• Laleh (10/5): A Truly Wonderful Stay - I had a wonderful stay at this guest house and would happily return. The location was also excellent, making it easy to explore the area while still feeling peaceful and relaxing. The room was comfortable, quiet and clean. Overall, a truly enjoyable experience. I highly recommend this guest house to anyone looking for a comfortable and friendly place to stay.

Al costat de la platja de Porto Pim, un lloc bonic per banyar-se i amb vistes al Montse da Guia i a una part del poble. La casa és molt maca, molt ben equipada i molt neta. La nostra habitació estava a la primera planta i teníem un balcó amb vistes al poble i al mar. El llit era còmode, el bany gran, l’aire acondicionat perfecte, la cuina amb tot el que necessites, la cafetera Nespresso tot un detall, i la connexió wi-fi bona. El personal súper atent, professional i molt amable. Molt bona comunicació amb ells, en tot moment, i molt fàcil fer el check-in i el check-out. Dins la casa hi ha molta informació referent a activitats, mapes, etc. Facilitat per aparcar al carrer i als voltants, de manera gratuïta. Al costat de la casa, i amb vistes al mar, hi ha el Cafè Porto Pim, un bon lloc per esmorzar i també per prendre unes tapes durant el dia. Obren de 7 h a 22 h, i el personal és molt amable. Al costat del cafè hi ha el restaurant Genuino, aneu-hi si podeu. El menjar és molt bo, fresc, i el seu propietari, en Genuino, un navegant que ha fet dos vegades la volta al món en veler i en solitari, i que té molt per explicar. L’illa de Faial ens ha agradat moltíssim i allotjar-nos al Porto Pim Guest House (Horta), durant tres dies, ha estat una molt bona decisió. Recomanem aquest allotjament al cent per cent, i si tornem repetirem sense cap dubte.
• Elena (9/5): - Great location, clean room, everything you need in the kitchen. There are four rooms at the property. Two of them are accessed by very steep stairs. If you have mobility issues or small children, ask the staff what room you are getting ahead of time.

• Michael (7/5): - Sehr zentrale Lage direkt an der Bucht Porto Pim und unweit des Hafens. Das Zimmer war sauber und die Gemeinschaftsräume waren gemütlich eingerichtet und gut ausgestattet. Das Zimmer war viel zu klein für zwei Personen. Für Alleinreisende bestimmt okay, aber nicht für Paare. Die Einrichtung war teilweise deutlich in die Jahre genommen und beschädigt (Stuhl und Tisch auf dem sehr kleinen Balkon)

• Anja (8/5): Zentrumsnah und ruhig. - Tolle Lage, sehr ruhig, nahe am Strand. Schöne und saubere Gemeinschaftsbereiche. Modernes Bad. Unkomplizierter Check-in, Anweisungen per WhatsApp. Zimmer sehr klein und beengt, kann man für einige Tage mit klarkommen. Ansonsten alles super.

• Mark (10/5): More than what it appears - I was confused about how the key code entry worked, and the office sent someone to help us right away. From then on, things went fine. The main reason we picked them was their involvement in science and research, and a tour we received was beyond our expectations. It was arranged on last minute request and made our brief stay the highlight of our 18 days in the islands.

This particular room is small and too crowded with beds, no free space for two persons to walk around or, in one side, even to get out of the bed. Should be advertised for this particular room that the access have one set of very steep stairs - hard for seniors with bags ;-)

Tiago walked us to the accommodation from the Naturalist base and gave us loads of recommendations for things to do in Faial which was extremely helpful and allowed us to get the most from our short stay.

The bedroom was small with private bathroom and air conditioning , it met our needs . There is the option to sit outside and the shared space is very inviting . It feels like home . I would definitely come back again ! I totally loved it

• Hannah (7/5): Great location and good common areas but tiny room - Fantastic location! Friendly staff, good level of cleanliness upon arrival. Common areas were cleaned each day. We had room 2 (no balcony) and it was too small for 2 people. You had to edge sideways around the bed and there was no space to put or open your luggage. This room would be much better with a single bed. The bed was very hard. Floors seemed to be swept/hoovered each day but not mopped so it was a little grubby.

• Nihan (10/5): Clean and cute guesthouse 2 min to Porto Pim Beach - The location in Porto Pim is really nice with lots of restaurants around, the beach is 2 min walk. The employees of Naturalist are very kind and helpful. The guesthouse is very clean (not only the room but also nicely decorated common area) We paid more for a room with “balcony and sea view” but if I knew that this was more like box then balcony and sea view only on the side (you need to make an effort to see it, it is not like you are seated on your balcony with a nice view) I wouldn’t pay the difference and just take the simple double room.

Shared kitchen has everything you need to arrange breakfast and dinner, location is central and excellent for local interest and restaurants and the owners were really lovely and helpful and made me feel at home.
