Ottimi ristoranti tra i quali nota speciale per da Mimì via Achille Rosica competenza passione e cortesia fanno la differenza oltre al ristorante Goblin's in centro a lato della piazza Mario Pagano per una piacevole serata estiva.

We were investigsting my husband's heritage and found Peter to be a wealth of knowledge. Everyone was concerned that we had everything we needed. I hope to return again in the future!!
• gkritics (10/5): A spotless stay in the heart of the city - I had a fantastic stay at this centrally located B&B al Convento! Impeccably clean with a charming Italian flair. Owners are incredibly friendly and helpful. Though the building is old, renovations maintain its historical charm. Minimal noise from outside or other rooms. Highly recommend!
• Jane (8/5): - We were in two rooms below ground level, which were quiet, but no airflow. One room had a shower that was too small for an adult. They were clean and relatively comfortable otherwise. Breakfast was pastry and yogurt. We were able to park in one of the garages, otherwise, parking could be difficult. The location is awesome - very hard to find initially - it looks like it’s impossible to get to, but once you know, you know. Guessing that their other rooms may be nicer.

• Walter (8/5): - Es handelt sich hier um eine vorbildlich rstaurierte Wohnung in zentraler Lage. Die Inhaber (Familie) sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück lässt aber zu wünschen übrig.

• Peter (7/5): A good experience for a night. Results in a good travelling experience yarn for friends and acquaintances. - My room was in a separate building not attached to the main B&B building, so I cannot comment on the other rooms. Room had a full kitchen (which I didn’t use). Interesting ‘character’ accommodation, in an interesting part of the ‘old town’. It was cool at night, and I couldn’t figure out the heating (or if it had any). The proprietress doesn’t speak English, and my Italian was worse, so communication was challenging, even with digital translators.
• Lisatravels (6/5): Mixed experience - A quirky B&B in a central location. The bottle of water in the room was welcome after a long journey. Antonella was very charming and helpful. Although we don't speak Italian, she made every effort to offer us something for dinner that we would like, since there was no menu. Nothing was too much trouble for her. I wish we had known how easy it was to get from the train station up the hill to the town (it's in a non-descript concrete hut across the road and to the right of the station, I don't remember it being signposted). Instead we took a very expensive taxi ride. Google Maps is useless so some instructions from the hotel would have been helpful. Our room was considerably darker and dingier than the photos suggest. The breakfast server was grumpy and even rude. Not once smiling, shouting at us when we didn't understand and walked away when we tried to talk to her. However, she was perfectly pleasant to the Italian guest.

• Rocco (8/5): Ottima sistemazione in centro - Soggiornai in passato presso il B&B Al Convento e questa volta ho prenotato per un ospite. La sistemazione è stata molto apprezzata.
• Pilar (10/5): - A very comfortable room, breakfast included, everything worked well, it was a unique experience to stay at medieval ex convent building in the middle of Italy, restaurants, shops, unique coffee shops and one of the best candy, chocolate shop in town, a very small one, full of history, beautiful churches, safe and alive, wonderful people around, either alone or with company, it’s a unique place to visit, all highways are excellent, every morning. I woke up like new ready to discover an Italy not listed in the tourist books, Thank you Angelina for your wonderful hosting

Perfectly located in the heart of the old town, the premises are tastefully decorated, clean and extremely comfortable. The owners are helpful and always ready to assist the guests in anything the might need. Breakfast in the old basement was delicious and the atmosphere was just lovely!

You were amazing. So were the people we met. We accomplished more than we imagined we would. Could never had done so without you. • 881lydiaw (10/5): THE place to stay in Potenza - Bello, storico, pulito, centralissimo, personale stra simpatici e sempre disponibile ad aiutare o consigliare posti da mangiare...e...parcheggio accanto al B&B in pieno centro. Meglio di questo non esiste! Super cute, historic, way clean, directly in the center and the owner is one of the nicest guys you can meet. They take customer service to a whole new level- right down to the homemade (and tasty) crostata in the morning. He even helped us park our car (they have a garage right there- something that isn't easy to find in the center of the city). I'd stay here again in a heartbeat...
• RonTSmithers_B_C_ (8/5): Very friendly folks! - Lovely people (if not strong on languages other than Italian). They have redone some old buildings with impressive style and good taste. All the modern conveniences. While I was there they showed me another set of rooms they were converting into a kitchen suite. I moved from one room to another (because of reservations) which was across the street and down in a former wine cellar. I found the breakfasts to be on the skimpy side but, when I mentioned this, the young lady in charge went out and bought panini rolls, sliced ham and cheese for me! A word of warning, if you are in your own vehicle: this place is at the end of a labyrinth of VERY NARROW streets filled with VERY IMPATIENT Italian drivers. The proprietor, however, would maneuver my my car into a garage that is part of their set-up.
• nera0414 (8/5): Lovely comfortable B&B - This is really travelling back in time! Housed in a lovely ancient building, it offers all the mod cons one could ever want. Pedro has created a very comfortable and well thought out place to stay. The TV had some English channels which was good for us and the internet was good and strong. The only disappointment was the breakfast as we are not used to eating sweet items first thing in the day - probably a toaster and some plain bread would have suited us more - but there was a good selection of the sweet items offered. The B&B can be reached via a series of escalators and an elevator but Pedro felt sure we would get lost so kindly collected us and our luggage so he could initially show us the way. Once he had done that, we felt quite confident moving around.
• achaziris (10/5): excellent in all aspects - The friendliest owner and staff! He helped us in every possible aspect. Super clean, very comfy rooms, perfect breakfast. Very good value for money. Located right at the heart of the most spectacular part of the city. All in all a great place to stay, definitely recommended!
• Theo_10101 (8/5): The nicest place to stay in Potenza - Right at the heart of the historic centre of Potenza, the location of this B&B couldn't be better. Rooms are beautiful and modern, and there's an ample Italian breakfast. I've stayed a few times, and service can be a bit touch-and-go, depending on who is working there at the time (the owners are really nice, but they're not always around). But overall it's a lovely experience, and if you want to soak up the atmosphere of old Potenza, this is really the place to go.
• Chiccager (10/5): What a beautiful gem - I stayed here the day before my wedding and it was such a beautiful night. The room looks amazing and I could not believe how little I paid for such a room, with mosaic on the floor and the bathroom brand new. If you go to Potenza, please make sure to spend your nights there. The owner is polite and very easy going. The breakfast was huge, anything I wanted was there and the BB is right in the heart of the historical center of this cute medioeval town.
• southerngirl01 (10/5): Lke having your own home... - This bed & breakfast, is situated on the first floor of what was once a medievil convent,. It has 2 bedrooms to choose from and there is a common "family room" which has a flat screen tv and dining area with a small separate kitchen. Both rooms are very spacious. We stayed in the room with the king-sized bed, flat screen tv, modern bathroom with shower and plenty of drawer space. Also, there is a small attached room separated by a pocket door with a twin size bed, night stand, window, and large closet. This is perfect for a couple traveling with a toddler or small child. The other room has two twin beds and is also very spacious. The staff was extraordinarily helpful with everything from answering our many questions to leading us to the motorway on our departure. Since there is no manager on premises, you are given a key to come and go as you please. Also, you should be as specific as possible about arrival time to save on "waiting time". It's best to have a cell phone to contact manager, Pietro or his wife upon arrival. In the morning you can have a home- cooked, hot breakfast of choice. This was a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend this B&B for those who enjoy a more intimate setting.
