Guest Reviews
- Kaylee (8/5): - Simple room but well located
- Jennifer (10/5): - Lovely roof top bar with an incredible view and great service! The breakfast menu was a nice added bonus! Friday night was a bit loud but not enough to deter staying here again.
- Osman (10/5): - Its location is within walking distance of everything. Furthermore, the service, cleanliness, food and drinks, and friendly service will be unforgettable memories. I recommend it to everyone.
- Mabel (10/5): - Nice rooftop
- Acrive (10/5): - Clean, great service and beautiful views!
- Ragui (10/5): - Very nice and clean place. Walkable distance from everything to see in Athensp
- Francesca (8/5): - Recently renovated, superb view from rooftop, nice ambience in the rooftop, nice staff. Location area not very nice, small access to the rooms
- Leo (8/5): Wrong room stay - The room was alot smaller than i expected...i booked the "superior " room but it was barely big enough to turn without hitting something...when i compared the room to the online photos, it was a complete different room they paced us in...luckily the service made up for it so no complaints..but if the room we wanted was not available, they should have stated so.
- christine (10/5): - Our hotel stay was excellent. Excellent options for dining out very close by walking distance. Close to the airport. Hotel was very clean. Breakfast was included in the morning which was excellent also after 6 PM you can watch the sunset all on the rooftop lounge, which had unbelievable views of the Acropolis Beautiful beautiful view from the rooftop lounge. We loved this hotel.
- Andrew (10/5): - Excellent room. Great breakfast choices. Very walkable to most things you want to see in Athens.
- Carlos (10/5): - The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating. The hotel is super clean and incredibly peaceful despite being in the middle of it all! Amazing experience!
- Damien (10/5): - Lovely room and location + fantastic view of the Acropolis from the rooftop dining
- Teresa (8/5): - Beautiful interior
- The5Cats (8/5): NICE HOTEL BUT..... - This is a lovely, recently renovated hotel but it does have some issues that may not be appropriate for everyone. I agree the abandoned, graffitied building across the street is more than a little creepy. Specially at night. It's very dark and if no one has told you about the doorbell at the top of the doorframe you're rather stuck as there really is no staff after 5pm. There really isn't a lobby either and you need to haul your luggage up a short flight of stairs as there is no doorman or porters. We arrived during the day so there was people staffing the hotel but I can't imagine arriving at night. Staff are friendly. The restaurant on the top floor was lovely for breakfast. But , as there was a screw up with a taxi that should have been at the airport to pick us up but wasn't, they offered us a free drink in the bar which is the same spot used for breakfast. When we went up to take advantage of that drink there was no one there. The room itself was lovely but the noise from both the street and the hallway prevented us from getting a good night's sleep.
This hotel was recommended to us as a great place to stay before boarding a cruise ship. I would stay closer to the cruise terminal next time as this hotel is quite far from both the airport and the cruiseship terminal.
- HaleF643 (10/5): great location, cmfortable and accomidating staff - In the morning, we awoke to the church bells nearby. We had a lovely breakfast on the top floor with views of the Parthenon. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. Great location near the main tourist sites and good restaurants
- Melissa (10/5): - This was a very nice hotel. In and easily walkable area. The entrance was a little difficult to find. The staff was friendly and it was very comfortable. The rooftop bar had an amazing view.
- lovestotravel543210 (2/5): Don't stay here! Vacant abandoned, derelict building across from entryway is a safety concern. - Upon arrival at the hotel, I realized the door is locked. It is covered with bars. I was trying to knock and no one was answering the door. There is no doorman or Porter to help with luggage. It turned out There is a call button system that we were not given instructions for prior to arrival. We tried to call the hotel when we could not gain entry and no one answered the telephone after trying twice, a neighboring business had to help me use the entry buttons to make contact with someone inside the hotel. This hotel is not handicap accessible. There is a flight of steps before reaching the very small elevator. Two people cannot fit in the elevator with luggage this is not a luxury hotel, there is no 24 hour reception. The reception desk is not attended after 11 PM. My room had a view of a caved in rooftop. The reason that the door to the hotel must stay locked is because there is a vacant derelict building across the street. There is graffiti all over the outside of several buildings on the street, which is very offputting. there was a serious concern for personal safety in this situation. Upon returning to the hotel after dinner, the room next to ours was wide open with no one in the room. This is an unstaffed hotel all evening.
- Dalton (10/5): - This property is a jewel set in a once elegant neighborhood that has seen better days - but once inside the elegant 19th century doors you are transported back to an elegant urban mansion that has been upgraded abd transformed into a welcoming and ultra comfortable experience - glistening hardwood floors marble bathrooms and breakfast and elegant bar on rooftop with view of acropolis - only min walk to Sydigma and Hermou and red line metro - Ioannis and Penny are super helpful along with Christo on the rooftop - a wonderful experience !
- Mohamad (10/5): Totally satisfied - The location was amazing, the staff was super friendly and helpful and very clean and it has a nice vibe to it i always recommend this property to any one visit Thins
- Catherine (10/5): - Service was extraordinary. Great location but that brings loud streets.
- robbiepitts (10/5): Wonderful safe hotel - Beautiful 3rd floor room with high ceilings. We had a bedroom, sitting room and 2 balconies. Refrigerator and espresso machine in the room. Bathroom had a walk in shower which was great. Rooftop had an awesome breakfast buffet or order off the menu in the morning and was a great place for a drink at night.
- 579sharong (8/5): Overall good choice - We enjoyed our stay at the Athens Mansion Hotel.
We had a corner room which was very large and comfortable. Bathroom was adequate but towels are thin and very luxurious .
There is a reception area upon entering the building. Elevator or stairs take you to the “lobby” . There are only 2 seats available so I wouldn’t consider this a lobby . The staff was very helpful.
The view from rooftop area is lovely with a nice breakfast . Excellent Parthenon views.
The street is noisy and not a very nice street at all. Location is good to access restaurants
- dbrown1988 (10/5): A Dream come true…Acropolis lit up at night view! - We stayed in the corner suite which offered incredible landmark views. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. They made us feel part of the family and embraced us into their cultural charm. The rooftop restaurant was magnificent and the night view of the acropolis was a check off of my bucket list. Highly recommend this beautiful hotel!
- Strizel69 (6/5): Clean, central, but noisy - Clean hotel in the old city of Athens, a city that never sleeps….. and so does the traffic!
Very friendly staff (I want to mention John the Barkeeper at the rooftop bar; and Kiki handling the breakfast service). The noise from the all-night-busy-traffic street comes with the central location.
- Kathleen (10/5): - Great location, pleasant staff - accommodating to our earlier arrival and kept our bags while explored!
- theresas206 (8/5): Great location - Very clean hotel, big rooms, great location in city central. We were able to walk to all tours, restaurants and attractions with ease. The view of the Parthenon from the roof top bar was spectacular. The roof top bar was great, good prices, amazing service, friendly staff. The street traffic was a little loud at times, so bring earplugs. Other than that, would definitely return.
- Jekaterina (6/5): - Small rooms. Thin walls…can hear everything
- rodneys526 (6/5): Disappointed - We upgraded to the corner suite which was still quite cramped. The staff were good as was the roof top restaurant and breakfast.
Surprised this is listed as a 4 star. Probably a 2 star at best.
Note there is no tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Also no room service to order coffee and tea outside breakfast and dinner times. Although there is a self help coffee and tea making on the roof top terrace this is locked up at the close of breakfast and reopens at dinner.
No iron or ironing boards in the room.
Will not stay here again. This experience not puts
Me back to the bigger chains who have well publicized standards.
- IainJudy (10/5): Great value and Location - This was a beautiful hotel overlooking the Acropolis and the Parthenon. Thanks to Kathy in reception for her help and guidance with tours. The room was just beautiful and the rooftop bar had the most amazing views. Breakfast and afternoon cocktails on rooftop terrace just the best thanks to Kikki, Nicole, and Bianca. Not to forget John and Christo for cocktails. This hotel was in the centre of Athens. Located close to restaurants and Syntagma Square. Love to return, Thanks to you all
- N3851NPadamg (6/5): June 2023 - Hotel was nothing more than average.
Pros: Clean room and conveniently located in the heart of Athens. The man working the desk was very friendly and offered suggestions.
Cons: Small rooms. Felt more like an AirBnb and less like a 4 star hotel due to the close quarters. The hotel is located in a busy spot and church bells go off on the hour. We also paid for a king size bed but the bed was a queen.
- Valentina1990G (10/5): Wonderful!!! - The room, the corner suite was pleasantly large. The hotel itself was immaculately clean. The staff extremely friendly and accommodating. Helped immediately with any requests. In addition, this hotel speaks for itself of the excellent location. The breakfast on the roof terrace very good and the view terrific!!
- DMJM61 (10/5): Good place in the city - Flights to Athens were a disaster due to strikes in Germany where we where to catch a connecting flight. Ended up rerouted and arrived in Athens 12 hrs late. Hotel kindly organised a taxi to pick us up as firm that Voyage Privé had arranged were uncontactable - probably due to fact that the Saturday was a national holiday to celebrate Greek independence from Ottoman Empire.
Had heard some reviews saying the place was quite noisy- not in our experience though expect that would have been different if we had arrived on time had had the whole Independence celebrations in action.
Hotel is clean and tidy. Winding stairs right to top where roof terrace and dining room is. Lift quite small and stops on the last floor before the roof terrace, don’t think we ever used it except to transport luggage.
Rooms clean tidy functional. No complaints though wife was woken by church bells - not much can be done about that. Bathroom slightly cramped but adequate. Water hot when supposed to be and cold when supposed to be. Shower pressure fine. Was thinking would be safer to have a shower mat of some sort.
Staff very nice and attentive. Dining staff also excellent. Really only there for breakfasts, which were great, so didn’t try out bar services or other food.
Maybe location is not in the most salubrious part of Athens, but so what, it was absolutely fine and plenty of eating places in walking distance. Road is bit narrow so luxury coach is not likely to get down it with ease but taxis and people carriers no problems. Advantage is not busy traffic noise at all hours - over and above the fact that this is Athens and the traffic is pretty mad at rush hour.
Was booked as deal through Voyage Privé so was not expecting five star Hilton hotel but this hotel absolutely does its job well and don’t think I would hesitate in returning or recommending to others if they need an excellent base for visiting Athens.
- loobyloo1995 (10/5): Marvellous stay in every way - Vististed with my daughter on half term break. What a find! Wonderful little place. Excellent on every level. The room the decor the staff, breakfast was exceptional better than Michelin star breakfasts I have had- honestly! My eggs Benedict were divine.
Nothing was too much trouble for anyone. Easily arranged our 6am taxi to the airport with a breakfast bag to go! Thank you everyone at Athens Luxury Mansions your were fabulous !
- 609kgd (4/5): Four Star Rooms in a Two Star Hotel - Extremely disappointed in this place as I like to support boutique hotels. This is sending me right back to the big chains. I regret not reading the bad reviews ahead of time.
The good: Beautiful rooms, nice staff, gorgeous rooftop
The bad: Noisy all through the night, I haven't had such slow wi-fi since the 90's-- it was TERRIBLE, unknowledgeable staff -- the woman couldn't tell me anything interesting to do and told me it was too far to go to the sea discouraging me-- luckily i went out on my own and found out it was 20 minutes max from the hotel, cramped elevators, average breakfast, uninteresting and dirty area, the pictures are misleading, the area is terrible, if you're disabled or in a wheelchair, don't even think about coming.
Absolutely not worth the money. I would either pay this rate at a better hotel or pay less at a two star hotel that is on its level. Find a hotel in a beautiful area with a poo and that has pictures that truthfully reflect them.
- Vadim (2/5): - Paper thin walls. Everything is very tight and outdated. Hard to find location on maps. Mattress and pillows are rock hard.
- Kevin (6/5): - Very tiny elevator that couldn’t carry luggage and people. Old sewage so had to throw used toilet paper in a trashcan instead of toilet. Needs better sound insulation from loud neighborhood.
- faithg931 (10/5): Wonderful stay in Athens - Perfect location.
Wonderful rooftop bar. Christos the bartender up there was so helpful in recommending places to eat, even made us a reservation. He really helped make our trip better.
Beautiful views and breakfast on the rooftop.
Spacious corner room.
- azcat1218 (10/5): Could not ask for more - Comfortable rooms, the view from the rooftop overlooks the acropolis. George at the front desk is absolutely awesome and very helpful. We had your issues which he recommended a company and all turned out fantastic. Chris at the bar is a wonderful guy and recommends restaurants and is open for a great conversation over drinks. The food in the bar is also good and breakfast is served there as well as dinner. A wonderful experience
- amidlifeadventure (8/5): Lovely, immaculately clean hotel - We booked this hotel in Athens as the first part of our honeymoon. Despite notifying them of this in advance not one member of staff congratulated us which I felt was poor.
Notwithstanding this our room was immaculately clean throughout our four night stay and the three balconies within our room really lent to the atmosphere. It can be a bit noisy at night hence they supply earplugs if you need them but once the windows were shut and the air con on we were fine without them.
The hotel is really well located within walking distance (for us) of all the major attractions with a great selection of places to eat nearby.
We ate breakfast on the roof terrace of the hotel with lovely views of the Acropolis every morning. This was not included in the room rate for us and was 15 euros per person each morning which initially seemed quite expensive but having explored other places nearby we could not find anyone else offering such a good healthy menu with such a lovely setting .
The only real negative for us was the compact lift which could only really hold one suitcase and one person at a time.
- Stacia (10/5): - A lovely boutique hotel, very walkable to major attractions in Athens, the staff was exceptional - professional, courteous, extremely knowledgeable, very friendly and kind and went above and beyond to make my trip magical. The rooms were spacious clean and had beautiful views of downtown Athens. I could hear the bells of the church tolling in the morning which was incredibly memorable
- Intense-traveller (10/5): Very nice property, staff and view - Excellent. Very nice property and staff. Top roof is nice to have a drink at night or breakfast and have a beautiful view on the Acropolis. They try to accommodate your request as much as possible. Rooms are very comfortable, very clean. The only minus would probably be the isolation from the windows. Quite noisy from the streets but they give ear plugs... But if you want to rest, just be aware
- Cynthia (10/5): - It was a bummer that there wasn't a microwave or a coffee maker. I was scared that I had left my rings out accidentally when we left and when we came back all was there. The cleaning staff was awesome. The staff in general was great! We had a little trouble finding the door when we first arrived but otherwise was a stellar stay. Thank you!
- Sabeena (10/5): - The hotel staff are extremely pleasant and answered all our questions. The property is close to Acropolis and Plaka. Great food an reasonably priced.
- Thomas (10/5): Wonderful view in Athens - Amazing boutique Hotel in the lower Plaka with rooftop bar and restaurant overlooking tie Acropolis.
Staff friendly and helpful.
This was our second stay and would go again.
- Lauren (8/5): - My husband and I visited this boutique hotel as the last stop on our honeymoon. Our suite was gorgeous, clean and located in the most convenient area - right in the center of everything. The rooftop area was also the perfect spot for a night cap overlooking the Acropolis. The only con was that it was definitely a bit noisy at night. We had to play white noise to block out the music and mopeds outside
- David (10/5): - Staff was exceptional and always exceeding expectations. They opened the restaurant early for breakfast on two days to accommodate our schedule. Quiet location.
- Fred (8/5): Mansion Good Value as Advertised - Very pleasant short stay. Staff were extremely courteous and helpful. Room is clean and attractive. The mansion is very nice even if the sleeping rooms are a bit small. Great location in Athens. Near many great restaurants and historical sites. Hotel is as advertised and a good value.
- Patrick (8/5): - When booking our stay, we wanted to make sure we were walking distance to the nightlife and acropolis and this hotel is ideally situated for both. The hotel itself is very nice with spacious rooms. The rooftop is wonderful with great views of the Acropolis. The service was fantastic. James at the front desk was extremely helpful. I asked if he knew anyone that we could hire for a private tour of the acropolis and he knew connected us with an experienced tour guide who was excellent. The bartender on the rooftop (Chris I believe) was very accommodating as well and stayed late past the closing of the rooftop so we could continue to enjoy drinks and the view.
The only reason I did not give this the highest rating was the noise level. There is a church right behind the hotel that rings its bells starting at 6:30AM and rings every 30 minutes after that. Given how close in proximity the church is, the bells woke us up every half hour and had zero ability to sleep well after this time. Further, the Athenians party quite late and the noise level from the street came in quite clearly hearing music, laughter, conversations until 4-5AM. Note that we had a floor on the second floor facing outward, so perhaps there are quieter rooms upon request, but definitely a negative about our stay as we were quite tired during the 2 days we were there.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - My wife and I booked a stay at Athens Mansion Luxury Suites for our honeymoon. We had a free cancellation booking. When it came time to travel to Athens, our flights were cancelled due to COVID. We called the hotel 2 weeks ahead of time (prior to cancellation) and we were told that we could either cancel, or keep our rate and move it to some time in 2022. I requested to move it to June 2022, and I was told that I was all set.
2 weeks later, when we were originally scheduled, I get charge $460 for our stay which we had moved to 2022. I called and spoke with someone, and they told me that they do not move reservations, and that we missed our booking. They refused to refund me, and refuse to honor my 2022 booking I moved it to. Worst customer service I have experience for a hotel. I know that these hotels are hurting from COVID, but I tried to help them out by moving my reservation rather than utilizing the free cancellation.
This has been a nightmare, and they have stolen my money. I have not experienced this before with a hotel. Would never recommend this hotel. There are too many other better hotels out there with better customer service.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - I had some urgent printing just as I was leaving and Kostas on reception handled it super quickly and there was no charge. Really helpful. Also a free bottle of wine! Excellent
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Breakfast on roof terrace.
I have never yet received a vip benefit in this hotel or any hotel.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The hotel is absolutely gorgeous from the lobby to the rooms. The staff was so welcoming, fun, and prepared to give suggestions on routes, food, bookings, Ect.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very nice room. Good location if not a pretty street. Close to sites. Good value.
- Terri (10/5): - The rooms were elegant w good air con. Choice location, with a cooked to order breakfast. Couldn't imagine it better.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Just a wonderful hotel in the heart of Athens! Highly recommend it!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Amazing hotel ! Good location , many restaurants around here , super clean , I would like to share about staffs . All of staffs are wonderful, friendly and useful. Mr. PANOS help me a lot useful information in Athens and more . Mr . KOSTAS email to me a long list about necessary information in SANTORINI. Thanks you very much ! Absolutely stay here again . Edward
- Kim (10/5): Wonderful hotel in the heart of Athens - Lovely stay, the hotel is clean, nicely decorated with great facilities and is situated in the heart of Athens, surrounded by interesting shops, a minutes walk away from fabulous tavernas and a 30 minute walk to the Acropolis - if you’re heading that way remember to walk rather than go by taxi, there’s lots to see. If you arrive at night, don’t be put off by the closed shops and the graffiti, this place is safe and friendly. The shops come to life in the morning and the bars and restaurants are excellent.
- Patrick (10/5): Pleasant stay - Convenient location close to many things, hotel was newly renovated, and breakfast was amazing.
- Joannis (10/5): - Great location and service
We will definitely return
- Amanda (6/5): - The hotel has poor communication skills. Due to the current pandemic and travel restrictions we were unable to stay for the night. We emailed the hotel and they were not responsive - it also came to our attention that the manager who can approve travel requests or changes is only available on weekends for a small amount of hours. If you have no issues or last minute changes I’m sure this hotel is great. But we have been very disappointed.
- john (10/5): Pleasant stay - Beautiful place to stay, the whole staff from doorman to reception desk to the lady serving breakfast on their rooftop where very pleasant. They arranged airport pick up, and accommodated us by letting us check in early. The elevator is kind of small like almost all places in Athens, but no big deal ,just do an additional trip for the luggage and you will be just fine. On an end note , the room was spacious and very clean.
- YEKUTIEL (10/5): VERY GOOD - VERY GOOD. BEST LOCATION.
FRIENDLY STAF.
- OJ (8/5): - Likes: Location, high ceilings, near a supermarket, cleanliness, near good places to eat
Dislikes: Rooms should come with bathrobes and need better slippers. Need more electric sockets as the corner room only had 2 electric sockets (by the bedsides)
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Fab place, fab location, great breakfast and helpful staff
- Hrag (10/5): Perfect stay in Athens - Everything about this hotel is amazing. The reception staff are phenomenal, housekeeping is awesome and the kitchen staff who prepare breakfast are kind and naturally talented. The only drawback is the noisy church bells across the street on top of each hour as of 4am! But thats a problem for all Athens, not just this hotel.
- Elle (10/5): - Everything was superb at our hotel. Comfy beds beautiful room, lovely staff. Highly recommend
- Bernadette (10/5): Exquisite Hotel - The hotel was superb! The room was beautiful, perfect location and exquisite breakfast. However the Staff at the hotel would receive 10 out of 10. They went out of their way to ensure we got the best service!
- Sarah (10/5): Superb - Superb hotel, great staff, and location. Each member friendly and gave great advice about Athens, where to eat ,shop etc,.Hotel looks shabby from outside but inside Wow! I’ve been to Athens often and in future will stay here . Great cooked breakfast served on rooftop.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Great place for city trip - The location of the hotel is great, in the city center and close to all the sights. The hotel is very clean and bed is comfortable. The breakfast has few options and the lady serving the breakfast is super nice. Coffee is the only let down. The staff in general is very helpful and friendly. Great place for city trip.
- Gideon (10/5): Best 4 stars hotel!! - One of the best 4 stars hotel I have ever been. The personal treatment made all the difference. I hardly recommend to stay in this hotel!! All the stuff are great!!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - A wonderful hotel centrally located with all the amenities of a 5 star boutique hotel. The staff was friendly., helpful and profesional., specially Sotiris Duakatis who went the extra mile and acted as a true concierge., helped hook our trip out of Athens and more. I highly recommend this hotel gem.
Restaurant rooftop was amazing view., and food.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - They call themselves "... Suites" but there was only a simple room. Not even a kettle to boil water which one has come to expect in hotels
- Michelle (10/5): A wonderful place to stay in the heart - This is a great place to stay! It’s in the heart of the city center, so any direction you go will have culture, art, and history. The rooftop view of the acropolis at breakfast though is the most amazing thing ever!
- Mary (10/5): Unforgettable Athens and Santorini - We arrived at Athen’s Airport with a fair distance to the hotel, Athens Mansion. From the outside, we were kind of concerned with all graffities on the walls. The door to the hotel had to be opend by the office once they saw you with the security camera and confirmed who you were. That was comforting. Once we were inside we were warmly welcomed by the hotel reception, Sotiris Diakatos. We could not have asked for a more helpful, informative management. We were going to visit one if the islands but didn’t have a specific plan he got on the computer and layed out several ideas for us to choose and helped us choose and how to get there and he reserved a rooms in a resort with a very reasonable price, arranged pick up from and to the port. We had the best time of our trip. When we came back the Athens Mansion was booked but he gave us room at the brand new hotel next door which I thought I was sleeping in my own bedroom .
Thank you Sotiris. We will be back. Both Athen Mansion hotels are worth booking .

- Edward (10/5): Great Hotel - The staff was fantastic. Only downside was the shower head needed to be replace. Bed was really comfortable. The sunset on the roof was great, as well as the breakfast.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Loved it. Despite the surrounding areas looking like a dump, once you enter, you are delighted with the cleanliness and great staff. The view at the top is AWESOME...especially at night. Would return again.
- Peter (8/5): - It is a beautiful place! Very warm welcoming! Will stay again!
- sarah (10/5): Faultless - What a perfect place! Superb service from the staff - so helpful and welcoming at reception, to the attentive bar tender and the charming and smiling lady at breakfast time. Place is spotlessly clean and very elegantly decorated. Breakfast on the rooftop terrace is amazing - what an absolute treat. Food is cooked to order and is delicious and beautifully presented. Top notch. Yes, the church bells do chime (hilariously not even to time!) but they did not at all disturb our stay, and in fact made it all the more unique. Fabulous location within walking distance to all the main areas. Would highly recommend and hope to return for sure.
- Chandru (10/5): Athens Hotel - The hotel is right in the centre of town 10-15 mins walk from any of the main sightseeing sites. Great location
- Verified traveler (10/5): - One of the most beautiful hotels I've ever stayed in! Gorgeous view of the Acropolis, high ceilings, and a lovely rooftop open restaurant. Close to all the sites. Employees are friendly and helpful. We could not have asked for more!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The rooftop terrace was amazing. Would have liked tea/coffee making facility. Good location.
- Julian (10/5): - From chec
- Ya (10/5): - Great place, very nice staff, spacious rooms and very good breakfast
- Lindsey (10/5): A True Diamond! - This was our first stop on a 14 day vacation to Athens, Mykonos, and Santorini. Out of the 4 hotels we stayed at during our visit, Athens Mansion Luxury Suites was one of the best & the BEST VALUE!
The service was truly 5-star. The front desk staff was super helpful
- Coordinated our transfer from the airport to the hotel and back again
- Gave us recommendations for places to eat and things to do in Santorini.
- We were always greeted with a warm welcome and provided assistance with our luggage.
The rooftop bar was unbelievable. Perfect unobstructed views of the Acropolis at night and a great bartender. You must try the Espresso Martini!
Made to order Breakfast was included in our nightly rate. Everything was fresh and cooked upon request.

- TerranceTilmon (10/5): - Wonderful staff and beautiful room
And location. Very helpful during our stay.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Location 7/10
Included la carte Breakfast 9/10
Service and facilities 4/10
There is no lobby since it looks more like an apartment complex than a hotel
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The staff were amazing and the location was fantastic....couldn't ask for more, so would definitely choose this hotel again.
- Vaska (4/5): - The location and the rooftop restaurant are great! The only problem I had with the hotel is that its air-conditioning is simply too weak for the room sizes they have, and for me, the lack of excellent air-conditioning is a health issue.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Wonderful hotel. Amazing service. They went above and beyond to help us have a great experience in the city.
- Spiro (10/5): Athens re-Pete - the location was fantastic, the hotel is a hidden gem in the neighborhood it is in. The team at the desk was helpful, kind and full of good recos.
- Kelli M. (10/5): - We loved this hotel! The staff was amazing. We actually booked this for our first two nights before hitting the islands and ended up booking this for our last night before flying home. The staff is amazing the rooftop breakfast is awesome! Drinks in the evening with a fantastic view but truly the people working here are AMAZING! Loved it :-) Great location as well. walking distance to everything.
- Debra (10/5): Elegant hotel close to all key attractions - What a beautiful hotel. The room was incredible with multiple balconies, high ceilings and classic elegance. Within walking distance of most major sites and tons of food options. Loved the beautiful church outside my window but agree with other reviews the bells were slightly disruptive although the hotel provided headphones. Loved the rooftop bar for drinks and eating breakfast. Service was also impeccable. The only drawback of the hotel was the area is pretty graffitied and not well maintained in the vicinity of the hotel although you can tell it once was nice. A true shame for such a beautiful hotel. Never felt unsage just lots of graffiti and seemed to be a food pantry across the street.i wouldn’t let this dissuade you though because the hotel itself is perfection ,
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Beautiful hotel located close to many restaurants and shopping areas. The rooftop deck and bar has a great view of the acropolis and serves a nice breakfast. Rooms were very clean and the bed comfortable. Our only complaint was that our room faced a church across the alley with very loud bells ringing at 6 a.m. I would ask for a room on the other side of the hotel.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Better internet speed and Air conditioning systems.
- Maria (10/5): Accommodation with a great roof top view - Very clean and comfortable with very helpful staff. Especially Sotiris.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - THIS IS AN EXCELLENT HOTEL IN ATHENS , The location is amazing very good , and the rooms are new , I will go back for sure
- Olivia (10/5): Great everything! - This hotel is hard to find at first because you’re expecting a big hotel front. Just go to the door and press the call button and they will take care of you 150%. I’m not joking. Their hospitality was incredible. We had a lovely room with a view of an Orthodox Church and the bells do go off every thirty minutes. BUT - its a pleasant sound and my husband, who wakes up at anything, slept through the bells. Don’t be alarmed by it. The hotel is located near Syntagma Square and Monastriki Square, and you can access anything via Uber easily. When you leave, they can arrange for a taxi and it’s wonderful. We will definitely be staying here again! The picture is of our view.
- Kate (10/5): - This hotel is great. I really enjoyed staying here. The only negative thing I have to say is the location wasn’t the best. I don’t feel safe, and was very noisy.
- Lonnie (10/5): Exceeded expectations !! - The Staff was WONDERFUL!!
Kiki the server in the breakfast restaurant was lovely . Andres at reception was equally accommodating .
We enjoyed our 3 night stay . The hotel is such a little Gem just 2 blocks away from a wonderful pedestrian area.
The Acropolis was viewed beautifully from their roof top restaurant .
If you love small boutique hotels with clean and wonderful service you must stay here.
My wife and I travel often and are very critical of service in the service industry .
This little hotel exceeded our expectations .
Thank you for a wonderful stay.
- Deborah (10/5): Amazing stay - Amazing stay. Has many restaurants and bars round the corner. Walk down the street (beside Harvest egg and wine) will bring you to shopping district and Plaka Street. All the way to the end will bring you to entrance to Acropolis
