• P (1/5): A big no for this resort untill they come up with strong changes (positively) - I didnt like anything about it..I usually dont prefer to speak negative but my trip to this resort has disappointed me highly. the resort is huge but they are not able to manage it properly, hence, the overall experience goes down. Food qualty , cleanliness are compromised. the resort is situated at a location where you have no choice but to consume food provided by them. And , price what we paid for and the quality waht we received is inversely proportional. We saw pics on Booking.com and believed that this would be a good resort and got ready to pay higher prices. but this resort doesnt match anywhere. To sum it up, its a big No. food, cleanliness are compromised. Food quality is very poor.. cant take risk can cause health problems. Bathrooms have showergel, handwash and shampoo and all these 3 are one product, can you imagine you are washing your hair using handwash

Lift is old and scary . Cafeterias is really dirty and unhygienic. The bed was broken and staff not bothered to check the room before allotting.

• Rachna (1/5): PLease avoid going there. - The approach although a long drive was picturesque and the location was good. The staff was impolite with one guy who was very rude. I and my friend are above 50 years. we reached post lunch as we had a puncture and found lot of traffic. On politely requesting, the rude guy refused to arrange food. we said anything simple would do, even dal khichdi or a sandwich, since it was 4pm and we were very hungry, but he kept on repeating that we were late for lunch and would have to pay. I refused to pay as the amount paid included all meals. After a lot of futile arguing, he finally agreed but acted as if he had done a huge favor! The place is in shambles and looked deserted. There was no staff. the guy at the reception told us we have to carry our own luggage. The lift was at a distance and so was our room from the lift on the 3rd floor. The lift door was stuck and difficult to open and shut. I put my foot down again, Seeing me angry, the receptionist called another guy and they both got our bags. The rooms had a fabulous view, but were stinky and smelled damp. the toilet pot was shaking. There was no wifi in the room and no network in the whole area. Luckily my friend had a JIo connection, which was the only thing working. The spa was shut. Lunch was okay, dinner was pathetic with most items served stale. You could tell just by looking. The tent area was broken. we came to know the place has been sold and understood that it is undergoing renovations. Nobody was bothered. By evening two families came in. Thats it! By 9pm, I and my friend were out of that deserted place, drove for an hour and checked into another hotel. Our booking money for two nights stay with Rainforest all went to waste as it's a non-refundable booking. I had read their reviews before booking, which is something I always do. Just skipped one detail when I checked after this horrid experience. They have removed the dates from the reviews. We thought they were current. Just the two boys who were on reception duty, during day and night, were very helpful and polite.

We had booked from the booking.com app and when we reached the hotel they said they haven't received any confirmation of the booking and can give you some other room which was in very bad condition. My credit card was charged at the time of confirming the reservation only. whereas it said no advance payment need to be made. The room provided was dirty. I was asked to pay extra on location. I had no choice but to pay. There was no hot water in one bathroom. Bathroom fittings were broken, rusty and not working. Beds were uncomfortable. sheets were smelly and dirty. Towels were dirty and old. Room stank. Poor maintenance and hygiene standards Rooms could be cleaner. Hot water, clean bed linen and towels. Reception o room was a long walking distance. There should have been a buggy or a cart to transfer guests to their rooms. Huge group was checking outside the reception and there was no one manning the reception so we had to wait for some one to come. No directory of services and facilities. No contact where we could call for assistance. No restaurant where one can eat or ask for tea coffee

It started off with saying that we can't consider 14 yr old kid and we need to pay in addition. Then when we showed them the booking.com reservation they agreed. Then they offered us wooden cottage, which was horrible. All the things were broken right from sink, jet even hangers....TV wasn't operational. The bed was making lot of noise. We then complained to the front-desk, post then they changed the room in another building which was slightly better.

• Anonymous (1/5): Terrible regretted booking in this resort - Nothing at all To begin with we were shocked to see the room for which we paid so much! The bedsheet n towels provided were full of stains. Food was bad quality and there were hardly any items. My 3 year old kid who accompanied us had nothing to eat in those 2 days from the menu. No water bottles were provided on the second day they were restricted to first day! Absolutely no cleanliness in and around. When we asked for upgrading to villla looking at the condition of the room we were denied upfront saying everything is full when that was actually not the case! In spite of being ready to pay more we were not provided any alternative options to stay. We had a very terrible experience first time ever in a resort at such an expense!
