We traveled during the off-season, and our room had a musty smell, which was a bit bothersome, though overall the room was spacious and clean. The staff were smiling and friendly. Breakfast is very basic, it could definitely be improved.

La nostra suite era amplissima e comodissima con un giardino piacevole. Colazione molto buona. Grande ospitalità anche per la nostra Ventura che è un cane di taglia medio-grande che ha anche molto apprezzato la campagna intorno al borghetto e la grande corte dello stesso. Ci torneremo asap Volendo proprio cercare il pelo nell’uovo il bel letto matrimoniale in ferro battuto con materasso molto comodi peraltro è un po’ cigolante. Ma in fondo fa parte anche questo del fascino della location

Per quanto ci riguarda, abbiamo persino trovato il latte senza lattosio, cosa per niente scontata! Grazie di cuore per averci coccolati. - Milan (8/5): Schattige plek met fijne extra’s, al is de ligging wat onpraktisch en de kamer gehorig. - De agriturismo ligt op een bijzondere en rustige plek, met een schattig en huiselijk karakter. De kamers waren schoon, de badkamer ruim en de gratis fietsen erg handig om de omgeving te verkennen. Heel fijn ook dat er een privé parkeerplek in de stad is en dat je de hele dag flexibel kunt inchecken. Het ontbijt was wat karig en de koffie viel erg tegen, zeker voor Italië. Daarnaast was het verblijf erg gehorig en hadden we geen eigen buitenplek bij de kamer. Bij de agriturismo zelf is verder niets te doen, waardoor je overdag eigenlijk altijd weg moet, wat de locatie niet altijd even handig maakt.

Le stanze sono pulitissime,la colazione fornita di tutto e le signore dello staff son davvero tanto gentili e carini. Sicuramente consigliato e adatto sia a pernottamenti brevi sia a pernottamenti più lunghi
- Philipp (9/5): - Ich habe meinen Aufenthalt in der Fattoria Pian di Rocca in Castiglione sehr genossen. Die Zimmer sind äußerst geräumig und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet – das ganze Haus ist wunderschön gestaltet und versprüht einen besonderen Charme. Das Frühstück war hervorragend, und die Mitarbeiter sind ausgesprochen freundlich und aufmerksam. Besonders schön fand ich auch den Außenbereich, der sich perfekt für ein gemütliches Glas Wein am Abend eignet. Praktisch ist, dass Fahrräder kostenlos zur Verfügung stehen – in nur 10–15 Minuten ist man damit in der Stadt oder am Strand. Auch der kostenlose Parkplatz im historischen Stadtzentrum ist ein echtes Plus. Einen Pool oder eine Liegefläche gibt es zwar nicht, dafür überwiegt für mich der besondere Charakter des Hauses. Insgesamt ein wunderbarer Ort für einen entspannten Urlaub, den ich sehr empfehlen kann.

- Lillo (5/5): Posto molto bello ma servizio e pulizia mediocri - La posizione è ottima perché la struttura è immersa nella natura e le stanze sono molto carine, la colazione era molto buona Il servizio non è stato adeguato al costo molto alto del soggiorno: lo staff è stato indisponente e inflessibile alle nostre richieste e per nulla cordiale. Inoltre quando siamo arrivati il bagno era sporco: abbiamo trovato della cenere nella doccia come se qualcuno ci avesse fumato dentro.

- Rudy (9/5): Beautiful dog friendly villa with great staff - It’s a beautiful old villa, very rustic and located in a cute square. The room we stayed in (Junior Suite with garden view) was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The private entrance through the back was also helpful as we have a dog and didn’t need to walk through the entire property to go in and out. It’s a perfect place to stay with the dog as the property managers - Laura and Martina were very friendly. Just note that there are many cats around if you travel with a Dog like ours that doesn’t like cats. The breakfast was great, with a good variety of cakes, fruits, breads, eggs, cheese etc. We also liked that there was a very good restaurant in the same square, which served local dishes and delicious pizza at affordable prices. This is something general and mot necessarily something wrong with the property, but there were loads of mosquitoes outside. Most likely because we went during a time (October) when the weather is wet and humid and perfect for mosquitoes. So we couldn’t really be outside or use the garden space. It would definitely be great if they could find some solutions, e.g. with mosquito incense / repellants or fumigation so guests can spend some time outside.

They gave bicycles for free ro ride around. One thing - you can hear everything what happens in a house (no sound isolation)

- Sibel (8/5): We enjoyed staying at Fattoria very much. - A charming old style Bed&Breakfast. Our room was spacious, lovely furniture with characther and huge bathroom. Crisp white sheets same as a 5-star hotel. Location is amazing, there is a very good restaurant across the small piazza, parking is easy. May be they can improve the outside sitting area a bit for rooms without outside space.

- Aneta (10/5): we were delighted with this place. It was like traveling back in time. I definitely recommend it - a great place with a great atmosphere; authentic Tuscan villa. Beautiful interiors; maintained in a consistent style, yet comfortable. A truly unique place I know that the Italian breakfast is a croissant and coffee, but for other nationalities the breakfast could be more varied (at least eggs). Especially for more active guests (we traveled by bike). But it's really a small thing

- Cristian (10/5): Exceptional - We were going south from Pisa and needed a place to stay close to Grosseto. We chose this one and it was a good option. The hosts communicated well and clear. We could do self check in. The property is in a charming courtyard with large Umbrella pine trees and tangerine trees. The villa is beautiful, elegant, many old parts. The room was hot, elegant and clean. They sell olive oil and derived products. The breakfast was very diversified (essentially on sweets - glad for the 3 types of cheese and the prosciutto!) , delicious, in nice room with beautiful natural light. Price was fair for 2 adults and 1 child. Only small issue is sound made from bathroom shower or flush in the room, quite loud.
