From caring and attentive staff, to many small details that were put there to make the guest's stay more pleasant, this was our home away from home. The hotel has that 'x' factor that is difficult to define. Also, well appointed and very clean. There is no doubt in our minds that we will return to Galunov when we visit again.

Лично мой минус - на сайте указано, что есть место для курения (балкон, но и это здорово), по факту он закрыт. Да, не самим отелем - идет какая то реконструкция и завешен весь фасад дома, но мне от этого не легче было. Если вы некурящий - то все прекрасно.

Room was neat, clean and tidy. Bathroom was big and clean with all the necessary supplies. Hotel was stylish, decorated which gave a warm feeling of the middle age. Location was close to train station and metro, within 10 min of walk. HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this hotel to everybody. I will come back to this hotel if i visit St. Petersburg again.

Номер прекрасный, ночью было спать комфортно - нет никакого шума, а круглосуточный кафетерий это огромный плюс отеля, можно в любое время взять чай или кофе, сушки или зефир и все это бесплатно! - Jelenavan (10/5): - Ik logeerde in Galunov hotel van 19 tot 23 november en ik voelde me daar veilig en comfortabel. Hotel ligt zeer centraal om de hoek van Nevsky prospect, vlakbij centraal station waarvandaan treinen naar Moscow vertrekken en ongeveer 7 min lopen van metro station. De bus en trollybus halte is op 3 min lopen afstand. De ingang van het hotel is aan de achterkant van het gebouw. Via een zeer mooie brede trap loop je naar de receptie op de eerste verdieping. Mijn kamer lag op de tweede verdieping achter extra voordeur die altijd op slot zat. De kamer was mooi en rustig wel iets te smal. Houten vloer, een bureautje, salon tafel en twee fauteuils. Het bed is enorm en comfortabel. Er was een kluisje in de kamer. Het was rustig slapen, je hoort geen verkeer van buiten. Alles is nieuw en zeer schoon. Op dezelfde, tweede verdieping is een ontbijtruimte. Ontbijt was goed. Deze eetruimte is zeer mooi en stijlvol ingericht en is een soort lounge waar je altijd gebruik van kan maken. Er is thee of koffie naar keuze (nespresso of gemalen), koekjes, wat fruit en ijsjes uit de vrieskast en dit alles is gratis. Voor diegene die op de balkon wilden roken, lagen dekentjes klaar. Het personeel was vriendelijk en professioneel. Mijn vlucht vertrok ’s avonds en na check out mocht ik nog de hele dag gebruik maken van deze “lounge” en van de bagage ruimte. Ik heb mijn verblijf in Galunov hotel als zeer plezierig ervaren.

- Lok10 (10/5): Highly recommend - 1. main entrance at the rear of the building, but you can notice the signage and direction at the street. 2. reception at 1st floor not ground floor Merits 1. Good location, near the railway station and subway station. This is a walking distance to go to the hotel. 2. Dinning room (serving the breakfast) opens for 24 hour. You may get a drink, snack and ice-cream. They are free of charge. 3. Facilities in washroom more than expected. Heating rail for drying towel and sufficient lighting. Floor tiling is warm. Music is broadcasting in the washroom with volumn control. Bathing is enjoyment in the hotel. 4. Delicious breakfast with a variety of food. We stayed three nights and the chef changed the food a lot without repeating. 5. Excellent service. We checked out in the morning and left the luggage in the hoel. Since we got a midnight train to Moscow, the staff allowed us to et back late at night and offered us to take a short break before getting the train in the dinning room. As usual, no more service should be offered after check out. This hotel offered the service more than we expect. We wish Galunov hotel a success and we are looking forward they can extend their business to Moscow very soon.
