not warm until the day before we left (4 nt stay). Might not have made a difference in summer, but it was still chilly in Feb evenings so we could only use it one night. -There was no mini frig in the room, so we had no place to keep our own beverages. We asked for an ice bucket but were told "No. Ice buckets are only provided with room service orders." Apparently a room rate of $500+/nt isn't enough to get ice. -Guests are not allowed to leave the premises unless one of the hotel staff lets you out. You're virtually locked in. I found it only a little annoying, but it could be a safety issue.

The service was next level and all of the staff really took pride in their jobs. I would absolutely come back here and recommend to friends and family.

- Joanna (10/5): - This boutique hotel high up on the hill in the Conchas Chinas neighbourhood of PV is probably the nicest place we have ever stayed in. What a treat to have a spacious beautiful room, unbeatable views, attentive and personal service, great food and drinks. We stayed for a week and enjoyed every minute of it. We can't speak highly enough of Carmen, Pascual, Omar and the rest of the team. The walk down the hill to the gorgeous beaches just south of the main beach at PV is well worth it. The walk back up is not for everyone, although it is good exercise. Ubers are prompt, taxis are plentiful, so trips into the vibrant town and nightlight of the zone romanitca are easy and cheap. It is hard to find a fault at with this hotel - the elevator to the upper floors and strong wifi are also worth mentioning.
- 655JoannaS (10/5): Blissful luxury in boutique hotel - Our expectations were far exceeded by this beautiful small luxury hotel. The views high in the Conchas Chinas neighbourhood of PV are to die for. Sunsets, whales, lush tropical forests and birds. Our room was spacious, light, tasteful and comfortable. The service by all the staff was amazing - after a week staying there we felt like family. Carmen, Pascual, Omar, Juanito and the rest of the team looked after us so well. We enjoyed cocktails by the pool, beautifully prepared meals and attentive service. While being high up on the hill it’s still possible to walk down to the beaches below and along the shore to Puerto Vallarta. Walking back up isn’t for everyone but it is good exercise! It’s a short taxi or uber ride into the old town and zona romantica. The hotel has an elevator, and the wifi is strong and reliable. We can’t find any fault with this amazing hotel, and look forward to returning.

Did not use gym. Amazing view of the ocean. Small attentive staff. You can eat meals by the pool off the menu and food is good. Only 1-2 groups eating at a time. Mostly couples. Easy to drive/uber to Boca de Tomatlan to get a water taxi to go up the coast, or to go anywhere in PV. Would stay again.

We were a group of 10 and had plenty of room and we LOVED our time there. The view is insane and you can watch the most perfect sunset from the pool. 10/10 LITERALLY would stay again.✨

Due to small area, lunch for staff might be relocated. Otherwise, great!

The best part of our stay was she staff. We had an amazing time mostly because of them. They all made sure to take of us, in every special way. I want to give a special shout out to our team, including Pascual, Omar, Eliza, Juan, and Carmen. There was not a single moment where we were missing something. Excellent service all around and with a great attitude. I am Mexican born and raised in Michoacán and this crew definitely made sure to give us a proper Mexican welcoming and experience. I love each and every one of them and I love Villa Divina! Each one of the staff members I named deserves a heavy raise because they are 6 stars and beyond! Felt like a family the whole time we were with them, all love! <3

My partner and I were visiting from San Francisco we wanted a quiet, beautiful place to rest and relax and this was just that- incredible views, an amazing infinity pool, a comfortable room and caring and attentive service from the staff. The view, the sound of the birds, and the food/drinks are unbeatable. Pasquel and Omar were our primary points of contact, with Omar going above and beyond to provide tip-top service and Pasquel making the best passionfruit margarita I've ever had, hands down! You can tell the effort that all staff put into making each guest's experience amazing, everything from the food to the cleaning services was done with care, and I so appreciated the kindness of each person and the time they took to check in on our needs. I highly recommend this place for couples and folks looking for a peaceful and beautiful place to recharge.

Food was excellent and priced similar to restaurants in town. Staff were fun and amazing. A special thanks to Pasquali, Omar, Carmen, and the cook Lisa. If Omar asks if you want Jam in your omlette he means HAM. Room mentioned a kitchen but only a sink and no mini fridge. Hopefully that has changed. Walk to all beaches awesome but quite the incline back up. We loved the exercise! Also you get to see the jungle fauna (Super neat), flowers, and if your lucky some big lizards. Oh and of course Chachalacas. OXO conveinience store, taxi and bus stop at bottom of hill. So peacefull. A definate MUST STAY !!

- DayTrip60174639150 (10/5): Do it. The name of the place isn’t wrong. - Absolutely serine. The staff were sincere and authentically kind and interested. Their default answer to any questions was essentially “yes” and they found a way to make what ever it was, happen. Omar, Carmen, and Pascal made the already great facility, feel like a temporary home. There to greet you day and night. The entire facility was clean and everthing worked as expected. Good water pressure, plenty of hot water, the pool and hot tub were clean. My ONLY gripe is that the WiFi is terrible, essentially doesn’t work on any of our 4 devices. So slow that our devices defaulted to cell as there was “no data” connection on WiFi. I did not complain while I was there until check out as I have plenty of cell data, so it’s possible they could fix it, another two parties were having similar issues. They are currently installing an elevator. The location is about a 4 dollar Uber ride to the romantic district (the first major commercial area north) and about 45 min to the south is the botanical gardens (via public bus for 10 pesos that stops at the bottom of the hill. The views are amazing.

The servers/bartenders are incredible too. The food is to die for- the fresh fish with the anjillo seasoning melted in your mouth. Breakfast was perfection- eggs Benedict and French toast were our favorites. The rooms are exactly as they look in the pictures! We would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a romantic getaway.
