Rhiannon (4/5): Very basic. Think camping. - The bed was comfortable and the staff member interacted with was wonderful. The location is excellent too. I also appreciated the kettle with tea and coffee selection. A bottle of spring water was provided too. It wasn’t clear that I would be sharing the bathroom. It felt a bit dirty and it was awkward when someone was in there- you have a key to it but have to lock it with another slide lock inside. I wasn’t totally clear on this and found it quite inconvenient having to remember my keys every time I needed the loo. The carpet in my room was wet! So I had to wear my shoes whenever I got out of the bed. The room had some mould and was quite noisy.

Emma (5/5): No staff anywhere - I deliberately didn't book the attic room on the fourth floor, but when I arrived I was in the attic room. There are no staff anywhere at any time, so there was nobody to ask to change rooms for the downstairs room I thought I'd booked. You are only allowed to have 2 sugars, so in terms of a cup of tea, there was just one. Again no staff to ask for more sugar, and only stayed 2 nights so wasn't worth buying a bag of sugar. I fully expected housekeeping to come and empty bins, fill the tea/ sugar ect as is normally done, but nobody. The room was clean enough, but a lack of staff in the hotel really had a negative impact on my stay.

Our room was up quite a few flights of stairs that were wonky, the floor in the bedroom and bathroom was wonky. if you dropped something in the shower you cannot bend and get it as space too small you have to physically get out of the shower and pick it up... i paid £176 for this room and it was not worth more than £90 ..i chose this as looking on the website the pictures made it look nice but is is NOT worth £176 .. i am deeply disappointed and feel i have been ripped off .

And left the next mornin - The view was amazing Not a big enough bin and the mattress was basically 2 single joined together where you can feel the the separation in the middle. A bit uncomfortable to lay on the middle of the bed.

The room has no sound proofing, my sleep has been interrupted by the sound created by slamming of doors (from the access door for the three rooms), the beds squeaking sound every time I change position and I can hear the other occupants.

Maleiko (5/5): It’s passable for a one night stay. - The hotel was close to the sea and bus stops, close to the city centre. The room itself had its own shower and it looked quite clean, so was the toilet. The heating in the room was very good as well. The staff was very polite and friendly! The bed was really bad and janky - I looked under the bedsheets and found that it was all yellow from stains. The bedsheet itself was washed, but a bit stained too. The floor wasn’t very clean either, quite worn down and I felt uncomfortable to walk on it with my bare feet. The window was letting in cold air despite the fact that it can’t even be opened and/or adjusted.

Alicia (7/5): Satisfactory. - Clean place The sliding door to the shower was broken and it also took a long time for the water temperature to be adjusted. I think there could be better toiletries.
Seamus (8/5): - Manager was very helpful, location was great. Comfortable for one night stay in Brighton.
Michelle (8/5): - Clean. Comfy. Own bathroom. Only one cup between two people. Bit annoying when we got back from being out all evening. Coffee in shifts in the morning.
