• Parussolo (10/5): - Les lits en suspensions dans le dortoir sont une expérience sympathique (ils peuvent être baissés au sol sur demande). C'est un très grand dortoir mais il y a des separations.tous les 2-3 lits et l'espace est ouvert vers l'exterieur, on ne s'en rend pas.compte. Les parties communes (piscine, plusoeurs espaces de détente) sont top. Le.personnel était très agréable. Les sanitaires sont plutot propres mais la douche a vraiment très peu de pression, en tant que femme aux cheveux longs, il fait être patiente 😅

• Javi (10/5): Lovely stay, super comfortable, and amazing staff. - It was perfect! I stayed in the dorm room and it was super comfortable. The bathrooms were always clean, and the pool and overall atmosphere were beautiful. The staff were also amazing, truly 10/10. I ended up extending my stay for two more nights and honestly could have stayed even longer. Would definitely stay here again! The only small thing I’d mention is that the breakfast could include a bit of fruit, as many other places usually offer some. Even so, there are 3 different menu options to choose from, which was great.

• Annmarie Mira (10/5): Sehr gut :-) - Sehr schöne Anlage! Zu dem Dorm kommt man über eine steile Treppe. Er befindet sich oben. Dort gibt es den Dorm mit 18 Betten, diese sind aber so abgegrenzt, dass man nur zu dritt schläft. Es gibt ein durchsichtiges Moskitonetz zur Abgrenzung. Die Toiletten befinden sich unten. Dort gibt es auch noch einen kleinen Aufenthaltsbereich. Es hat bei meinem Aufenthalt geregnet. Man wird nicht nass. Der Boden ist sehr laut. Frühstück war klein.

Nous venions en temps que couple et l’établissement ne s’y prête pas forcément C’est une auberge de jeunesse donc peu d’intimité La chambre est convenable même si la salle de bain pourrait être améliorée Pas de couverture uniquement un drap pour le lit Petit déjeuner avec tout les clients de l’hostel, une ambiance sympa mais pas l’idéal pour un séjour en amoureux

• Luana (10/5): - Super bem localizado. Fica a poucos minutos da praia. E da para ir do Porto até o hostel andando, ao invés de pegar uma carroça. Leva cerca de 10 minutos de caminhada. O café da manhã super saboroso e todos os funcionários uns queridos e super atenciosos. A cam suspensa incomoda um pouco. Porque qualquer movimento ela balança super. • Verena (10/5): - I had an excellent stay at Captain Coconuts in Gili Air. The hotel truly feels like an oasis of tranquility. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming, and the entire team is incredibly kind and gentle. The pool at the center of the property is idyllic — swimming there while frangipani flowers fall from the surrounding trees feels almost magical. It’s the kind of place where it’s very easy to slow down and fully relax. What really shows the level of hospitality, though, is how they handle things when something goes wrong. After checking out and traveling to another island, I realized I had left behind my necessaire with all my makeup, creams, and jewelry. The team immediately stepped in to help. They quickly organized for it to be sent on the next boat, and only a few hours after realizing what had happened I had everything back with me. A special thanks to the crew who made this possible — Rizal from housekeeping who retrieved my bag, and Indra from reception who carefully packaged it and sent it over. It was truly a team effort between housekeeping and the front of house, and I’m very grateful. A beautiful place with genuine care and hospitality. I would happily stay here again.
• Nora Sophie (5/5): - Die Lage war in Ordnung. Das Personal hat ungefragt die Telefonnummer einer jungen Frau an einen fremden Mann weitergegeben . Das hat mich sehr beneidet und als ich die jungen Frau darin unterstützt habe sich zu beschweren habe sie es bestätigt die Nummer rausgegeben zu haben waren danach aber sehr ungehalten . Ich bin viele Jahre sehr gerne her gekommen werde aber noch der Erfahrung nicht wieder kommen . Und werde alleinerziehende Frauen in Zukunft davon Abraten.

• Rita (7/5): Interesting to experience - I really liked the aesthetic and the views from the dorm. Also, the privacy and quietness. The bed is not very comfortable. Was eaten alive by the mosquitoes, mostly when going to the bathroom. The staff seemed annoyed to be there and by our presence, and felt observed while in the pool.
• saija (10/5): Budjettimatkaajan unelma paikka😎 - Majoittauduin 5 yötä dormipedissä. Vuode oli yläkerrassa, avoimessa ulkoilmassa katto oli kylläkin. Hyönteisverho oli suojana erilaisilta ötököiltä se antoi riittävän näkösuojan nukkumiselle. Uima-allas oli raikas ja muutama aurinkovuode oli altaan ympärillä. Yhteinen wc ja suihku olivat puhtaat. Pieni Aamupala kuului lisänä todella edullisen vuodepaikan hintaan. Muukin ruoka oli edullista ja hyvää. Henkilökunta oli sopivan ystävällistä, itse en yltiöystävällidyydestä välitä. Matka rannalle ja keskustaan oli lyhyt, 10 minuutissa olit molemmissa. Suosittelen yksinmatkustavalle, kannattaa ottaa useampi yö jos mahdollista👍 Ei ollut mitään mistä en pitänyt.

• Lydia (9/5): Quiet paradise - The property was clean & peaceful. Intimate property which is a hidden paradise. The staff were friendly and accommodating of my needs. I stayed in one of the villas which was comfortable, spacious and clean. The breakfast that was included in the room rate was healthy, fresh and delicious. Only thing I would suggest is that whilst the room is spacious there is only a small space for luggage in the villas. It was enough for one person however you would struggle to fit luggage for 2 people.

On y dort super bien et les lits sont changés chaque matin. La piscine et les transats pour se poser A 5 mn à pied du sunset et des resto de plage Dommage qu'il n'y ai rien pour sécher le linge des guest des dortoirs. Pas d'eau chaude a dispo pour les lèves tôt pour se faire un petit nescafé en attendant le petit déjeuner a partir de 8 h. C d'ailleurs un peu tard je trouve. Pas de porte manteau dans les douches pour poser sa serviette
• Caroline (9/5): Amazing place but the dorm isn’t for everyone - The location is great. The hotel is amazing : the pool, the facilities, the garden, the hamacs… Everything is super clean. The dorm is spacious and very unique. And the price …. I mean … I couldn’t handle the hanging bed. I slept really well on my first night but had some inner ear problem the next day. Felt sea sick for a couple of days and had to change hotel eventually. But yeah that’s just me. Also, because you wake up with the sun when you are in the dorm, being outside with no doors or windows, starting breakfast at 8.00 is a bit harsh… I ended up having breakfast outside.

• Merry (10/5): Cet hôtel rend le séjour très agréable ! - Les lits sont super, la piscine est très apaisante et très jolie ! Des petites fleurs de frangipanier tombe dedans, on se baigne au milieu des fleurs, très belle vue sur les palmiers et la piscine depuis le grand dortoirs. L’emplacement est idéal. Le personnel est discret. Cocktails en happy hour, très bon ! Et salle de bain communes propres ! Je recommande ☺️🌺 et j’y retournerai Menu des repas végétarien et pas beaucoup de choix, mais sinon tout est parfait !

Très jolie endroit La nourriture était bonne La piscine était parfaite pour se détendre Le personnel est accueillant :) et propose des tarifs intéressants pour les excursions en bateaux par exemple Un tout petit peu plus de choix en terme de nourriture Et le bungalow manque d’isolation, il y avait des geko mais cela n’a pas impacté réellement la qualité de notre séjour

• Caroline (7/5): Éviter le dortoir - La nourriture au Petit déj La piscine et le coin chill Le personnel était très gentil La localisation DORTOIR : Les lits sont suspendus mais il est possible de les poser au sol Sauf que le problème est qu'une fois au sol, les pas des autres déplacent les lattes qui bougent votre lit et vous réveille à chaque mouvement L'hygiène dans les dortoirs et dans les salles de bain n'est pas au rendez-vous Un chat traine dans le dortoir et miaule toute la nuit Il fait très chaud dès 7h du matin et les ventilateurs au-dessus de chaque lit n'est pas très efficace Je pense que cet hotel a de bonnes notes grâce à ses chambres privées mais évitez le dortoir si vous avez envie de faire de vraies nuits Bref trois nuits à profiter de la piscine mais à ne pas dormir Les moustiquaires mériteraient d'être lavées
• Jelena (9/5): - It was a great experience to sleep on bulk beds which were hanging from the ceiling and half outdoors. Each bed was provided with a mosquito net and a fan. And they were very comfortable to sllep on. Being woken up every morning at 4:30 by the chanting at the mosque. But this is happening on all the island and you fall asleep right after it finishes.

• Sven (10/5): Traumunterkunft 🌴auf Trauminsel ❤️ 🐠🐢🤿🏝️ - Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Bungalow mit Blick auf den Pool. Alles war super sauber und bei Ankunft mit frischen Blumen dekoriert. Das Frühstück war phantastisch. Frisch zubereitet und sehr lecker. Das Personal war immer freundlich und zuvorkommend. Fahrräder konnten wir direkt über die Unterkunft buchen und standen nach ein paar Minuten zur Verfügung. Die Lage ist super. Sonnenaufgang und Sonnenuntergang kann man super mit dem Rad oder zu Fuß erreichen. Wir hatten 4 unvergessliche Tage im Captain Coconuts und wären gerne länger geblieben ❤️ Das Bett hat ein wenig geknackt…. aber dennoch sehr bequem.

The pool was nice and the staff working at the hotel were accommodating. There aren’t any curtains at the very top windows in the bungalows which meant I woke up with the sun but it wasn’t too bad

• maruvivot (8/5): Buen hostel para desconectar y descansar. - Buen hostel para relajar y desconectar. Cerca de las playas del sunset. Difícil dormir bien por momentos, creo que sería ideal brindar recomendaciones para ello. Los baños están bien pero podría haber luz por la noche. Bastante tareas de mantenimiento que hicieron que hubiera ruidos a la hora de la siesta. Pensé que tendría un ambiente más social.
• Elsa (10/5): - I stayed at Captain Coconut for a few days while I visited the Gili Islands. The accomdation was clean and tidy and the swinging beds were comfortable. It was an experience being able to sleep in the open and get to wake up naturally by the sounds of nature and the sunlight. It had everything you needed from laundry service, breakfast included, pool, lounge area, movie nights and was close to the seafront and the beach. D the manager and his team were exceptional. He helped us multiple times to arrange a private boat tour with our own personal captain to do the 3 islands and was able to arrange private transport for us when we got to bangsal harbour to Kuta which worked out to be significantly cheaper if you were to book with a tour company on the streets. He was also incredibly responsive via the booking.com messaging app and via WhatsApp with any questions or queries we had. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here for multiple reasons and will be coming back again. Thank you again to D and his team for a wonderful experience at Captain Coconut. Nothing!

Sollte dringend ausgetauscht werden. Sauberkeit kann optimiert werden. 5 Tage Frühstück mit der kleinen inklusive-Auswahl ist sehr eintönig. • Guest (10/5): Captain Coconut in Gili Air: a peaceful & beautiful paradise! - I initially booked for one week, but ended up staying five weeks, that says it all! Captain Coconut is a little paradise in Gili Air. The atmosphere is peaceful, with a beautiful garden and swimming pool that makes you feel immedietly relaxed. Sleeping in an outdoor suspended bed and waking up to the sound of birds and sunrise was such a unique experience! The beds are made every day, and the sheets always smelled amazing. Another highlight was the breakfast, always delicious! But what made my stay extra special were the people. The staff are wonderful, professional, and warm. It felt like being part of a family, which made it very hard to leave. I am looking forward to return one day :) If you’re coming to Gili Air, I can’t recommend Captain Coconut enough! It would be great to have a community chat group for solo travellers to connect more easily :)
• Sabrina (10/5): Stupendo - meraiglioso. un posto stupendo, dormire circondato dalla natura e vedere l'alba dal letto. La piscina stuoenda, l'ambiente idilliaco. Lo staff super gentile. Sono stata una settimana mi è piaciuto tantissimo tutto. non volevo andare via. SUPER. NIENTE. tutto perfetto.

• Kate (10/5): - This is an amazing little oasis in a lovely part of the island. The staff are super nice. There are sarongs for use and yoga mats. Great place to meet other travellers. The menu is yummy and includes a great breakfast. The pool area is fantastic. The kids loved the movie nights 3 times a week with free popcorn. Lovely stay. The rooms can be a little light at night but you can turn off the outside lights which helps.
