• Alexa905 (2/5): - I really regret staying in this place. Nothing can ruin the experience of visiting Tokyo more than dirty accommodation. It didn’t seem like the place had been properly cleaned or disinfected after previous guests - even visible garbage was left behind, in bathroom, room, and on the shelf near bed. This would be unacceptable anywhere, but I was especially shocked to experience this in Japan, where I expected much better standards. I stayed only one night because the location worked well for me. The dorm is not designed for a quiet stay at all. There is a toilet right in the middle of the room area with very loud doors. Even my wax earplugs could not block out the noise during night. I reported this place to Booking for anti-hygiene and I also plan to report it to the sanitation authorities.

• Yukio (2/5): Bad hostel, good location - The location, and just that. It was extremely dirty. In my bed there was a pack of bread with mold and in my friend's bed there was dirty clothes from the previous guest. They ask us to take of our shoes, but someone else just took our shoes slot and slipper. The shower room there was no private place to change clothes, so you kinda have to get naked in front of other people or wait to take shower in a time no one is going to take shower. And there was no outlet at the bed to charge my phone.

• Claudia (2/5): Lo más asqueroso que he visto - La cama era cómoda y el hotel tenía buena ubicación. El personal de recepción amable, pero la chica de la limpieza vaga y desagradable. Las duchas para mujeres… no tengo palabras para lo asqueroso que estaba, TODO LLENO DE PELOS Y POLVO, todo mojado todo el rato, las alfombrillas de la ducha asquerosidad absoluta, vamos me quedé flipando, es normal que no pongan fotos de los baños… todo asqueroso, por no decir que en la entrada había un fuerte olor a pies que era muy desagradable. Además, entrada había las habitaciones había condones usados en el suelo y todo lleno de basura, la verdad que el hotel más asqueroso en el que he estado, no volvería a repetir ni loca.

• Ricardo (8/5): Buena estancia cerca de la estación. - Un buen lugar para hospedarse cerca de una estación del metro. La habitación esta limpia y es de buen tamaño. Estas a unos cuantos pasos de la estación de metro mas cercana. Los baños están limpios pero no pude hacer uso de las regaderas. No entendí si había que pagar para usarlas ó si las monedas que había a la entrada de estas eran para que los huéspedes hicieran uso de ellas. La cortina de la habitación bloquea bien la luz pero es muy gruesa, y como la capsula no tiene ventilación interna, hay que dejarla un poco abierta para que haya buena ventilación.

• Aditi (8/5): Good and comfortable - Nice for a short term stay, however having a locker free of cost would make it more efficient. Overall it was a good stay. The location was great and the staff was very welcoming! And also special mention there’s a bathtub bathroom in the female washroom. Having a locker free of cost.

• Ričards (4/5): Terrible smell and unsafe storage spaces - Many convenience stores and restaurants nearby, close to the station. Easy to go to places like Golden Gai and Kabukicho from the hostel. Very dirty showers and bathrooms. I believe that they don't have cleaning staff, because the smell if horrible. There is also no real safe space for larger luggage, the lockers that they have are so small it's crazy. They even ask for 2000yen safety deposit for the locker! The price does not fit the quality at all. I would recommend other options

• Ella (5/5): Get what you pay for - Good showers and you get what you pay for at the cheap rate Rooms/places stink of feet/shoes! Depends on who is in your room but can be loud people but that’s all hostels
• mitch (1/5): Absolutely awful - Filthy uncomfortable amenities didn't work. The only saving grace were the kind staff. Just to mention the clientele were insaciably loud and got zero sleep. Avoid!!!!! I didn't like anything.
• Juan Guillermo (1/5): AVOID AT ALL COSTS - Nothing at all Avoid Ace Inn Shinjuku in Tokyo at all costs. This was one of the worst accommodation experiences I’ve had. For at least 5 consecutive days, there was no proper cleaning of shared bathrooms or common areas, despite being used by more than 20–27 guests. The result was clearly unsanitary conditions and a complete lack of basic hygiene. Even when cleaning was eventually attempted, it was superficial and did not resolve the situation. Essential supplies like toilet paper were often insufficient, which is unacceptable given the number of people sharing the facilities. The condition of the common areas was shocking. The shared microwave was extremely dirty, wet inside, and visibly rusted, making it completely unhygienic and unusable. Overall, the property shows a serious lack of maintenance and basic care. This place does not meet even minimum standards and should not be operating under these conditions. I strongly recommend avoiding it and choosing alternative accommodation.

Facilities were dreadful and unclean. Bed had some zyn pouches in the corner, bathrooms were dirty and always out of hand soap (for the entirety of my stay). Downstairs bathroom toilet was clogged for two days. The shower coin machines were always full or broken. Two of the shower drains were clogged. Showers often didn’t have shampoo or body wash. Main entrance smelled atrocious because of all the shoes. Elevator smelled pretty bad too. All in all pretty gross.

• David (6/5): It was fine. - Very cheap and convenient, location for the price can’t be beat. Staff is nice enough. Been staying here for almost 2 decades, and post-COVID the facilities are really showing their age, despite the recent updates in the past couple years. The atmosphere is not as inviting as it used to be. Feels very old and sterile now in a way it didn’t previously. Lots of signs posted all over threatening legal action and/or fines for violating facility rules.
• Tom (5/5): Gemischte Gefühle beim Aufenthalt - Die Lage ist super und es ist günstig. Und das Personal war nett. Das Hostel ist sehr ungepflegt. Die Betten waren halbwegs sauber aber das war es auch. Die Waschräume und die Lounge/Küche waren wirklich widerlich. Ich verstehe, dass das vor allem an anderen Gästen lag. Ich erwarte trotzdem das das Hostel sich drum kümmert hin und wieder sauber zu machen.

Sabah 7 gibi yatakhanede belli bir ülkenin vatandaşları çok konuşuyor ırkçılık yapmayı sevmem ama 1 saat boyunca herkesi rahatsız ettiler ve tuvaleti kullanmayı bilmiyorlar çok pis bıraktılar. Gözlerimle gördüm o yüzden kesin konuşuyorum.
