Piscine au top avec une très belle vue sur la verdure et la mer. La route d’accès est un peu chaotique mais le cadre à l’arrivée est une belle récompense.

• Lübke (10/5): Very loving and friendly staff who took such care that we would have the best and most comfortable stay possible. Would - It was very cozy and homey. The surroundings were so peaceful and calm and we could really wind down and rest.

Possibility to eat dinner here, we didn’t use it. Breakfast was ok. Staff was very nice. Refrigerator made a lot of noise. You really need a scooter if you want to be mobile around this hotel.

• Richard (4/5): Below expectations - Not alot, perhaps a half decent view and peaceful Difficult to get to, even for a local tourism operator as it's rather tucked away down an awkward track.Not close to anything so without organized or own transport its a nightmare. Breakfast was included but very bland, basic, and very uninspiring. Room was very tired and old and dated. Needs renovating. Aircon worked but water running down the wall and behind the power sockets and onto the floor and entry door. Bed was horrible. A just fitted bed sheet and a top sheet for what was,suitable for a baby's cot. Totally unsuitable for a couple. Basic facilities in the room. Very disappointed. Owner was nice as was a helper but otherwise wouldn't recommend it to anyone. No TV but the bolts in the wall showing it used to hang. Limited wifi. Driveway very difficult to navigate to the accommodation even for a good driver. Etc etc

• Martyna (5/5): Ugh, the worst apartment during whole out trip. Try something better. - Cleanliness No water or only very very poor pressure every day (we spent 4nights!!!) ; it was so bad, that 2 different person couldn’t bath in the same time. for sure it doesn’t deserve for any other point than 5/10; breakfast was so poor that almost uneatable. U can get only one glass of drink (juice from box/ random tea or Nescafé), no matter what. Food was usually cold and really bad. Rooms need for sure renovation. Beds were unpleasant, furniture old, payment only by cash. To be true they help to rent the motorbikes or call a taxi, but nothing more. We will not recommend it to anybody. For sure not worthy the price.
• Atef (1/5): Disastrous experience: theft, lies, and intimidation - This hotel is a danger to any traveler. Not only are your belongings not safe, but the management is irresponsible, dishonest, and threatening We were victims of a $750 theft in this hotel, and the way the owners handled the situation was absolutely unacceptable. Here are the facts: * On the day of the check out, we counted our money before leaving the hotel for a short one hour walk. * During this time, our bag remained in the locked room. We are certain that the housekeeper was responsible for several reasons: 1. She was the only person around who saw us leave that morning 2. When we returned, despite never having spoken to us before, she started asking suspicious questions, such as how long we were planning to stay on the island. 3. She seemed surprised to learn that we were only changing hotels but staying on Bohol 4. She also mentioned she had a small salary, which suggests she was in financial need. After our return, we changed hotels and the bag stayed with us constantly from that moment on. Later while counting the money to exchange it, we realized that $750 was missing. We immediately went back to the hotel, as it was clear that the theft occurred there. The reaction from the owners was unacceptable: * They rejected all responsibility and even blamed us, claiming that we shouldn’t have left money in the room or we should have informed them * The owner made inappropriate comments, criticizing us for carrying so much cash * They attempted to intimidate us, claiming that the owner was a lawyer and later a prosecutor, clearly trying to scare us. * They also lied, saying their son was at the hotel all day, which would have prevented the housekeeper from accessing the key. However, we have messages proving that he was at the barber shop during our absence. * When we mentioned leaving public reviews about the incident, the owner became extremely aggressive, approaching us dangerously and prevent us from leaving the property. * We genuinely felt unsafe and decided to leave the property immediately. We strongly advise against staying at this property if you are looking for a safe and pleasant experience.
• Konstantin (10/5): Amazing place to stay in Bohol - Great view, very welcoming owner who helps also organising transport and answer any questions. Good breakfast, surrounded by nature, very relaxing. Air conditioning in the room is newer than it was on the picture and very quiet. The road can be a bit challenging especially when it’s raining a lot.

• Gwen (9/5): Recommend! - If you plan on renting a motorbike, this is the place to have your homebase! Big and comfortable rooms (best we had yet & with good working aircon), clean pool and the best view! The owner and women working here will assist you with anything you need. Not really any dislikes. Breakfast could be improved. It was okay, but only 1 option and we missed some real coffee. A lot of ants. We weren't too bothered by it, but might become a problem if not handled.

• Laura (10/5): Amazing little oasis in the middle of nature. - The property is beautiful, with a relaxing swimming pool with sea view. The owners are very friendly and ready to help. The room was spacious with everything you need. It’s located in the middle of nature so you need a scooter to move around. It’s close to Loboc and the Tarsier sanctuary. As everywhere in nature, you can find some ants in the room but nothing dramatic.
• Hannah (8/5): Very good - The hotel offers a nice view over trees and the ocean and the pool is absolutely amazing. You must drive on a bumpy road to get there but it’s worth it. The staff was also really nice and made us extra early breakfast! The only bad thing is, that there are ants everywhere. There was an ant road going through our whole room, also close to our bed. At breakfast, there was only one table, that wasn’t conquered by them. That was the only annoying about thing the hotel.

The rooms are big and comfy, with a nice view of the island. We love it There is a small part of the road full of stones that you have to watch out. Nothing that impact the amazing stay

• Ashley (10/5): Beautiful spot for amazing views & relaxation, a great base for exploring the island of bohol - We had the most wonderful stay at Vidas, a truly beautiful escape, the hotel is self is boutique with only four rooms so it never felt over crowded, we often had the amazing pool with spectacular views to ourselves! The family who runs this place are so so nice, couldn’t have helped us more with renting a scooter, booking taxis, making us breakfast etc and they kindly invited us along to a fiesta evening! What fantastic hosts and what a fantastic few days of rest and relaxation! Book here if you want the best views! Rooms are big with outdoor space, cold AC and hot showers. You will definitely need a scooter and you will probably need to ride at least 15 mins in each direction to hit the busier areas for things like restaurants, not an issue for us but worth noting! Good places to eat we found close by were On Board Bohol (5 min scooter) and Joes motorbike rental (also does food, 6 min scooter)

• Norcutt (10/5): 10/10 would definitely go back. - Lovely hosts. Spent my birthday there and felt very welcome. AMAZING VIEW Far drive from panglao (main area for tourists) but we preferred this as was more quite.

The commute to the place. On the first day, it was inconvenient bec we didnt have a car. We were told to rent a motorcycle at the neighborhood and it was the best decision. Other than that, the hotel is excellent. The food option for breakfast was only a few, it would be good if there were options, like dried fish, fresh fish menu, pancit(simple food that we missed in Phil).

• Tom (9/5): Serene stay in the mountains with a beautiful pool - Beautiful hotel, it lies perfectly in the mountains with a view of the sea, the pool is much bigger than anticipated and its all very clean. The rooms are spacious, bed is comfortable, its all really good. Also we could find the spot easily just using Google Maps, but it’s recommended to have your own vehicle or to use a taxi. Lastly, the staff is very friendly and was always there to help us. We had a room with an airco that was a bit outdated. It made a lot of noise, so we had to turn it off during the night. Also, no shower curtain, but we’ve seen this almost everywhere in SE asia.

• Erica (7/5): Don’t be fooled by the photos - The photos and price definitely lured us into Vidas. It was nice to stay in the countryside for a couple of nights, but there was only one place near by to rent a scooter to get around to see the sights of Bohol, which was more expensive then Panglao Island. Beautiful balcony overlooking the sea in the distance. I was quoted 60 peso/kg for laundry then once arrived at the property the price change to PHP 100/kg, which was disappointing. The room was fine, small ensuite toilet/shower so after a shower it’s wet everywhere. The room was spacious but setup was a bit odd with bed pushed to one corner, not necessary and made it hard for two people to get in and out. The couch again pushed in the corner next to tv for strange viewing angle. There was a small kitchenette with a minibar provided, though again poorly fitted out. Example noodle cups in minibar with 1 teaspoon available to eat it with.
• Femke (9/5): Wonderful place to stay - The location is wonderful. It is nice and quite with beautiful views from the swimmingpool or balcony. The staff is really friendly and thoughtful. It is possible to rent a scooter and they can arrange pick-ups. Our ferry was cancelled, so we had a ferry in the afternoon and they let us stay in the room untill 14.00 without extra charge (there was no other booking after us). We thought the places lookes better and is more spacious than it seems on the picture. We really loved our stay here! The warm water supply wasn’t reliable.

• Oyette (10/5): Exceptional - If I could recommend somewhere to stay in Bohol, it's definitely here! Especially so if you want to escape the city and just be in a quiet environment with nature. It was in a great location in relation to the chocolate hills, tarsier, etc., but also close enough. Diane was incredibly kind and understanding even before we arrived. The apartment itself was immaculate, fully equipped with everything we needed (and more), and the views couldn't be beaten. -
• Luca (10/5): Exceptional - -it's just near the city but it is far enough to have a peaceful stay. - facilities were complete. fast wifi. i work remotely so very helpful - they even have a pool with a view. - this place is best when your itinerary is to chocolate hills, river cruise, etc. because you can also rent a motorbike. - upon check out we were also assisted by the staff.
• Francisco (3/5): Not worth it. Bad and far location. Cannot use kitchen. - nothing it is far muddy road drive from the highway, and cannot use kitchen. TV does not work. Low water pressure. Staff not serviceable.
