I travelled with my partner and 3 month old son and it was just the break we needed. We loved every bit of our little break away from home. Nothing that we found. Faultless in our eyes.

Nikki (8/5): Lovely countryside location for a relaxing weekend break - The location is excellent if doing the Four Waterfalls trek (which we did), and for nearby walks and pubs. The farm was so quiet with a beautiful babbling brook at the back of the cottage, that was incredibly relaxing. There is a small grassed area across the courtyard at the front of the cottage that overlooks the fields and enjoys sun all day. We spent both evenings sitting on the picnic benches enjoying the sun go down. The cottage itself was a good size, clean, comfy beds and hot showers. They provided a lot of useful local information in the welcome book. Would definitely return Only small issue was they advertised providing BBQ facilities to all cottages, but there wasn't any available with our cottage. Not a biggy but worth checking if you stay here and want to BBQ one evening.

June (8/5): A beautiful old cottage - Beautiful little cottage, everything you may need no matter how short or long you are staying. Set in an idylic and quiet spot. With lovely walks around the farmlands. If only the weather had been better. I imagine in the summer its the most beautiful place, especially when you can sit outside and enjoy freshair and sunshine. When we stayed the weather wasn't its best. The cottage has small windows and so inside was quite dark. The cottage I would say needs a little TLC and defo needs decobwebbing.

It was a stunning stay and no complaints. If anything, there could be more kitchen pots, but it's not a complaint at all.

su (8/5): A peaceful dog friendly break in a beautiful convenient location in Wales. - Lovely little garden and courtyard by the stream. Perfect small cottage for a couple. Lovely circular off lead walk on site for the dogs before we headed out for our hikes. Nicely decorated. The kitchen had plenty of empty cupboard space so some wine glasses would be a good addition. The toilet wasn’t cleaned throughly when we arrived.

The bungalow was really well done and super comfortable, especially with the cosy underfloor heating. The guidebook was also really helpful—we loved the short hiking trail recommended in the information folder! The shower screen was half missing, so we didn't like how it got messy in the bathroom. Edit: Thank you for responding to our review. We appreciate the thoughtful design for accessibility, including the chair in the shower. However, it was evident that a panel was missing (or removed), which led to some inconvenience with water splashing outside. Additionally, the actual shower setup did not match the picture in your advertisement. We hope this lovely shower room will be adjusted for the comfort of future guests!

Candy (7/5): We enjoyed the peace and quiet. - The kitchen was recently fitted with good appliances, the sitting room was tidy with a good television and a generously prepared wood burner although it was too warm for us to need it. The main bedroom was comfortable with a dressing table and wardrobe. The second bedroom would work well for two children so the cottage would be ideal for a couple or young family. The setting is very quiet with parking directly outside the cottage. It was nice to sit in sunshine on the bench at the front of the cottage for morning coffee. The garden area around the cottage was rather shabby and the bathroom had seen better days - a lot of them - and needs to be upgraded. None of the blinds worked correctly or were fitted properly.

Loved the extra care of the information manual (although slightly out of date as some places mentioned had closed). Generally a cute place to stay with all the amenities you need and stunning countryside walks and views. No bath in property (despite being advertised with one). Could have been a little bit cleaner particularly in the bathroom, but was redone as soon as it was mentioned so greatly appreciated the effort.
Steven (10/5): Exceptional - We stayed here for a week and found the cottage warm, clean and very comfortable with all that you could need and more. There was a fantastic amount of local information on places to visit and eateries in the visitors guide in the cottage. Highly recommended!

Dominik (10/5): Exceptional - The cottages are well equipped with all one could wish for. During our stay it rained for one day and we enjoyed staying in the cottage and lighting up the fireplace. There is a farm trail to explore the beautiful countryside and a river passing through the farm. Thank you Rachel and Rich for this fantastic four day stay!

Yi (10/5): Exceptional - Rachel is a superhost. She makes sure everything is alright at the cottage before we checked in and during our stay. The cottage is extremely well managed, with attention to details, spacious with a terrace, the bed is comfortable and we did have good sleep after long hours drive. The kitchen is fully equipped and clean. The location is ideal for us for trips both to Brecons Beacon and Tenby. I highly recommended the Swansea Valley Holiday Cottages. Nothing

Sangeeta (8/5): Very good - Super clean facility including the bathroom and toilet, best judges are always my 17 and 12 year old who are extremely picky about where they stay. Easy to find, convenient to park and property was warm and toasty when we arrived ready for us. The babbling brook nearby welcomed us first, the weather was rainy but balmy so we were able to explore the various nooks and crannies around the property as well. The information manual was meticulous, much appreciated! Overall excellent stay! Thank you! Would have liked a selection of board games and puzzles etc to keep teenagers and adults busy. Although there were some for toddlers.

The ability to light a fire in the evening in the living room was lovely. We loved the stunning gardens and surrounding countryside. Honestly, nothing.

Anonymous (6/5): nice staff very clean but definitely not a 5 star i think this needs rectifying as people will feel ripped off - nice modern finish outdoor area was very unkept the views from the cottage were very unsightly with old derelict buildings as our view this property was sold us as a 5 star luxury cottage there wasn’t even a tv in the bedroom the bed was creaky and old was more like a 3 star

Andrew (10/5): Very friendly, fantastic location, 100% VFM, will return. - The local area, the place was ideally located, providing options on food, visits, shops, hills, in fact almost anything from relax to full on active events. All within a short walk or short drive. Highly recommended. I could not stay longer than originally booked. It was that good.
