There was an event held in the lobby and to get to our car we had to walk in the middle of their presentations it was very awkward. Also when asking about dinner options for slightly higher end just not over the top The receptionist informed me "Well you are in Montauk " I was not impressed.

- Debra (4/5): For the money I would most definitely stay on the ocean in a more updated hotel - It was on the bay It was very old and needs updating although our room was updated the bed was extremely uncomfortable !There was a conference going on in which it was very difficult to maneuver to get around the tables to get to our room. We had to sit and wait while the gentleman holding the conference blocked us in order to get to our room with bags and boxes, I finally stood up and kindly asked the gentleman if we can get by to our room! The tables were set up in the walking space to the rooms as well . The room we had faced a parking lot not the water.

- Hyunwoo Choi (9/5): - 위치가 좋았고, 레스토랑은 문을 닫은 때에 방문해서 맛볼 수가 없었다. 편안하고 훌륭한 숙소였다. 후기를 볼 때 이게 성수기인지 비수기인지를 확인하는 게 좋다고 생각한다. 나는 비수기에 방문했고, 관광객이 거의 없고 가격도 저렴했다. 그래서 만족도가 높았다. - 아래의 아쉬웠던 점은 이 숙소의 장점을 덮을 만큼 크리티컬한 문제들은 아니다. 이 아쉬웠던 점을 적는 이유는 호텔이 개선되기를 바라는 마음에서임을 미리 밝힌다. 아이를 씻기고 나서 아내가 목욕을 하는 와중에 온수가 끊겨서 빨리 나와야 했다. 처음에 체크인하고 들어가서 방의 청소가 잘 안 되어 있었다. (바닥에 전자담배 떨어져 있었음) 추운 날이었는데, 소파베드에 이불이 여름용이어서 새벽에는 추위를 느꼈다. 주차 공간이 입구 쪽에는 협소해서 조금 멀리 주차를 해야 한다.

- Laszlo (10/5): A charming castle with beautiful views - It’s nicest hotel in Montauk that used to be a luxury resort. This unique lodging looks spectacular on the outside and on the inside, especially the ground floor. The Monte’s restaurant that can be found on site offers very delicious food and a good variety of dishes for children as well. We loved our loft, it was very spacious and all rooms and bedding was super clean. The pool’s depth was perfect for kids. It’s very close to the Main Street as well as to the lighthouse and Camp Hero. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We really loved our stay and highly recommend it for anyone traveling to Montauk. Nothing.

There was an extra blanket, but the bed coverings weren't warm enough. The shower was hot, but the pressure was weak. The chairs were not useful.

- I6253RGjenniferp (2/5): Terrible Customer Service - Absolutely Terrible Customer Service – Avoid This Hotel I rarely take the time to write reviews, but the experience I had with this hotel was so disappointing that I feel obligated to warn others. I want to preface that our stay is schedule for March 2026 and this is from my phone call with the general manager. I spoke with the general manager with a request regarding a reservation issue, and instead of receiving basic courtesy or professionalism, I was met with rudeness, impatience, and an unbelievably nasty attitude. The general manager spoke to me in a condescending and dismissive tone from the very start of the conversation. Rather than trying to help or even listen, she was argumentative, uninterested, and clearly irritated that I had called at all. At no point did she make any effort to be understanding or solution-oriented. It honestly felt like I was inconveniencing her just by calling. Customer service in the hospitality industry should be about making guests feel valued and respected. This general manager completely failed at that. I have never been spoken to so rudely by someone in a professional position. Because of how poorly I was treated, I would never consider staying here and would strongly recommend that others look elsewhere. There are plenty of hotels that actually care about their guests. This is not one of them. If this is how the general manager treats potential customers, I can only imagine how guests are treated once they arrive. Save yourself the frustration and book somewhere else.

- Erin (8/5): Definitely would stay here again. - The property was nice and clean. Great views and spacious room. Beds were comfortable which is really important to me. We stayed in a loft room. The down stairs living area was cold with all the heat being upstairs.

Little to no hospitality from management and reception staff. Whole place was a kill joy. All pomp but lacked on basic typical hotel necessities and cordial human connection
