- Verified traveler (2/5): Buyer be-aware: hotels.com also lists shady hotels - This is the WORST HOTEL I have ever stayed in my life. In fact, my wife left the hotel room within 5 minutes because of the stench smell of sewerage in the room and I left within an hour after using the bathroom. The room condition was horrible at the best, soiled bedsheet and towel. The chairs have holes on it and the stains are so bad that one cannot seat on it. The showerhead is gone. Water comes like a jet. The room smells like raw sewerage. It was very pathetic. The manager was so rude I felt threatened to talk to him and left the hotel as fast as I could.
I am REALLY surprised, Hotels.com lists such shady hotels. This was a ripoff. I demand hotels.com should remove this hotel and REFUND my money. I have been a loyal customer of hotels.com. After this, I will think twice!

My room had no hot water, a dirty bathroom and visibly used sheets in addition to no heating (there was an AC however it did not turn on as the remote did not match the unit). I spent the night wearing 5 layers and shivering under the cover of the small grimy mattress. For $40 in India I feel robbed and so disappointed I wasted my money on a place like this.

But our experience was awful. Do not get fooled by the pictures. Probably the pictures were taken when the hotel was first built.
1. The door of our room could not be locked from inside and it was clearly broken open from outside through force since the wood around the lock was completely torn apart.
2. There was no water in the toilet (not even in sink and shower). When we asked about it, they said the water would be available soon, but it never came. We stayed there for overnight and could not use the toilet.
3. There was an intercom phone without any wire connected to it - so of no use.
4. We stayed at 4th floor, the wifi did not work. Wifi only worked at the reception, but there was no elevator, so we could not go to reception all the time. (Refer to point 3)
5. There was a switchboard towards the head of the bed which was completely hanging loose.
6. The room that we got was damp - walls were swollen and falling apart with damp.
7. Floor was dirty.
8. Bed sheet was stained with blood. Towels were unclean.
We were so worried about our safety (and if there was any hidden camera), we forgot to take picture. It is definitely not a 3 star hotel as shown in hotels.com.

I had to brush in another room and take shower in a third room where hot water was not available. So, had to waste a lot of time in the morning just running around from one floor to the next. I had to leave the place after first day eventhough i was supposed to stay there three nights. I have requested for refund from expedia from two nights.

The place is extremely horrible, dark, scary and dirty. I’m not a facy person I understand they are many places where accourding with the budget it can’t be perfectly tidy and clean. But this one is just not fair for anybody who pays some ammount of money and worst for foreignernes because with this experience can think that India is horrible when it is not. We loved India but this place left us a very bad after taste of a very small part of India. To be more specific I could explain what we faced:
1. Completely dirty sheets with the smell of feces.
2. Room full of mosquitos
3. All wet bathroom and disgusting
4. Bad Attitude of staff even though I apologize about my complaint.
5. Very moist and full of fungus walls.
6. Scary and horrible location.
The pictures don’t reflect the reality of the rooms and I do have videos to prove everything we wrote.
I only writing this to warn people about the conditions and take a better desition than us (big mistake).

The room is cosy, good toiletry, clean sheets. Good sleep quality. Please opt for a room slightly away from road to avoid sound. They serve breakfast from 7 in the morning.

- Sharma (2/5): Bad hotel - Picture looks great but reality of the room is horrible. Everything was extremely dirty and not well maintained. The wallpaper of the room we was staying in was ripping, the room was super dirty and they packed their glass and left it on the floor instead of the table provided. There was a lot of flies, mosquito and other bugs in the room . There was a disgusting smell in the room. The bathroom tiles were clean but the toilet bowl was dirty. The towel had a weird smell to it. The bed sheets had stains on. Overall, this was the WORST hotel that I have stayed at.

Das ist mit Abstand das schlechteste Hotel in dem ich jemals war. Es ist dreckig. Matratzen, Bezug, Handtuch, Boden etc. Am erschütterndsten ist die Banderole um die Toilette: Für Ihre Sicherheit desinfiziert. Dann macht man den Deckel auf und hat Urinspritzer auf Brille und Keramik.
Der Strom fiel 20x am Tag aus! Teilweise auch über eine Stunde. Entsprechend heiß wird es im Zimmer.
Das schlimmste aber war, dass ich ein Abendessen per Room Service bestellte und wenige Stunden später Symptome einer Lebensmittelvergiftung entwickelte. So heftig, dass ich meine Delhi Führung kaum antreten und nach 2 Stunden wieder abbrechen musste.
Ich warne vor diesem Hotel!
Da ich auch in Chandigarh in einem OYO wohnte und auch dort die Sauberkeit gravierende Mängel aufwiesen, kann ich die OYO Gruppe nach meinen Erfahrungen nicht empfehlen. Gebt lieber etwas mehr Geld aus!
