Nina (10/5): Nice Staycation - A lovely old Victorian. Our room was big and the bathroom nicely updated. It even had a great little sitting room off the bedroom and a nice electric fireplace. The coffee machine in the pantry was a treat. For the price for the night a voucher for the bakery on property for a light breakfast would have been fitting. The first bathrob I put on had not been washed..ugh! The 2nd one was fine though.
Willets (9/5): Nice place - This property is rich in antiques and furnishings Beautifully decorated The shower dribbled water and had no handrails. The low flow shower should be taken off and replaced with a full flow hand held. Had rails should be installed for older folks insecure on their feet.

Louisa (9/5): Schöne Unterkunft mit sehr netter Gastgeberin. - Das geschichtsträchtige Haus ist wundervoll von Aussen und von Innen. Schöner Garten, schön eingerichtet. Netter Empfang. Sehr nette Gastgeberin. Es gibt die Möglichkeit 2 Fahrräder zu benutzen. Und eine Kaffee-Teeküche, wo auch Früchte bereit liegen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir hatten zwei tolle Zimmer gegen den Garten und die Strasse. Aber es war sehr ruhig. Die Main-Street der Ortschaft ist sehr schön, mit alten Häusern. Wir waren angenehm überrascht! Auch vom Essen (REstaurant wurde von der GAstgeberin empfohlen). Nichts, war sehr schön. Wäre gerne länger geblieben. Wir waren aber auf der Durchreise an den Crater Lake. Leider gab es an diesem Morgen kein Frühstück. Aber eine Bäckerei ist daneben und man kann dort im schönen Garten gemütlich essen.

Alejandria (10/5): Worth every penny! Beautiful experience. - I LOVED THE PROPERTY AND EVERY LITTLE DETAIL. This is one of my favorite properties I have ever visited. The decorating is so beautiful. Everything but the tv was wonderful. :-) The TV in room 16 didn't work. I couldn't get it to turn on. There were no instructions how to use it and I'm not an idiot, so I don't believe the TV was working and/or there was an issue with the TV controllers.

We were also impressed with Jacksonvilleitself. It is a beautiful, charming little. Although there are a few other inns in Jacksonville, we wouldn't consider staying anywhere else. We will be returning to Jacksonville and will stay nowherevelse. I HIGHLY recommend anyone reading this review do so, as well.

William (9/5): Beautiful relaxing and comfortable Inn in a historic small Oregon town. - Beautiful historic rooms restored so they were functional with modern electricity, plumbing, and luxurious bed, comforters, and furniture. You wouldn't know the building was from the 1800s, except for the beautiful wood floors and high ceilings throughout. On site parking was great. The coffee in the inn common room was bitter, even though whole bean. The breakfast next door at the Inn bakery was Scottish pastry, which frankly looked a bit heavy, and wasn't our taste. There is an excellent coffee shop around the corner at the end of Main Street . There are several good restaurants in town.

Kathryn (10/5): Wonderful stay in the HEART of Jacksonville - This beautiful Victorian inn was absolutely beautiful. Location wise , it was exactly what we wanted. To be able to walk to the downtown, site see and go out to dinner. On a busy street, but , you did not hear a thing. The room was big, comfortable, as was the bathroom. Bed was sooooooooooooo comfortable, sheets, pillows, all. Loved the breakfast niche, we grabbed a piece of fruit and had wonderful coffee from a fabulous coffee maker. Hmmm. That we had to leave

Chris (10/5): - We came to Jacksonville for one night for a concert at the Britt and couldn't be happier about our stay at McCully House Inn. The property itself is very unique...very cool historical details (like the old well they found during a remodel that you can look down from near the lobby area). The inn is located near the end of the main road through town as easily walkable (it took us about 7 minutes to walk to the Britt). Our room was lovely...spacious with windows on two sides that provided a lot of light but also had enough tree cover to provide some privacy. Fresh flowers in the room when we checked in and loved the homemade granola in the pantry area. Our only regret was that their new bakery, which is located right next to the Inn, wasn't open on Monday/Tuesday when we stayed...menu looked fantastic and sounds like it is a fairly new venture. Hoping to make this an annual tradition and we will certainly be back!

Donald (9/5): Superb - The Inn is perfectly located within walking distance of the town, and the staff is wonderful. The room in which we stayed was large and filled with light. The toilet and tub shower are small but adequate. There is an always open pantry with a coffee machine, ready to prepare cereals and fridge stocked with yogurt. The bed was too soft. The sink is located in the closet, which feels incredibly cramped and there is no window. Everything in the pantry except for the fruit has high sugar content, so if one is on a restricted sugar diet, there is nothing to eat.

The property, amenities, and staff were all exceptional. We also enjoyed shopping and dining in the immediate area around the inn. I highly recommend!!

Geoffrey (10/5): - This is a beautiful property with a redesign that doesn’t miss a thing. It is elegant with a rich history and a current ownership that knows how to marry the past and present. Every detail is polished and pops out and makes guests wish they could have similar ideas and furniture for their own dwellings. The staff is incredibly courteous and proud of both the history of the building and the upgrades just about completed. The little town of Jacksonville is outside the door, offering boutique stores and bars and restaurants and live music. The McCully House is a perfect addition to this charming town.

Aaron (10/5): Unique, beautiful inn with great location and fun details. - The house had lots of character. We loved the old architecture and new feel. For an old house it was all on top shape and did not have a musty smell. Loved the window down into the old well also the extras, 24 he pantry with deluxe coffee machine. Bikes, picnic baskets and gym card for checkbout was a nice surprise. Loved our stay.

An.di.du.son (10/5): fabulous - The rooms are spacious here, the bed was very comfy. Ample temperature controls for the room, and the bathroom was so nice = HUGE! Toiletries are very high quality, and I like that there are large bottles which are refilled, keeping away from plastic waste. The location could not be better - right in the heart of Jacksonville. Highly recommended! no cooked breakfast - but the inn is not set up for that, so...
Mary (10/5): - The attention to detail for the services and amenities was beyond expectation. We travel often, but never slept so well, nor enjoyed a stay quite like this one. The room was quiet, like we had the entire place to ourselves. The beds were extremely comfortable, the coffee and snacks were wonderful. We could walk to amazing places to eat and shop for unique and local items. We had no plans to return to Jacksonville as we were here for a family event, but we enjoyed it so much we are creating an excuse to return!

Susan (10/5): Delightful, Katheryn the owner will make you feel welcomed and part of the “family”. - Wonderful place to stay, right in Jacksonville, shopping, eating and wine within blocks. McCully house is being lovely restored preserving the history of the building. Owner is responsive and lovely to talk to. A pantry has coffee, tea, yogurt, granola and other goodies available for guests 24/7. They are adding a restaurant /cafe’ that will open next spring. Bikes both electric and regular are available free of charge for guests as well as a picnic basket backpack. Room was very comfortable, bright and clean with high quality sheets and robes. Really a lovely place to stay!
Lyle (10/5): Warm and welcoming, with exceptionally responsive staff - The front desk staff was exceptional. Check-in was a breeze, and we immediately felt right at home. The rooms were cozy, well-equipped, and inviting. Not much you could do about the construction as you renovate the property. Overall, the tree removal and demolition didn't inconvenience us much at all. We're looking forward to getting back to Jacksonville to see the changes once you're done.

Patty, our host was more than welcoming, even moving her car for us to have a parking spot by the front door. Great pantry open 24 hours. Super comfy bed/sheets/linens. A gem!!! We will definitely return. We loved everything.
Katherine (10/5): Good B&B-adjacent with open pantry - The upgrade to the larger room was much appreciated. The room was huge! There was plenty of parking alongside the building. The pantry in the morning had a nice variety of higher class goods. Loved the Bob's Red Mill oatmeal and fruit. The inn itself is located next to a park and a small coffee shop. Lots of restaurants within easy walking distance. I'd suggest a walk around town as the streets aren't super busy and it feels safe. I do wish there had been more flavors of yogurt (berry-centered specifically).
Ransom (8/5): Quaint Inn in a prime location - Great location in a historic home. The linens were high end! Although smaller rooms are expected in historic homes made into B&Bs, this one had no place to hang wet towels or store suitcases so you found yourself very cramped while not in bed. No freshen service should also now be a thing of the past especially at high non budget prices.
