- Shanna (4/5): - It was clean and good room for the price Our toilet kept overflowing and staff was equipped to deal.with it.
- Richard (10/5): -
- Robert (10/5): We would definitely stay here again when passing through Hays, Kansas. - The location was close to I-70. Front office staff was very accommodating. Everything was great!
- char0 (8/5): Reliable hotel in a great location - We stayed here one night on our way to Denver and have visited here several times. Front desk staff can be hit or miss here. We've had both nice and not-so-nice staff. We were lucky this time and had one of the nicer ones which makes a difference after a long day of travel. Our queen suite is just enough room for the three of us. Rooms are a decent size and we appreciate having a kitchen with a full-size refrigerator. Suite was very clean however two out of the three shower product dispensers were empty which we did not realize until one of was already in the shower. Fortunately, we had packed our own items as a backup so we did not call housekeeping to refill that night. One addition that would be appreciated would be a luggage rack so that we don't have to put our bags on the floor. The closets are very nicely outfitted with drawers and shelves but that would only be useful for longer stays and doesn't allow any room to put a suitcase or two. The hotel was quiet at night and although there is some road noise if you are facing I-70, it was not enough to keep up awake. There was always coffee available in the lobby and there are plenty of places to eat in town; IHOP is right behind the building if you do not want to drive anywhere. Free breakfast is not huge but there are enough choices to satisfy most guests and we always take advantage. This hotel meets our expectations for a TownePlace property and is a good choice for solid accommodations in this area.

- Susanne (10/5): - The suites were great. Had a separate room for bedrooms. Nothing
- Sandra (9/5): -
- Tilmon (5/5): Came in town for a wedding on line they asked what time, I was arriving asked for a Early check-in - Location was good, Breakfast needs to improve, bathroom needs to update asked for early check-in told ne they don't do that. Had to change our clothes in a public rest room. I will not recommend this place to anyone š¤ If they don't offer early check-in don't ask for it on reservations !!!!!!

- Brett (9/5): -
- Richard (7/5): Just okay - Good and service was best The reception could be more friendly. There was an issue with checking in that was troublesome and the staff were very dismissive about the problem.
- Jerry (10/5): - Clean rooms, clean bathroom, bed was comfortable Price was high forr Hays Kansas.
- Malick (8/5): -
- Linda (10/5): -
- Jamie (2/5): -
- Micha (10/5): -
- William (4/5): - Check in with David was rude, king bed we booked and paid for was actualy a queen, shower has no pressure, floors were dirty, breakfast was horrible..
Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.
- Monica (6/5): - Shops were in walking distance.
- jenniferkP9652IP (2/5): Horrible Customer Service - I recently had a very disappointing experience with this hotel. While booking online, I originally entered the correct dates for my stay, but at some point in the process the system reverted to the current date without me realizing it. Unfortunately, I didnāt catch the error until I received a confirmation email and was immediately billed.
While I understand that mistakes can happen, what truly left a bad impression was the hotelās response when I called directly. The staff member I spoke with was extremely rude and dismissive throughout the conversation. There was no empathy, no effort to problem-solve, and instead I was made to feel belittled for even asking.
Iāve always enjoyed staying at Marriott hotels in the past, but if this is the level of customer service being provided now, Iāll be taking my business elsewhere. Whether it was my error or not, the lack of professionalism and courtesy was unacceptable. Guests should be treated with respect, and it was very clear in this interaction that the priority here was collecting money, not ensuring a positive experience.
- Holly (10/5): - Nice, convenient property.
- SHARON (8/5): - Everything was good but alittle disappointed in the shower, shower head needed to be changed out, not enough water coming out for the amount of water pressure present.
- tonarly (10/5): Nice room with all you need to live a few days - Good sized room. Has refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot with coffee. Dishwasher, pans and dishes and utensils, cook top. Large bath with large shower. Tv in odd place makes it hard without long cord to use as streaming monitor. Would stay again.
- Paula (10/5): - Very friendly check in. Love the location and the property.
- Ronnie (10/5): -
- Jennifer (7/5): - Our room was good. Breakfast was not restocked and there was still and hr and a half left. The staff was very rude when asked about get things out to restock. We stay here frequently and frustrating when staff is not pleasant. Our was also only stocked with 3 towels and we had 4 guests which i had on the reservation.
- Keri (9/5): Right off the highway with several food options nearby. - Clean and well maintained. Beds were comfortable. The room was a little small
- Katherine (10/5): Perfect for an overnight stop on I-70. - Very clean; easy overnight stay. Washcloths were not clean. Otherwise excellent.
- Jennifer (10/5): - Always a nice place to stay
- Scott (10/5): - Nice and clean
- Diane (6/5): Great for business trips - The room is basically small due to the addition of the kitchen, which is nice if single and there on a business trip
- Danita (9/5): -
- Hsin-Yi Huang-Iturralde (9/5): Convenient location and friendly staff - We love how spacious our room is. The layout is perfect with a separated living space, which allows us to spread out after a long day drive. The kitchen has everything we need for a nice homemade meal. There is a Walmart right next door for groceries. Super convenient and close to the county fair site. We got to see a live rodeo during our stay. The staff showed great hospitality! Will recommend whoever is passing Hays to stay here!!!
- Bret (10/5): - Fantastic!
- xxx062 (2/5): - Agreed with the comments about the front desk. Rude and didn't honor a late checkout, which is why we stayed here. Stay elsewhere.
- Darrin (5/5): - Bad breakfast
- Laura (3/5): Not worth the money - Facility was decent. The staff when we checked in, and when I tried calling several days in advance they were not helpful and were very unfriendly.
The young woman who checked us out when we left was very nice and apologized for the day before.
The next trip I took was a month long stay in a hotel, and I picked a Hilton instead of a Marriott because of that experience.
- Ashley (10/5): - Even though this is a pet friendly hotel, I didnāt notice any pet smell in our hotel room. The shower has a poor design as water leaks all over the floor and the air conditioner wouldnāt shut off automatically. But overall, a great experience!
- Julie (10/5): I will stay here again! - I can't say enough good things about this hotel...the room is so carefully designed for the traveler in mind, so clean, so well-organized....it was a joy to stay in!
- Dr (10/5): Nice hotel on the north end of town - Location and professional staff No place to hang my shirts and pants
- Ashley (10/5): - Very nice rooms and clean!
- Joyce (8/5): Very good -
- Jim (8/5): - Na
- Stephanie (10/5): - Loved the room was already cool when I arrived. Bed is comfortable, love the mini kitchen, and the shower was excellent.
- Lauren (3/5): NOT pet friendly. - The breakfast was good.
The room was clean and comfortable. NOT pet friendly!! Despite their claim to be "pet friendly", they have a hidden policy that ony dogs less than 35 lb are allowed, which they only emailed us about AFTER it was too late to get a free cancelation. And then threatened $250 fee for bringing in dogs larger than 35 lb, so I found a cheaper room somewhere else to stay with my dog. Then they charged a $10 fine to my elderly parents for parking their trailer near the door so they could unload. The staff were standoffish and unhelpful, and hung up on my dad when he tried to ask where should he park his trailer instead. The room was clean but overall this hotel was NOT up to standard for what I would expect for Marriott or for the price.
- Heath (9/5): Nice overnight stay while traveling. - Very clean and modern Mattress in room 304 needs to be replaced. Very saggy.
- Brandon (8/5): - Nice property. Not much near by in walk distance away from busy intersection
- Gary (9/5): Superb -
- Kerry (9/5): Superb -
- Deidra (10/5): - Very fast and friendly.
- Anne (8/5): - I pulled into Hayes at about 4:30 PM for an overnight stay with my two small dogs. The front desk check-in was efficient but unfriendly. I did not feel welcome by the person on staff. I was informed that there was a $50 nonrefundable deposit for the two dogs. A nonrefundable deposit is a fee so just be aware that thereās a $50 fee to have a dog in your room. My room was fine. The air conditioning was loud and you could hear the highway still I felt safe here and it was clean. Breakfast included some sort of spam literally spam and some eggs. I fed the spam to my dogs. I drink a coffee only if I came through haze again I would not stay here. Iād pay more and stay at a different hotel.
- Wasylak (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rexanna (6/5): - The check in lady was rude and check out lady was not friendly. Everything else was good.
- Mary (8/5): - Very clean, comfortable beds and very friendly staff.
- Matthew (10/5): Exceptional -
- Daniel (10/5): - Good experience.
- Susan (8/5): Very good -
- Susan (8/5): Decent place to stay. - Location I thought the cost of the room was high.
- Donna (10/5): Our 2 week Stay at TownePlace Suites - I was very impressed by all the staff there, They made us feel very welcome and were very accommodating,The room was comfortable. The location was good to get to my husbands treatments, Breakfast each morning was fantastic, having a laundry on site was a plus. I canāt say enough positive thingsā¤ļø
- Regina (10/5): - Staff was courteous and efficient. Thank you, TownePlace, for liners in the trash cans!
- Tyann (1/5): Website says pet friendly..yet when u go to check in they turn you down because the pet is over 35 l -
- Anna (6/5): - Having a separate bedroom was nice. Breakfast was below average.
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- RICHARD (10/5): - I appreciate the ev charger
- Brigitte (10/5): - Clean hotel with great staff
- Kristy (10/5): - The lady that checked us out was amazing! she was friendly and professional at the same time! It was a clean establishment ! Will definitely stay there again
- Robert (10/5): - Great place to stay
- Katherine (10/5): Exceptional -
- Whitney (8/5): - The hotel was amazing, but the breakfast was not good. Definitely worth the stay, but you may want to eat breakfast somewhere else
- devo4924 (8/5): Met Expectations - This hotel met my expectations. It was a stop over location driving from the midwest to Denver on 70. Stayed on points, but price was reasonable when I looked. The front desk attendant working late and the manager in the morning were friendly. My room was very clean and comfortable. It had a full kitchen. Most importantly, as a solo traveler, I felt safe and my valuables in my car felt secure in the well lit parking lot, which I could see from my room. The morning breakfast was fine -- I appreciated the fruit and the egg bites. The only downside was the shower -- it kind of blasted everywhere and the curtain could have been a little fresher.
- Jennifer (8/5): Very good - Clean and convenient The shower was a walk in shower, which was nice, but it had a trendy, half glass door, so the water went all over the floor.
- Andrew (9/5): Superb -
- ALEXIS (10/5): - It was very clean and we felt at home.
- Billy Charles (10/5): - Clean!!
- Edward (10/5): - Stayed here many times. Always excellent
- David (10/5): Exceptional - Friendly staff
- Diana (10/5): Fabulous Stay! Quiet! Good Night Sleep! Printer! Internet! - Staff was friendly and helpful. Quiet. Good Night Sleep. I like that there was internet for my laptop computer. I could also send to hotel email address a document by email to print out a document. This is my 3rd time at this hotel. It was all good. There was snow and no covered parking, but my hotel stay was good.
- Edward (10/5): - Very nice, excellent service
- Tiffany (9/5): Superb -
- Brian (10/5): - It allowed us to have a kitchen for Thanksgiving.
- marymchays (2/5): Avoid this hotel - The room was clean. The footstool had a rip and the chair and footstool very worn. The night desk clerk was cold and the morning clerk rude. The oatmeal was burned and there was not any waffle batter. This was the worst Marriott I have ever stayed in.
- John (10/5): - Friendly staff, convenient restaurants and shopping
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great people working there. Good overall cleanliness. Appreciated additional furniture and kitchen in room.
- Elizabeth (10/5): Spotless, comfortable and step above the rest! - Spotless, amazing use of space, comfortable, many small comforts and a carefully appointed room. Not a big deal but shower design sprays water all over floor, this would be an issue if we stayed more than one night.
- Krista (10/5): - Staff is very friendly. Very clean property. Definitely would stay here again
- Sergio (10/5): - Very happy with the room
- fossiltx (10/5): Well located and clean hotel. - A well located hotel. Easy to get to and near most things you might want to do. VERY clean!! The staff was excellent and worked hard to make my stay enjoyable. They had good suggestions on where to go. Also were great in describing where there was shopping. I will come back.
- Sorel (10/5): - Room was very clean and in excellent condition.
- Mitchell (10/5): It was great - Location, cleanliness N/A
- Linda (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gerald (10/5): Exceptional -
- Granitern (8/5): Clean, well-designed, comfortable rooms - Easy on-off highway location. Small but efficiently arranged suite. Nice, new, clean and very attractive room. VERY comfortable bed and bedding. Good breakfast. Opens at 7am...many people were waiting by 6:45. But I sure appreciated that coffee and tea were available earlier than 7. The shower felt cold, since it is doorless. But I guess that's a modern design trend. And it was attractive.
- John (10/5): - Great property, staff very nice.
- Gloria (8/5): Nice - Comfortable and quiet room Breakfst could be better
- Janet (7/5): Good -
- Michael (7/5): Not the best not the worst - Location TV didnāt work, had a blue tint to the screen and was very difficult to see anything on it. The Bathroom sink was like a shower head and if turned on too much would spray all over the place.
- William (9/5): Superb -
- Babb-gasca (10/5): Exceptional - I liked that it was perfect safe place for our travel.
