• Ortaç (1/5): Absolutely to stay away ! - Nothing Everything was super dirty, I can’t describe even. Nothing was clean, shower was full of dirt, sinks were undesirable. It was worse stay of my life.

• László (9/5): Its a good accomodation for you if you are looking for a cheaper room near to the old town. - Its very close to old town of Lecce. Coffee and mini markets are on the street (20m meters from the building) The shower and toilet were only accessable through the public floor

• Floriana (4/5): - Il prezzo è stato relativamente basso, anche se il bagno per essere privato, o si trova in camera oppure deve essere chiuso a chiave. La pulizia non era il massimo, ad esempio il era copriletto macchiato. In bagno nella doccia non usciva acqua calda.

• Giulia (8/5): Lecce merita una seconda visita! - La posizione centrale ma appena fuori dal centro è stata un'ottima soluzione per me che avevo la macchina e non potevo parcheggiare ovunque. La struttura è inoltre stata molto disponibile a farmi lasciare la macchina leggermente più a lungo nel parcheggio pre partenza.

Comfortable room with a nice breakfast. The room was part of an apartment where we could use the kitchen and living areas. Beautifully decorated with lots of tourist information available. • Brian Rebek (8/5): Buena estancia - El departamento es enorme, está compuesto por varias habitaciones pero alejadas una de otras. La recepción fue muy buena y cordial. En cuanto a la habitación bien, antigua como todo el dpto pero súper mantenido y súper limpio. Nos tocó la habitación de las 2 camas separadas y eran bastante chicas, pero cumplió sin problemas (reservamos el mismo día y en agosto que no había disponibilidad en ningún lado) El desayuno flojo. Entiendo que en Italia no desayunan como en Argentina pero era bastante escaso

The charming old world property was conveniently located within walking distance to the old town, the park and historical sites. The underground parking was very much appreciated. The rooms were comfortable, elegant and we enjoyed the common areas including a balcony. The breakfasts were fantastic and included local pastries, fruit, cheese and lovely coffees. The host was helpful and friendly and we enjoyed our stay in Lecce!

• Verified traveler (10/5): - We had a room in this classic apartment for 2 nights. It was easy to walk everywhere within Lecce. Breakfast was good and the host/owner was lovely.
• Vaughn (9/5): I felt very comfortable and welcome staying in La Dimora di Vesta. - The breakfasts were fantastic. Simona really enjoyed presenting local food specialties, offering something different every morning. The breakfast would include different kinds of superb cheese each day, cold meat, a wonderful variety of breads, savory buns and mouth-watering pastry. And fruit and yogurt. The apartment in which the room was located is very pleasing and in a good location just outside the historic centre. I was also able to secure parking on the premises at a reasonable price - a convenience worth paying for in a busy city and with limited vacation time. The bed was a little narrow.

The staff were very welcoming and helpful in terms of restaurants and tours. Breakfast was good and many products were home made. The beds were a little hard for our liking but others may find them OK. The parking charge for the garage is a little high at €10 euros per day but convenient
• David (10/5): - Nice room in a very spacious Suite of rooms. The common area is huge and very nicely furnished. Simona is the host and she provides fantastic breakfasts. Our only problem was parking. Only a very, VERY small car can fit in the underground garage.

The bathroom is outside the single room, although private. There is limited number of private parking but fortunatelly I found public parking in front of the building.

The whole place was enormous, impressive & very clean. Lack of information. Not a place for those with limited mobility or lack of Italian. There was no-one to welcome you only phone contact. If I hadn't been with an Italian friend I would have been totally at a loss.The B&B was inside an enormous condominion & was difficult to find. One had to negotiate a long corridor & several steps to reach the lift. The bathroom was private but not ensuite. Parking was difficult.

• Jerome (9/5): Excellent base to visit Lecce, in a quiet district. The place is comfy and stylish, still very practical. The staff is v - Very well located to visit downtown Lecce. The common rooms are very spacious, with a balcony, and very decorated with taste. The room was equipped with air cooling. The underground parklot is very practical. The breakfast is excellent. The staff was very welcoming and helpful regarding our demands. Mattresses were a bit too soft to our liking and for our backs. The shower, though functional, is quite small and a bit outdated.

Great location, friendly and helpful people and quiet. If you’re unsure I would urge you to give it a go, as it is really comfortable and great value, message the hotel and they will absolutely help you with any queries.
• Katie (10/5): A hidden gem! - A hidden gem! Beautiful inside, you can use the kitchen and laundry as well as being walking distance from the train station and bus stops. Great place to stay to visit other places in Puglia and the owners are so nice, helpful and friendly!

The facilities are very comfortable and cozy. Breakfast was absolutely amazing. The host, Simona, is very caring and attentive to any and all needs you might have. Just excellent.

• Verified traveler (10/5): - Die Unterkunft liegt ideal direkt am Rande der Altstadt von Lecce; in zwei Minuten ist man im Geschehen. Simona ist eine tolle Gastgeberin, die sich sehr um ihre Gäste kümmert. Es ist keine Luxus-Unterkunft, die Einrichtung ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Aber alles funktioniert, ist sauber - das Ganze zu einem sensationellen Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Die kostenlose Garage ist ein weiteres Plus, allerdings ist sie sehr eng. Das abwechslungsreiche Frühstück wird täglich frisch hausgemacht.

• B (10/5): leuk en goed verblijfadres in Lecce - we kwamen s avonds laat per trein aan in Lecce, hebben op station geboekt. en zijn naar de locatie gegaan. Daar aangebeld. een erg aardig stel die daar wonen als zeg maar toezichthouders deden gelukkig open. Ik had bij het boeken niet ingevuld welk tijdstip we aankwamen , dus we waren erg blij dat ze open deden. We verbleven op de kamer vintage, een zeer ruime kamer, en inderdaad vintage ingericht. De hele accommodatie ademt een vintage Italiaanse stijl uit. De eigenaresse maakt iedere ochtend een heerlijk ontbijt. Het hotel ligt op de derde etage in een groot pand, het is er heel stil. Je loopt binnen een paar minuten het oude centrum in. Het is echt een goede betaalbare plek als je een paar dagen naar Lecce gaat. wij zullen er zeker weer boeken als we de stad weer aandoen. De gastvrijheid en vriendelijkheid zullen ons altijd bijblijven. er is een leuk klein supermarktje naast het hotel.

• Mary Elizabeth (4/5): Not the place for me. - This B&B is part of one floor of an apartment building. I had booked 2 nights there but left after the first night. Someone from the B&B met me in the building lobby and escorted me up in the lift to the correct floor. He opened the door to the B&B, showed me where my room was (at the very end of a corridor and then around the corner at the end of another corridor). He explained what the 3 keys were for that he was leaving with me - 1 for the front door of the building, 1 for the entrance to the B&B, and one for my room. He showed me the kitchen where he said I could buy food and put it in the fridge if I wanted. Then he left, as no one regularly staffs the front desk. From that point I never saw another person in the B&B. The following morning I did hear 2 voices in another room, but never saw them. Maybe it’s because I’m a solo older female traveler, but I felt very uncomfortable being there by myself. I also worried about how I would get out in an emergency, because the lights all have sensors and they constantly turn off. (That’s a problem I’ve found everywhere I’ve traveled in Europe, not just here). I ended up doing my own emergency exit drill to try and memorize how I would get out in a real emergency. The next morning I decided this place wasn’t for me and left.
• Verified traveler (10/5): City centre perfection - Having spent a couple of weeks visiting different venues it was a treat to stay somewhere where the car could be parked, underground car park brilliant, and we could easily spend the day sight seeing, followed by a siesta and dinner out in one of the many restaurants. An gentle passeggiata with the locals rounded the day off perfectly. The location so close to a lovely park was an extra bonus, The room was clean and comfy with a balcony from where a peak into Italian life could be taken as it overlooked other balconies! Our delightful hostess, Simone?, looked after us extremely well, was most helpful and provided a true Italian breakfast featuring local fresh fruit along with a selection of Pugliese pastries, different each day.... happy days!!!. We could have used the kitchen facilities had we asked but apart from keeping water in the fridge we had no need. We also enjoyed sitting out on the front balcony where there was a cool breeze, and we could listen to the swifts screeching as they swooped between the buildings,a very relaxing end to the day. We were on our own most of the time but you can enjoy breakfast with the other guests along with some easy conversation. One point to remember, if you are parking, is that there are two fights of stairs to tote heavy cases up before you reach the very welcome lift. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and Lecce is fabulous!!
