Guest Reviews
- Dave (10/5): An unexpected gem. - A really lovely and unexpected find! The accommodation was very comfortable and clean and the views were stunning. Very quiet and great for walkers. We will be returning.
- Demis (10/5): Such a beautiful venue, absolutely perfect stay. - Nothing short from a little gem. Beautiful views, great hosts and convenient location.
We went Cardiff one day and Brecon Beacons National park for the rest of our trip. Really enjoyed our stay and tempted to extend a bit longer.
Will surely keep on my favourites for a future trip.
Thank you!
- Theresa (10/5): A real little treasure! - A beautiful and peaceful spot with an amazing garden and view. Luxurious real linen sheets what a treat! Everything so clean and the owner was so friendly and helpful. Excellent area for walking and relaxing, so peaceful especially with the sound of the water feature in the garden. Bathroom is shared but as there are only two rooms, no problem at all and absolutely spotless with a huge shower area. Good Wifi. Highly recommended and will definately book again when visiting the area, we were sorry to leave!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The room was nice and quiet with access to a beautiful garden. Although there was a shared bathroom there were no other guests.
- Dennis (10/5): Fantastic! - Fantastic. Great, welcoming hosts and just a clean and great room.
- Dave (10/5): Very relaxing stay - Exceptionally friendly and clean
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good value B&B - Friendly host, basic b&b. Comfortable, clean and very quiet
- Laura (6/5): Very well kept but not for me - This was a very well kept property, spotlessly clean and in good condition. It was more like an airbandb though. The rooms are essentially in the (very pretty) backgarden with everyone sharing one bathroom (shower, no bath). There are a lot of practical issues with the property despite the very friendly owner. Firstly, it is difficult to find. It is on a very steep single track road which is about a one in four. The properties are named not numbered so it is difficult to tell when you are near: you can't pass any vehicles on the road and it is not lit. The parking means sweeping off this very small road (and therefore backing back onto it.) We had a twin room and one of the beds was very short: we had to swap in the night as my 5 foot 9 inch daughter didn't fit. There were insufficient plug sockets in the room. To work the kettle an adaptor was added to the socket and three plugs were in there. There was nowhere to charge anything up and those electrics really need making into permanent sockets.
It was spotlessly clean and warm.
- Victoria (10/5): Idyllic Stay - Stunning scenery, beautiful accommodation and a very helpful and accommodating host. We couldn’t have asked for a more pleasant weekend and will definitely be returning to Wild Winds as soon as time allows. Highly recommended!
- Darren (10/5): Great Value - Very clean and cosy. I slept like a log. Friendly owner. Patio area from the room is great.
- Faisal (6/5): - It was good. Only thing was the bathroom was not ensuite.
- Lee (10/5): - Lovely hotel with the most incredible views. Very friendly staff. Highly recommend.
