The apartment is a boat ride away from the main train station. Bathroom shower was not clean .very grubby. The shower wouldn't also drain properly and water builds up when having a shower.
• JINA (9/5): - 호스트는 굉장히 친절했어요. 오래된 건물이지만 잘 관리를 했고 화장실은 매우 현대식입니다. 매트리스를 새 걸로 바꾸면 정말 좋을텐데 그게 좀 아쉽습니다. 산마르코광장까지 걸어서 20분 정도 거라지만 별로 문제되지 않았고 바포레토를 타면 금방 가는 위치입니다. 조용해서 오히려 더 좋았어요. 불편한 점 없었습니다.

• Sergio (8/5): Cómodo; pero podría ser gestionado de mejor manera para una experiencia completa. - La habitación estaba limpia, y era amplia. El lugar era cercano a centros de interés, para una estadía corta, eso es lo que se busca. El check in era inflexible; si la entrada es digital, podrían gestionarlo mejor. Salimos y dejamos la TV prendida, y al regresar encontramos nuestra puerta de la habitación abierta y TV apagada; no nos faltaba nada, pero nos pareció extraño.

• Stephani (10/5): Would definitely stay here again! - It was a great location! We spent one night in Venice and then took the ferry to Croatia. It was a 5 minute walk to the port to get on the ferry! We were allowed to store our luggage after check out while we explored the city which was very convenient. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable, but that is the only negative thing I could say! Our host was excellent and the property was great as well!

• Christina (1/5): - Leider war die Unterkunft Ca Bea die bisher schlechteste Erfahrung, die wir auf Reisen gemacht haben! Wir raten stark davon ab, die Unterkunft zu buchen! Da wir aufgrund der langen Anreise lediglich 15 Minuten nach vereinbarter Zeit am Bnb ankamen, wurde uns der Check-In verwehrt. Obwohl wir frühzeitig über die leichte Verspätung aufgrund eines Staus informiert hatten, war der Gastgeber nicht bereit uns den Check-In zu ermöglichen. Auch der bereits bezahlte Betrag wurde nicht rückerstattet. Es schien Teil eines Geschäftsmodells, das darauf ausgelegt ist, Touristen abzuzocken - denn bei längerer Anreise kann es immer zu unvorhergesehenen Verspätungen kommen. Wenn du dieses Geschäftsmodell nicht unterstützen möchtest, bitte auf keinen Fall buchen!! Es gibt viele andere Unterkünfte, insbesondere auch ausserhalb von Venedig Insel, die den bezahlten Betrag wert sind.

• Alessandro (7/5): - Stanza piccola ma pulita Il check in si fa dalle 14.00 alle 18:30 non oltre, la stanza va restituita entro le 10:40. I proprietari li ho visti solo quando sono arrivato poi si entra nella struttura e in stanza con un codice. Frigobar sguarnito, come se non ci fosse.

• Hayley (8/5): Quiet pleasant location with everything you need for a short stay. - The property was in a good location, only a short walk to the nearest water bus station and outside of the tourist spots so quieter. The room was a good size and had everything we needed. The check in time had a cut off of 6.30pm, which caused us some stress as we had delayed / cancelled trains throughout the day, which meant we had to buy a new ticket in order to be there before the check in cut off. Check in instructions could have been left on a message to save the stress. The room was slightly chilly, so we used blankets at night.

• Grzegorz (9/5): Recommended stay - There was absolutely great contact with Ca Bea staff before the stay. They were responsive, gave clear instructions. We were contacting them via booking before our stay to let them know when we'll arrive and the owner, Paola, waited for us. She gave clear instructions on the site of what's what in the room and she shared wonderfull recommendations of food, especially great family trattoria Pan e Vin not far away. Moreover, there was a binder with other places and recommendations of food and places to visit, which was also very helpful As this was end of the season Paola offered us the AC for free which was very nice addition. The room was generally clean. Paola also offered to hold our luggage if we wanted to stay in Venice a little bit longer after our check-out. The only problem we had was some fungus on the AC unit and shower handle but Paola said that it will be cleaned.

O dono fez a gentileza de liberar, mas ele não vela o suficiente. O quarto é grande e a potência não é suficiente. Para brasileiros que estão acostumados com o calor, pode ser difícil dormir.

• Judith (10/5): Beautiful room w all one could want a retreat from the crowds of tourists - I knew my stay would be perfect when the owner unexpectedly met me w a warm greeting on the bridge across the canal to her guesthouse. Tho I had selected Ca Bea for proximity to ferry I would stay here again given the beautiful, thoughtfully appointed room in a quiet, nontouristy area of Venice. Was a nice retreat away from the crowds. Literally everything one might need or like for an overnite stay had been thought of— even a closet to leave your bags after checkout. The warmth & kindness of owner was much appreciated. I will be recommending Ca Bea to family & friends. I loved everything about it. Given I had selected it for location within walking distance to ferry & water ‘bus’ I was thrilled to discover it met my desire to escape the usual crowds of tourists & to experience a ‘real’ neighborhood w cafes & shops frequented by residents. Yet I could walk to those sites taking in real Venice life on my way.

Easy check in and great co - We loved the location, hidden on the quiet streets but not far from some amazing food and views. The room was spacious and comfortable, especially the large bed! We loved everything!

• Craig (8/5): Very good - Great for our one night stay. It’s a nice quiet spot compared to the madness of San Marco but a bit of a walk to get to the main tourist sights. That did t bother us but may be a problem for some. Our host was always responsive and an excellent help throughout our stay and allowing us to keep our bags on the property after check out was such a bonus.

Facilities; large room, plenty of storage, little touches such as insect repellent, adaptor as standard adaptors don’t fit all sockets in Italy, lots of information on the area. Good quality bed sheets. Modern bathroom. Extra pillows and blankets available in the room. Unfortunately we found the bed in our room very uncomfortable. It was soft, and uneven with a dip in the middle, and squeaky springs.

Federico helped us with everything we needed and gave us a guide to the city that included everything we needed. The bathroom sometimes smelled but that must be normal for the canals. • Leila (7/5): Good value stay in a delightful and less touristy part of Venice - The staff were excellent at Ca Bea, they had so many tips on getting around and restaurants. They were also flexible with luggage storage. It is in the booking info but just be aware there is a 20 euro additional charge for air con (which is a definite must in summer months). The location is in a lovely quiet area but quite a walk if you have a lot of luggage and have to carry over multiple bridges from the train station.

Good access to bus station and water bus into main square. Close to lots of restaurants. The offer for us to pay 20 euros for air-conditioning. Expensive. Why not add it to the price and include it, then we wouldn't feel annoyed about it. Shower a little small.

Also when you enter the hotel, a wonderful smell greets you 🥹. The owner of the hotel Federico is very nice, kind and helpful. He showed us everything and tried to help about everything. We didn’t want to leave the hotel🥺 Definitely, it’ll be our first choice on our next trip to Venice. 🥳🙏🏻

The teacups were so lovely as was the decor. The bathroom was modern. Fabulous link to absolutely everything you need. The location great 15/20min walk from train. Maybe the bed was a little firm for us and also the pillows, but everyone has different likes of bedding.... Not a problem.

The location is ideal—just a 5-10 minute walk from all the must-see sites, allowing me to explore different routes throughout the day without ever feeling worn out. The room itself was a delight. It was not only super cozy and impeccably clean, but also beautifully decorated with local style aesthetics that added a charming, authentic touch. The access to the room was both safe and straightforward, making my stay smooth and stress-free. PS: The restaurants recommended by Federico and Paola were splendid—so good that just thinking about them makes me miss Venice already. Honestly, there was nothing I didn't like about Ca Bea. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a genuinely welcoming and comfortable experience in Venice.
