RACHEL (10/5): Highly recommend Laanhof, it is very well managed and the location is perfect. - Well appointed, very comfortable unit, very neat, did a load of washing. Location is excellent, close for a stroll into the centre and close to Coetzenburg for a walk, lovely and quiet area.

Küche ist gut ausgestattet mit allem, was man braucht (sogar mit Eierkocher). Zimmer ist gemütlich, wenn auch nicht zu groß. Ich konnte dank des tollen Wetters viel draußen sein. Bei schlechtem Wetter ist es für zwei Personen ggf. etwas beengt. Bett bequem, Bad mit großer Dusche. Service an den Wochentagen sehr angenehm. Sehr sauber! Lage ist zentral, ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuß zur Dorpstraat mit Geschäften, Restaurants ...

Good proximity to museums, shops & restaurants. Safe parking for car outside apartment block. Clean, well furnished & equipped studio with modern kitchen facilities: both oven & microwave in one. On site washing machine available if needed. A bit disappointed about the view from our terrace. Had impression that it looked over gardens from photos on Booking.com. In fact the main view is of the parking lot for adjacent apartments and refuse bins.

Spacious for 2 people, with plenty of cupboard space. Private secure parking. Good communication with hosts. Spotlessly clean. Had some issues trying to get the car gate to open (the remote didn't work unless you pointed it directly at the garage). Shower pressure and temperature fluctuated a bit. Lighting was a bit bright. Everything else was great, I would stay again.

Forsyth (10/5): Fab stay at Laanhof in Stellenbosch - On a very quiet street in Stellenbosch but very centrally located, so it was a 10 minute walk to all the fabulous restaurants and Mall in town. The units are immaculate with beautiful linen, a super comfortable bed and luxurious pillows. The kitchen is well stocked with a nicely sized fridge, microwave, cooker, toaster, kettle and coffee maker and utensils. I liked that basics like tea, milk, sugar and coffee were provided! It was spacious enough to easy cook a decent meal. The outside braai area was a great hit with the men in our group. The unit was serviced everyday and we made use of the on site washing machine to do a load of laundry. Liani was a great host! We loved our stay at this up market establishment! Nothing

King (10/5): Wonderful stay in the perfect location - Lovely quiet position in the heart of Stellenbosch. All restaurants and shopping within short walking distance down beautiful avenues. It could have had a more comfortable couch or chair to sit on, but that's just being picky.

I will def - I had a fantastic stay at Laanhof studio 4 in Stellenbosch the apartment is beautifully designed well maintained, and offers a true sense of luxury with its Stellenbosch charm. The location is perfect - close to everything yet peaceful, making it an ideal base for exploring the town. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive ensuring a seamless experience from check-in to check-out. The quaint garden at Studio 4 is absolutely lovely adding to the serene ambience.

Just the basic facilities, absolutely nothing more to make it cozy or welcoming - I am used to something special like flowers, new magazines, etc. It felt very impersonal and 'functional". The pamphlets are old, dated to Covid times, etc.

Marietjie (7/5): It was a pleasant stay with attention to detail and good service. - It was a smooth meet and greet- they gave me a guide op the property and showed me how everything worked. They also tested all the lights and appliances whilst being with me to make sure everything was in a working order. The garden and finishes are also great. The location is absolutely amazing and I felt so at ease and safe to walk to all the local restaurants close by I don't have major complaints- the only thing worth mentioning is that the road to the parking is a one-way.
