• Matt (10/5): This place is awesome, I’d go back in a heartbeat - Property’s in a great location. 2 mins walk to the beach, quiet and has a good coffee place under 5 min drive away The property was great, clean, had everything needed and a very comfy bed.
• Ryan (8/5): Very comfortable inside, Garden and outside needs attention. - Loved the kitchen and living area. It was cool and aircon heated the room well. Loved pets where aloud inside the cabin as long as they were clean. Shower screen not sealed. Water flows out onto bathroom floor. Cannot use bath mat as door opens out wards. Grass area very muddy and patchy. Plants very over grown. Needs trimming as yard gets zero sun. Nothing like the photos. Can only use the one entrance as other one leads to dirt/garden bed. Pet friendly but considering they want to ensure your pets dont bring dirt/mud into the house work needs to be done on the lawn, gardens are surrounds as there is extra mud that can be avoided if yard was well kept. Oven ignition should be fixed as we are told to ignite it manually. Smoke alarm not fixed to roof correctly. Outside deck sucken wood boards (Water rot), trip hazard.

• Frances (9/5): - The property was really modern and cozy. The terrace was excellent for the barbecue. Use the instructions were all very clear. The location was great next to a bushwalk and the beach. Overall we had a really great experience. This is not the host’s fault but my own. I thought that Berrara was closer to Jervis Bay. The host was not very warm but she got the point across so that’s fine.

It felt private and had a lovely little fenced garden for my dog. The outdoor shower was a bonus after an ocean dip! Great value for money.

• Juliette (10/5): It was a beautiful location Berrara Beach is a gorgeous hideaway in paradisewith lovely hosts! - I am not sure if it was me or teh lock box was a bit sticky i couldnt open it immediately and had to call teh owner which was a shame as I was hoping not to interrupt anyone as we arrived quite late that day and it was almost dark.

• Emily (8/5): A comfortable stay just steps from the beach. - A beautiful oasis tucked away in a quiet location, just steps from the beach. The unit contained all the basics needed for a comfortable stay. The hosts were quick to respond to messages and provided advice about the surrounding areas. The fridge is old and VERY loud which disturbs the peacefulness of the place. I am generally a heavy sleeper but it even woke me. I can see that this has been a common complaint for over 2 years so hopefully the hosts replace it ASAP.

• Rebecca (9/5): Private and cosy flat right next to a beach in quiet suburb - Super private, super quiet, fenced garden and outdoor seating space (we have a dog), warm inside (didn’t need to use the heating), all the kitchen items you need and they left a little milk for coffee in the fridge. We loved the location 2 min walk to a gorgeous beach and a brewery with the best food also less than a 10 min drive Blind was broken so let the light in early in the morning but we let them know and they plan to fix it
• Andrew (9/5): Expert hosts and stay close to nature - Check in was easy and its a lovely relaxing space with everything you need. There are no shops nearby so recommend taking your own food and snacks. For a region where dog friendly accommodation is very limited and restricted, Bali in Berrara was benchmark and a great example of a wonderful accommodation product and experience. Berrara is also amongst nature with plenty of amazing wildlife so please drive slowly and be sure to walk around the village, you will see so much.

Could not have been a better stay. Very warm inside when very cold outside. Pet had a wonderful secure time. Everything was great, nothing overlooked.

• Ann-marie (8/5): A nice relaxing place to stay while exploring the region. You will need a car to get around. ‘The Cuddy’, at holiday ha - Excellent for a break away with our two small dogs. The area has a private well fenced garden with lighting. Berrara is a quiet location. The accommodation was kept at a nice warm temperature in the cooler seasonal weather. We did not need the extra bedcovers provided. Everything was as expected. The place suits couples as it is not large with everything in one room except the bathroom which is separate.

• Elsa (10/5): Impressive private oasis with everything you need for a relaxing getaway - Walking into a beautiful property on a hot day that was precooled with the air conditioner and ceiling fan on was heavenly. The privacy and the cleanliness were impressive. Instructions for access and places of interest/walks/beaches were easy and helpful. wifi worked well. The lush garden and outdoor shower were stunning. It actually felt like Bali. Kitchen having everything I needed to cook a pasta dish including herbs and spices was good. The coffee machine was also great! 👌 A standout for me were the amount of windows throughout, being able to hear the birds, bats and ocean at night, the fresh breeze and views of the lush garden from every angle. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend to friends! For a fully equipped kitchen, dishcloths and Multi-purpose spray would be helpful to keep the surfaces hygienically clean. A fly screen on the bathroom window so it can be open would help with air flow and natural light.

• Jill (8/5): The property was in a great location for us, close to the beach and National park. - It was spacious, clean and thoughtfully appointed, lots of extra touches. Private and lovely outdoor spaces. Fridge was noisy at night, noticeable in the otherwise very quiet location.
• Emma (10/5): By far the best accommodation we have stayed at! - The host has designed and decorated the property so you genuinely feel like you are so far away from civilisation and on a resort in Bali The only slight problem was the half an hour drive to Husskison, but if we didn’t have two young children that wouldn’t have been an issue at all. It was right next to the beach and we could hear the waves all night. Absolute bliss!

• Jeremy (8/5): A week long stay with the pups first visit to the beach! - The fuss free arrival and the ability to have our GSD and Jack Russell with us was the main factor in choosing the property for the week. The property was great with a small yard and some grass for the pups, as well as a decent sized room where we were able to have the dogs inside with us on floor in front of the TV. The bathroom was modern and fresh with a dual shower head, allowing for feet legs to be washed without having to have a full shower. There was also a shower with a dual head shower outside, which was great for getting the sand and dirt off the dogs and our feet, before going into the granny flat of an evening. The TV remote didn't seem to be the TV remote for that TV, as I had to manually go through the settings on the TV itself to find sleep mode, instead of using the remote. That was a pain each night, but minor. The fridge was quite old and noisy, which was frustrating at night as the motor would start up and as the bed is in the same room, it was quite noisy. The ceiling fan was also another noisy point to deal with while trying to sleep, so having both the fan and fridge making noise was a little disappointing, but we tried to put that aside for the week. The washing machine and drying rack were welcomed for the weeklong stay. A very short walk to the beech of 2-3 minutes was lovely and the parking was no hassle either. The drive into Berrara was a bit long from the main highway, and the roads were rough at times, but so are all the roads in 2023! With a bit of planning, you could easily stay in the Berrara area for a few days at a time before heading to Sussex for more supplies. There was a lovely Cafe on the way into Berrara on the right, near the Sussex Inlet, which had great breakfast! A good home away from home for those not wanting to spend a heap of money for the week!

The studio is impeccable, backyard is securely fenced which is great for my pooch, outdoor shower, and the decor is stunning. Only minutes from several dog-friendly beaches and it's perfectly positioned in a peaceful area with no traffic noise. Just what I needed to getaway and relax over a long weekend. Check-in and check-out was a breeze, with privacy and easy to follow instructions. The name is certainly fitting, as it truly does feel like Bali in Berrara! Rebecca and Adam, thank you SO much for hosting! Fridge is a little noisy, slow Wifi - but honestly, such minor points considering how fantastic the studio is!

We’re were allowed a late checkout 😊😊😊 Almost didn’t have encounter with the owner except via booking.com and met someone by accident at the garage. Got prompt replies from owner via booking.com Numerous, deep potholes on the road. Nearest supermarket is about 7 kms away.

Spacious studio with well equipped kitchen,washing machine & comfortable sofa. Was great for a couple for a few nights, but really too small for three guests. Was nice to have a few basics in the cupboard & fresh milk in fridge. I left my phone charger in the room after checking out & the owners kindly messaged me & returned it FoC. Bathroom window couldn't be opened as had no screen. The bed was rather too firm for us. The fridge was a bit noisy. Emailed 2 requests prior to checking in, for an early check in & a query about the room - didn't get a reply.
