- Davin (8/5): Excellent stay - The hotel was very clean and organized. I was always greeted with a smile upon entering and by the breakfast staff. I really liked the breakfast staff having coffee out by 5:15 or 5:30AM daily. Breakfast was usually ready by 6:25AM. The desk set up and lamp were very helpful. Room 107 needs a new desk chair. the back support is not working. I wish there was a little more light. The Shower REALLY NEEDS a full door. No way to keep the floor dry with half a door.

The room was modern with extras (Keurig, refrigerator, microwave, stove, pans, plates, etc). Everything was clean and the linens were cotton. The staff were all pleasant, and the young lady at the lobby desk even got me some apples one evening when the kitchen was closed! I would definitely stay here again.

Very convenient drive into the city and ample parking at the hotel. Really like the area as well. Feel safe and the area is nice
- E Dennis (8/5): No maid service for two day stays - We liked the hotel and the suite. We did not like the fact that a two night stay did not entitle us to two days of maid service. At most hotels we have the option, the maids (we did not ask the front desk) said we would not receive service unless we stayed three days.

- Karen (8/5): May 2025 - Checked late( after 10 pm) with no problems. Room was clean. Wall was a bit beat up by the couch and looked in the corner by the shower. Staff was amazing . We did ask for housekeeping to clean our room but they never came. Bed is comfortable but they need better pillows. Breakfast bar was good. The lady that took care of the breakfast bar was amazing. She handled a girls soccer team, a little baseball team, a teenage boys basketball team as well as all the other guests with ease and made everyone feel welcome. She deserves a raise! Overall good locaion and we would stay there again
- Jamie (9/5): Superb - Breakfast was the standard Marriott-style breakfast, but just what was needed to start the day off right. Location was adjacent to several nice restaurants and bars. Seems like a fairly new building, so everything was clean and orderly. I have no complaints.

The breakfast wasn’t awesome although there’s literally no where nearby (walkable) to eat. Wifi was down upon arrival so unable to purchase any type of snacks for our kids which was also inconvenient. The room we were in was also incorrect, however not worth hauling our belongings and kids back to the main floor at the late hour to rectify it. For the price, we absolutely wouldn’t return to this location.

- Kent (8/5): Decent place to stay - Overall the place was nice with 2 exceptions: 1) The smoke detector had a small strobe on it that went off every 5 seconds. Very disconcerting in a darkened room. I asked the desk clerk if anything could be done about it and he said no, but implied it was a common complaint. I put electrical tape over it for the remainder of our stay so it wouldn't bother us. I have never experienced that in any other hotel in my life. 2) The shower head. Not a good stream. Otherwise, the place is fine. Good location and it was quiet.
- Loren (4/5): Disappointing - The location was great and the hotel was very clean. Everything was clean and the lady that oversaw the breakfast buffet was amazing. This hotel has very thin walls. You can hear everything going on in the rooms around you. We stayed on the 2nd floor. The room looked great and it was clean. The mattress on the bed was old, caved-in in the middle and worn out (you could feel the springs). My husband said it was the worst night sleep he's ever had in a hotel and for over $200 a night it just overall wasn't worth it.

- LindseyW470 (6/5): Handy kitchenette! - Stayed here with the fam during g a baseball tournament. Pros: the kitchenette in the room (full size fridge and freezer!!), the complimentary breakfast. Both so appreciated!! Cons: The closet area is terrible (it’s in the bathroom!) and there is no place to put suitcases. Also one elevator was broken, the other slow and the place just a bit run down (especially compared to the hotel next door). Staff was friendly, except when they told me I couldn’t get towels for at least 30 min because they couldn’t leave the desk. (Maybe have some available so you don’t have to leave the desk area?!?) It was late and we wanted to get showered and to bed— not what I wanted to hear. Parking was good. Not much close by the location for food or a store.
- Discover61457259193 (6/5): Poor Airport Shuttle Service - The 10min airport shuttle ended up being a 25min wait at 8pm. I called the hotel twice to confirm and even saw neighboring hotel shuttles loop twice during my wait. When it finally arrived, before I could even take a seat in the first row, the driver already started driving causing me to stumble into my seat. The drive to the hotel revealed an easy drive with zero traffic. I only saw two cars on the opposite side of the road. Upon walking in, there’s a distinct dampness and smell in the air. The service here is lackluster with no smiles or warmth in interactions. The service doesn’t align with the expectations within the Marriott portfolio. The room was fairly spacious, modern, quiet, and clean. Bed was comfortable. Wifi signal is good. TV had mixed signal occasionally skewing the quality a few seconds every 30mins or so. Breakfast and gym seems sparse and sad. Bottled drinks are $3-$5. Overall, ok for a necessary pitstop.

- 290whitb (10/5): 5-stars all around - Of all the TownePlace Suites by Marriott I have ever stayed in, this is by far and away the best I have found. As soon as you walk in the doors you can tell it is a newer property, I would say within the last 3 or 4 years given how impeccably clean it is. The lovely Candace provided a warm, Marriott-style welcome, and I also appreciated the kindness of the gentleman who was manning the night audit desk, whose name I unfortunately did not get. My room was clean, and I especially appreciated the huge shower. Special kudos to the amazing Brenda, whose attention to every single guest at breakfast did not go unnoticed and should be applauded by any and all who happen to read this review. Bravo, team!
- Brian (8/5): Good service but needs some maintenance - We did a staycation to be closer for the Parkville 5k Saturday morning. We booked a 1 bedroom suite but was given the keys to a small double queen bed room. Candance was great at fixing the problem! The hotel is in a nice upgraded area but the couple flaws that need fixed is the one of the elevators didn’t work. The amount of people caused you to wait until it was unloaded so we chose to take the steps instead. The other is the rooms are super nice and bathrooms showers are spacious! The problem is the shower head was so bad it only sprayed out of one opening. Those couple things are disappointing for the overall hotel Brand, area, and price of a room.

Had three different rooms in three different parts of the hotel. All complained of noise issues, that affected our sleep. Could hear lots of noise from rooms above, noise if you were close to the stairwell and noise from ice machine, if you were near that.

They lied and bullied us and had the police remove us and tried to keep my money so I couldn’t go to another hotel. I had to call my bank to get my money back. TownePlace just kept threatening to call the police instead of refunding the stay. The kitchen was dirty the carpet was a tripping hazard.

- Danielle (10/5): Great room--very nice and clean - This was a last minute stay and we got a great rate at this hotel. We really only needed the room to sleep and have breakfast and then we were headed back on the road, so we didn't spend too much time there, but for the short stay, the staff was very nice, the room was very clean, the bed was very comfy and the breakfast was decent. The room was really nice for anyone that would be staying for a longer period of time. It had a cute little pull out desk for working, amble lighting and a full kitchen stocked with dishes, and everything you'd need to cook for a few days. We weren't in town long enough to visit any of the places around the hotel, but we did drive by the shops/restaurants that are across from it and it looked like a cute area to grab a drink. I'd stay here again for sure.

- DNSKansas (6/5): TV that turns off automatically irks me... - I have stayed at this hotel many times over the past five years, despite the annoying televisions which turn off automatically after only 3-4 hours of constant use. Worse, whenever the warning pops on the lower left corner of the TV warning that it will shut off in 60 seconds, it does NOT allow you to defeat the sleep timer, so it turns off regardless of how many times you press OK on the remote. That is so stupefying I cannot put it into words. Also, I am very disappointed the hotel will not upgrade me as a LIFETIME TITANIUM ELITE member. Not even to a studio city view room. The hotel is isolated from restaurants, shopping and attractions. Also, the closure of the US 169 bridge through at least the fall of 2024 makes getting downtown a hassle. Those are not deal breakers. However, it makes me think twice if I want to stay here.

We had a full kitchen that was stocked with dishes etc. the pool always had towels, breakfast was great. Brenda worked the breakfast shift (and more) and she is so great. She deserves a raise!!!

- Verified traveler (4/5): Horrible Check In - We tried to check in at 3:30pm (Check in started at 3) and we were told they were still cleaning rooms. We waited in the lobby for 2 hours and watched no fewer than 10 other people check in and get to their room. We did not get our room choice, which was supposed to be a King room.
- Kerry (10/5): - A great property, where I would definitely stay again. We got good value for the room rate, wonderful neighborhood, friendly staff...the whole package. Only curious thing about the room was an open shower, so the floor got wet. Not a problem, just a curiosity.
- ClintonM219 (10/5): Highly recommended - This is my favorite hotel of all times. Rachel the manager is fantastic and the staff here is the best. Location is in a beautiful area and the rooms are great. I have been coming to this hotel since 2019 and I’ve seen the staff turn over some since then. The current staff they have is the best yet, and I will always seek to stay here whenever applicable.
