Guest Reviews
- Christopher (8/5): - Cleanliness, staff Wi-Fi was very spotty
- WeiTing (6/5): -
- Wei-Ting (6/5): - We were staying around one week, the staff is nice and the room is spacious. The breakfast could be even better if there were some fresh toast available.
- Linda (5/5): Probably wouldn't stay here again. - Devon was great at the check-in desk; others mediocre. Broken microwave. VERY LOUD toilet flushing. Devon was great at the check-in desk; other mediocre. Window sash in room broken. Hot water in shower varied temperature. Emailed about AARP discount and never received a reply. Tried booking the room through AARP website, told no rooms were available. Went to your website directly and was able to book, but no discount. Was coming in town for a funeral. If there had been another motel available, I would have gone there. Most of my family stayed here, so that convenience was the deciding factor.
- William (10/5): Enjoyed our stay - friendly staff, clean, quiet. - Breakfast was fine. Room was clean and spacious. Staff was friendly and efficient and helpful.
- Caitlyn (4/5): Dirty - The people were king Rooms was not clean gum in floor shower was dirty and the price was wayyyyyy to much for a place like that won't stay here again
- savanna (10/5): -
- Levonda (10/5): Just what I needed for a good restful night. - I love the location, the pool, and the extremely comfortable bed. I can't think of anything I would change.
- Diane (8/5): Good breakfast - The location was great, very accessible to everything. The staff was very pleasant. There was hair in the bathtub drain. My refrigerator smelled awful. Your wifi is spotty and the TV stopped working in the middle of a movie. Your workout room is dirty, nothing to wipe the equipment down with and no water in the container.
- Judith (10/5): Best place to stay in that area - Breakfast could be better doesnt offer much but the sitting area and what was offered was good Nothing
- Alisha (8/5): -
- Judith (8/5): Comfortable stay - We didn’t eat the breakfast not a whole lot there unless cereal is what you like and toast. Not many nicer hotels in Hillsboro but this was perfect for what we needed Breakfast food
- sheena (8/5): -
- Melanie (7/5): - The ice machine was broken the whole time I was there, which was an inconvenience.
- Stephen (5/5): ok - Location Bath tub had a shoddy caulking job it looked like junk and moldy
- Wolfe (1/5): - The website gave the incorrect location closest where I needed to be. Upon notifying the desk attendant she refused to do anything about it, and when she did finally call a manager, claimed it was too late. The website said I still had time to cancel. Seems to me some people need better training.
- David (8/5): -
- Shirley (6/5): - pool was closed
- Gary (10/5): - Ok good breakfast
- Joel (4/5): - Our room was clean and stocked with everything we needed the first day, but not so the second day when we returned from visiting the town's amenities. Additionally, the safety fence on the sidewalk that leads from the parking lot behind the building towards the inside, specifically on the east side back door, is broken and tied with plastic strips to prevent it from falling, which is ridiculous to say the least. Also, a musky smell coming out of the room's rug slapped us as soon as we opened the door. A/C console was almost inefficient. We had it to set it at 60° to been able to cool down the room but it was still too hot to catch a good night sleep. We neither had Wi-Fi provided inside the room the whole time of our stay, and we I notified to the front desk ladies they couldn't solved it out or give us a satisfactory answer. Resuming the whole deal, we will be skipping the Days Inn by Windham at all cost from now on, cause paying almost $380 for two nights only for such circumstances, it's a pretty lame deal. So, not a highly recommend place to book your stays in.
- Scott (6/5): - A bit stale and dated
- Charlotte (2/5): We were pretty miserable because of the damp and smelly condition of the room. - Location We tried 2 different rooms and they both had poorly working AC that made the rooms damp and musty smelling. There was even evidence of mold on the fold out sofa bed.
- Karen (8/5): - Clean room. Friendly staff, good breakfast
- Patricia (10/5): - Staff was very kind and friendly, hotel was clean, maintained. Convenient location to the festival we went to and central to shopping stores (Walmart, 5Below, Dollar stores, Marshalls, Tmobile, Krogers, Goodwill, Aldi being built, etc...) Will definitely book with them again!
- Krystal (4/5): - Dirty. Poor ventilation. Disgusting breakfast. Did receive discount for a dirty room. Pool was nice. Would not recommend.
- Elizabeth (4/5): - There were stains on bedding, towels, chairs, and carpet. Very little was available for breakfast. When items ran out they were not replaced. The air conditioning didn't keep the room cool enough. The fitness room was run down as well and very warm. Watercooler didn't work. Some buttons on the treadmill didn't work.
- John M (10/5): - It’s a good place to stay.
- Lynette (5/5): Wouldnt go back - I wouldnt call this a breakfast. Coffee, Tea and watered down juice. No food. Only little frozen sausage and egg sandwiches. 2 kinds of cold cereal. Thats it. We didnt eat. The front windows where you eat were filthy, made you sick to your stomach just sitting in there. Gross. The beds were very comfortable and our room was clean. That was the only good part of the stay. The pool was closed up, none of the side door entrances worked, you had to go around the front way only. Absolutely would never go back
- Kimberly (10/5): -
- Charles (8/5): - Very nice comfortable room and friendly staff
- Rayann (4/5): Nice but too expensive and too many problems. - The front desk man was very sweet and helped us a bunch and the room was very nice. I feel like the price for the room for just one night was a little ridiculous. It wasn't big or anything special so there was no reason for it to be so expensive. Another thing we didn't like is that we had to be 21 to rent a room for a night, I wish someone would have told us beforehand, but I was just lucky that I had my father there to sign the papers and the very sweet man at the front desk that helped us out.
- Tessie (8/5): - There was an issue with the room when I walked into it. The lady at the desk was very accommodating and gave us another room. The room looked overall renovated. The bed was great! We slept very well. We had a pet room the carpet looked clean but stains on the carpet. The hallway doors need a little attention. Looks like sticky tape was on the door and peeled off. Breakfast was continental with waffle maker and the fridge had sausage and egg biscuits and cheese omelets that can be microwaved.
- Donna (7/5): -
- Amy (9/5): It was pretty good. I did want to mention the lady at the front desk was kind enough to share what little ice she had w - It was clean and accommodating The ice machine was broken, and there were a lot of us there for a baseball tournament with no way to put ice in our kids water bottles for the day. You need another waffle station at breakfast since that was the most popular item to get! Also the tv channels don’t match up with the guide or printed paper in the guest directory so we had to just keep going thru all the channels, you need local channels too.
- Jessica (10/5): - Super comfy! Very quiet and accommodating!
- Shannon (10/5): - I very much enjoyed my stay at Days Inn . The staff was wonderful and the hotel was very cozy and clean. Breakfast was great and everyone that worked there was very nice and helpful. The ice machine was broken so the kind lady at the front desk offered me some of her personal ice she had brought from home. Definitely recommend and will definitely stay again when I’m down in Hillsboro! Thanks for everything Hillsboro Days Inn!
- Tom (4/5): Not worth Over $100 per room - The room was comfortable EXCEPT the PTAC was absolutely filthy. Loaded with dirt and mold that gave me a sinus infection afterward. The ice maker (one for the entire building)was broken for the entire stay. The breakfast was not up to Day's Inn standards (missing proteins) and was closed down at 8:59am SHARP. No exceptions!
- Trudy (10/5): - It was very close to the event we were attending.
- David (4/5): other then no coffee in rooms it was ok - they had no coffee in rooms and when went to get coffee had to waite becouse the machine was not working
- Charles (8/5): - I will visit again
- Cheryl (8/5): - A nice quiet place. Clean and comfortable. The clerk at the front desk was very friendly and personable.
However the ice machine was out of order.
- Steven (4/5): - I was in room 116 and there was a slightly noisy plumbing/mechanical sound in the room so I could not sleep.
- Larry (6/5): - For an older hotel it was acceptable. Rooms were very basic. No closet, ironing board but no iron. No in room coffee maker. Limited free breakfast.
- Alison (2/5): - There’s no elevator, so we had to carry everything up the stairs. The hallway smelled like marijuana and cheap air freshener spray. Our room smelled musty and like mold and mildew. We asked to change rooms and were told it wasn’t possible. We had to check out and go stay somewhere else in a town with few options due to the he’ll hazard the room presented to our 11month old.
- John (4/5): - Property is old and dirty. We will not stay here again.
- Carol (5/5): It was okay. - Location They say that there is breakfast available. There was no food or coffee for breakfast and no coffee pots in the rooms.
- Krystal (6/5): - For the area it was fine. There are no other close options around. It was clean enough and we felt safe. Traveled for business. We didn't use the outdoor pool but the water was very clean and clear. Its an older renovated property. There was no coffee maker in the room, so that would be a recommendation is to add a coffee maker. If needed for business we would stay there again.
- Jessica (9/5): Excellent overnight stay - The room was very clean, staff was very friendly. The breakfast was great, the waffles were great my husband loved the eggs
- Joshua (8/5): - Clean and a polite staff.
- Michael (10/5): - Great AC and very comfortable bed. Convenient to a lot of places. We stopped here to stay the night before heading to Virginia.
- Lois (6/5): Could have done a better job at cleaning the bathroom - The bed was comfortable The bathroom was already nasty and dirty when we had gotten there and when I went to ask for them to clean it up no one could be found at the front desk …
I ended up having to clean our bathroom before we could use it because of the dirt all over the floor and our bathroom sink would not drain and when I went to tell someone about that again there was no one there to help.
- Connie (10/5): - It was hood
- Charles (10/5): - Friendly staff clean rooms
- Lisa (8/5): - Pleasant stay. Clean, comfortable, friendly staff. In room coffee significantly better than at breakfast. Brew in room before you head to breakfast.
- Donna (8/5): Very good -
- Covina (10/5): - Don’t really have any complaints about our stay the people next-door did get a little rowdy
- Gregory (8/5): - Nn
- Tammy (3/5): Never again! - Nothing They never cleaned my room
The place smelled horrible
- Melissa (6/5): - This place needs an upgrade. The fitness facility looked like a closet with exercise equipment that they picked up at a garage sale. Only stayed two nights so I didn’t relocate. Won’t be staying here again.
- Jeffrey (1/5): Bad - I liked nothing. Nothing was good.
- Sader (8/5): YES! I would stay here again! - Soundproofing is great. Bed was super comfy. Accommodated my need to stay an extra night, with a minimum of hassle. Breakfast is a little carb heavy. The available protein options very processed. Hard boiled eggs might be easier and better than the processed, prepackaged omelet.
- ROGER (6/5): - Average hotel.
- Kennith (9/5): Superb - Location value No elavator long walk to the room
- Janet (8/5): Good stay - It was good for the few nights there. Breakfast was good. Good variety.
- Ray (6/5): Pleasant -
- Kitty (10/5): Exceptional -
- ROGER (6/5): Ouch - The chairs were terrible. Desk chair broke and setting chair not comfortable
- Mary (8/5): Satisfying stay and will stay again if in the area - We had a 2 night stay. The beds were very comfortable. The rooms were clean. Everything worked in the room. The breakfast was satisfying! Our last night the ice maker in our hall wasn’t working; however, the front desk provided us with ice from the kitchen freezer.
- Tonika (10/5): Exceptional -
- Chris (8/5): Vera ll good stay would stay again. - Location and gaily quiet. Not many options for breakfast.
- Natalie (10/5): Clean and comfortable - It was just as described. The room was very clean and comfortable. We had the jacuzzi tub in the room and it was a great feature and relaxing.
- William (10/5): Convenient to Patriot Center. Wonderful woman at check in time. Very clean and quiet. - It was fine. Liked the omelet.
- Deborah (7/5): Only place to stay in Hillsboro, warned about safety being a problem, but I did not experience that. - My room was next to the outside door, easy to take my dog out. Staff at checkout was very pleasant, but not the staff who checked us in…breakfast foods were prepackaged eggs, but were good. Shower had some mold in it.
- Owens (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bruce (4/5): - Pillows were stained with blood and sweat. Floors/carpet were dirty. Very limited breakfast. Pull out sofa mattress very worn and thin and uncomfortable
- david (10/5): - Breakfast was good room very clean people @ front desk very nice. Price need come down.
- Ashley (10/5): Exceptional -
- Leedy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bettina (9/5): Superb -
- Michael (6/5): Pleasant -
- Becky (8/5): Very good -
- Robert (6/5): - Every thing was good except the front desk woman during breakfast. I arrived 8:40am with no waffle mix. The attitude I received, of “lm not making much cause u arrived so late” was one thing but when my wife was working at 9:20am same day at breakfast area and was asked “ are u gonna be here all day cause I gotta mop” was very rude. He attitude needed correction.
- Rosa (8/5): - The property looked newly remodeled, staff was friendly.
- jans (6/5): - Property is ran down a bit. Door handle was loose and falling off in the bathroom. Looks a bit like a slum lord special. Room was clean though. Worst part was that the morning person keeping the breakfast area/front counter. They were coughing all over the place with no attempt to cover their mouth. The breakfast was real sad. The owner manages or lives on site too it appeared. Way too eager to shutdown a breakfast that I’d give a 3/10 too. Really low quality items too. The bread was wrapped in plastic by hand and with that worker coughing everywhere…. No thanks. Not a lot of choices for hotels in the area but I’d advise staying in a bigger city where it’s more competitive. The ponderosa in town was on point though.
- Rachel (8/5): Very Clean and Great Service - People are very nice hotel
is clean. The refrigerator froze what we put in it, the bed was not very comfortable and the toilet paper was less than one ply, but it was what was expected for this type of property!
- Holly (4/5): - I signed for a price when I checked in (through Expedia) and then I was charged a different price in the end
- alexander (4/5): Agree with others. - The room I stayed in was recently remodeled based on the other reviews. With that said, clenliness was consistent with other reviews as well. Bathroom floors had urine around the toilet stained into the caulk, stray hairs on the counter and the floor. To me, it appeared mopping and overall cleaning was being minimally completed. The check in staff was great, things were quiet at night. I would stay again given lack of options in the area but its not perfect.
- Lindy (2/5): - I booked rooms for me and my mom, she is 82. They said they only have rooms on the second floor no elevator. I have a broken bone, and a cane, and she is 82. We couldn't stay there. I reached out to your chat and received no help. Now we are 300 miles away from ho,e and in a very gross side of the road hotel. This is a very small town bot to many options.
- Doug (4/5): May look for other hotel options - A room was available Stairs were quite dirty,
- John (8/5): Very good -
- Phillip (10/5): Very pleasant - Our stay almost started off very rocky. We had my 95 year old father with us and he has severe dementia. Initially they had our two rooms booked on different floors. We explained that we had to have adjoining rooms, or at least next to each other. They rearranged some things to put us in the adjoining rooms. One night my father managed to get outside in the middle of the night to "check the weather" as he said. Someone found him wandering around and took him to the office. The clerk brought him to our room. The staff all knew he was here and they asked about him throughout the week. It could have been a very bad situation if we were not moved into the adjoining rooms. They also advised us on how to guarantee we can always have the adjoining rooms. Once we got the placement of our rooms resolved, we had no complaints at all. One suggestion though it would be nice to have a toilet brush and possibly a plunger in each bath room, as there were times we would have liked to clean the toilets ourselves, so the staff wouldn't have to and one night we did need to request a plunger, but the clerk brought it to us right away.
- MICHAEL (6/5): - It was a big clean room, but the toilet was running constantly and they knew it before I made the reservation and didn't offer a discount or room swap. Disappointing, didn't get much sleep.
- Travelingagain2day (7/5): Good - I had paid extra for a late checkout. For some reason, they still thought they had to try and get me out of there by normal checkout time. It was rather annoying to be disturbed several times when I still had plenty of time before I needed to be out.
- Levonda (8/5): I would stay here again - Breakfast was great, staff was exceptional, location was perfect. My only complaint was that the mattress cover was filthy on one bed. Sheets were clean, but I slept in the clean bed because of the large stains on the other mattress cover that I could see under the sheets.
- Ian (7/5): Good -
- Richard (8/5): - It was quiet and a relaxing stay
- TERESA M (10/5): - Everything was great
- TERESA M (10/5): - Everything was great
- Beth (4/5): - Staff was pleasant, but the room was damp and smelled musty. The smoke alarm was pulled off all the wires exposed, and was missing. The back door into the hotel would not shut therefore a security issue. The bathroom counters were dirty.
- Dylan (10/5): Exceptional -
