- William (8/5): - Bed was super comfy and front desk staff was helpful and friendly. Bear Spray is loaned out free of charge by the hotel to guests that are hiking! Just ask at the front desk.
- Kristian (10/5): - Newly remodeled rooms are beautiful by Kodiak standards
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Quite comfortable, clean and great staff. Looking forward to next visit.

- Mehrtens (10/5): -
- Lee (10/5): Good overnight stay. - Older hotel adjacent (within walking distance) to Kodiak Airport, staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were comfortable and clean if slightly dated. Breakfast bar was basic but edible. No complaints. Thank you.
- Holeman (5/5): - location Rooms were hot with no cooling and i did not receive room service for my entire stay.
- Daniel (10/5): - Loved
everything!
- Linda (7/5): Good -
- Suzan (10/5): Kodiak Stay. - Very nice staff. Let us stay in the lobby for several hours after checkout and our scheduled flight time. Very quiet with clean rooms.
- benbO2413UP (4/5): Visit - Hot room, couldn’t open a window and ac didn’t run, mold in the ceilings and moisture on the floor nothing was there to fix the issue but the air is coming in and out and i have no clue why the door was closed so much pressure was there and i had a few days.
- Paul (10/5): - The GM was fantastic!!
- David (8/5): - Staff were excellent, but no on-site lounge or restaurant due to renovations.
- NathalieAndAndrew (6/5): Not quite centre of town.- - I get it- reverse cycle air conditioning isn’t a thing here in the almost arctic. Maybe that thinking needs to change? It was not a warm day- at best 50 deg with a wind chill- But… when we arrived the room was 80 degrees- and horribly stuffy. there was an ugly a4 sign on window “do not open window” which was a bit academic as all the window winders had been confiscated. Which indicates overheating of rooms is a known problem. So with the money we paid for this room- most expensive we’ve paid in Ak. I think there’s a case for aircon or a window with a winder- that the guest can be trusted with- rather thank having to ask the window winder monitor to come up and crack open the window. Which was done with alacrity. The room also had the noisiest pedestal fan- another indicator that overheating or rooms is a known and should be a preventable problem.
Also the breakfast whilst adequate was “strange”. The host walked into the room at least four times- each morning said not a word-worrisome as we were the only ones in the room- brushed a few crumbs aside, rearranged the fruit then walked out- also the Jerry built nature of the serving tables was a bit concerning. Another “ best practice “ opportunity missed was that all utensils, plates bowls and drinking receptacles in this dining room were disposable.
Also the windows to the reception and of the rooms needed a good scrub.
- Nathalie (7/5): Adequate but- - Location was ok- let’s face it nothing is far from anything in Kodiak if you have a car I get it- reverse cycle air conditioning isn’t a thing here in the almost arctic. - rodrigo (10/5): - Thank you
- Matthew (8/5): great value spot to stay - Close to the airport makes it really convenient. service is friendly and the basic breakfast is surved early so its easy to eat and run to work.
- Peter (9/5): All good and likely to rebook in future - Ideal for quick visit to Kodiak especially if needing to get early morning flight . Duty staff very helpful and lobby area comfortable. No problems
- Kelly (1/5): Overpriced with rude and unhelpful staff. - This is supposed to be one of the nicer hotels in town, but I was appalled with the customer service of the staff from the front desk all the way through the general manager. Stay somewhere else!

- Geoff (10/5): - Nice staff, helpful.
- Gary (8/5): Very good -
- Gerold (5/5): Hotel is old and dated. Comfortable bed and good location but that’s all it has going for it. - Comfortable bed and great location. 3 minutes walk to Alaska Air at Kodiak airport. The listing states there is a restaurant. This indicates that it is more than a breakfast location. So update the information. Nearest restaurant is in town. Window winder was broken and heating control was poor quality.
- Ralph (9/5): It was a very good stay. staff on the front desk were excellent! - The breakfast was great. One of the best I've had when included with stay.
- Jason (8/5): - Mary was a Great help
- Amy (7/5): Good -
- Bach (6/5): - Good place to stay if you have to catch an early flight out. But that’s about it.

- Laura (10/5): - Very nice staff (Mary) and check in- really good breakfast and coffee! Very comfortable bed- and quiet.
Super clean. Would highly recommend. Would choose it first for next visit!
- Perry (10/5): - Convenient
- Barbara (8/5): Overnight in Kodiak - We got in in the evening and there's no food except a vending machine nearby and the pizza place which has the only delivery has a $50 minimum. Other than that, breakfast was good and it was clean. The bed was very comfortable. The location.
- Jojie (10/5): amazing! -
- Anne (8/5): - Owners were so helpful
- Kathy (8/5): I was blessed there was an available room that late at night - Location The restroom in the dining area was out of order
- Kong (10/5): Great place to stay and near the airport (literally next to it) - The two front desk ladies were very helpful to us during our stay. We needed a bear spray and asked if they happened to have any and surely they did. Free of no charge. We gave it back after we left. The room was as expected and look just like the pictures. Also love that it was close to the airport.
- Isabella (10/5): Exceptional -
- Theresa (8/5): Very good -
- Angela (4/5): - Horrible breakfast. No hot water. Stayed on arrival and again 10 days later and still issues with hot water. Really could improve on many aspects.
- Charley (8/5): - This used to be the Buskin River Inn and all rooms will be remodeled in the next year. My room was nice. Bed was comfortable. Free breakfast was good and I really like the biscuits. Caught my daily limit of silver salmon in the Buskin River behind the hotel. Nice computer and printer set up in lobby. This is my must stay place in Kodiak.
- Panisara (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bryn (4/5): - It took a hit with COVID and closed it's restaurant, so weren't many oportunities to eat, and has no shuttle into town. The decafe Coffee in the lobby was cold, and i was told to heat it up in the micro-wave in our room..
- Barbara (5/5): Passable -
- Chris (3/5): Poor - Smelled quite bad. Staff forgot we needed shuttle in morning then the shuttle was breaking down
- TIMOTHY (6/5): - There were two families with straight up brats (both with four brats each); allowed their brats control them, zero parental guidance. Noisy, slammed room door constantly, and were out of control!
- Dr. (4/5): So far, ok, if you know that you need to take something for the evning dinner. - The breakfast isn´t a good one, cheap products availible only , not fancy, and nothing to recomment,
The service team is very kind and freindly and like to help. Thecj sperate Computer and the psossibility to print something ist very good. The breakfast could be much better, and the know how of the sorrundings could be a bit better, There are some nice places in the area but knowbody did´nt know this.
It would eb good if they had an depot for soft drings and some sweets, because there´s nothing around and no restaurant availible. Niot nice if you get there late at the evening.
- Rebecca (8/5): Overall, a great place to stay! Would definitely recommend. - The staff was very helpful and always friendly. Great customer service! The king bed was very comfortable. The location was convenient to the airport as well as to local restaurants, shopping, sightseeing, and the Coast Guard base. Breakfast could have been better, but it was convenient and included in the cost.
- Heather R. (10/5): - The staff was Super friendly & always helpful.
- Arthur (6/5): - There is no bar or restaurant on the property or within walking distance. Literally, no place to eat or drink. You have to use a door dash like facility.
- Kimberly (7/5): 2 night stay for a short adventure. - Room was clean.Convenient, within walking distance from the airport but a bit dated in appearance. Unsure about complementary breakfast. It was unclear where it was located.
- Lei (7/5): Good -
- Holly (10/5): Exceptional - N/A Nothing, everything was great
- Larry (5/5): Passable -
- Joanne (5/5): Passable -
- Merrick (4/5): Broken freezer - Very old hotel. I called 30 minutes before arrival and asked if they had a freezer for boxes of fish, they said yes I asked again to make sure it was a freezer not a refrigerator again they said yes. I got a shuttle there and it was a broken freezer cooling in the forties. The manager was there and said he called the owner that morning about the broken freezer but didn’t tell employee, so I asked for a shuttle to return to where I could put the fish he said they can only go to the airport which is about 200 yards away. Not very accommodating for their mistake. Would never stay again. There were several other boxes of fish in the broken freezer I hope they didn’t lose their fish.
- Sprowls (6/5): Our stay was pleasant, although the room size provided minor inconveniences. - The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The room was small and didn’t seem to be large enough to accommodate my family and myself with our belongings comfortably.
- Kurt (10/5): - It is a great hotel! Very clean, friendly, quiet and convenient!
- Winde (6/5): Nice, pleasant stay. - It is really close to airport. Hotel needs update.
- Daniel (6/5): - Rooms were clean and ok. Coffee was warm. Staff was friendly and helpful
- Ashley (8/5): - It was great, just would’ve like a room where the window opened so the room wasn’t so stuff for have 3 people and 2 dogs
- Norah (7/5): Good -
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Emily (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lester (10/5): Exceptional -
- Summer (4/5): Disappointing -
