- Luca (6/5): - The room was always spotless, which we appreciated, but the mosquito problem was quite bothersome. The staff, with the exception of Sandra at the buffet, often seemed disengaged and unfriendly. The waiters at the Mexican restaurant and Olivia were particularly dismissive, which made us feel unwelcome. Though this didn’t spoil our vacation, a warmer attitude from staff would improve the experience. The food was underwhelming. The breakfast buffet felt repetitive, and lunch and dinner options there were even less appealing. The restaurants served average dishes, but the service was quick, which we appreciated. It was surprising that food couldn’t be ordered poolside—a first for us at any resort. Lunch at the grill seemed dry, and many guests didn’t finish their meals. The beachside spot offered only burgers, fries, and hot dogs, which were unappetizing. Facilities also fell short. The elevators were often dirty, making us hesitant to touch buttons. Roof leaks during rain created hazards. On a positive note, each room had a handy cubby for room service items. The second pool was quiet and relaxing, though only two pools are available for non-Serenity guests. A staff member cleaned sunglasses at the main pool, a lovely touch we wished extended to the quieter pool. The café’s offerings, especially the ice cream, were consistently enjoyable. Overall, while some amenities were nice, improvements in staff friendliness, food quality, and maintenance would enhance the stay.
- Dianna (10/5): - Everything was great the service guys up front were the most....the cleaning of room was great too...BUT BUT the restaurant Agua Bendita was a no ....the sit down was great the waiter was rushing us to order so we ordered asap...food came bad presentation...i asked for A1 sauce waiter never brought it my steak got cold asked another waiter for sauce and he brought ASAP...although A1 sauce didnt help. food and appetizers were horrible just horrible. The presentation is nothing like what it is online honestly think restaurant needs to be switched out to save the hotels reputation. Other than that everything was great from arrival to check in to check the ppl were just great!!!

I do feel they need to have some more options for lunch as all the restaurants open after 7 pm except for one and the buffet. There was also not much option when you are in the pool something which you can order or have pool side restaurant. Only the buffet was available where you have to walk up and get it. Loved the 24 hrs coffee shop and the bar. Staff was excellent and the room with swim out was great as well. More food options should be available thats all😊

At this time of year the beach was walkable but you could swim in the Gulf due to seaweed. We would definitely come back.
- Marcus Anton (10/5): - Everything was great from the pool area to the staff. We were part of the serenity club, which gave us access to all parts of the hotel. I didn’t know that till I got there, but that’s one of the perks of purchasing the swim out suites. There are tons of dining options and if you like shopping, there’s a shopping outlet. That’s really close to the hotel but it will require a taxi or some type of transportation to get you there the only thing that was unfortunate about the hotel, which was due to mother nature Was the seaweed issue due to the weather. It created a damp musty unpleasant odor outside, which included many mosquitoes and bugs flying around the hotel resort.
- Hailey (10/5): Wonderful stay! - This was our second time staying here and we upgraded to the king with a swim out. It was perfect. The bathroom was large and the bed was super comfortable. It did get hot at night so maybe bring a fan. Also mosquitoes are bad in October so bring bug spray

- Samantha (8/5): - Hotel was fabulous. Check in and check out were absolutely appalling. Standing in a queue for 40 mins in the heat to check in is not ok. Equally as poor check out. Absolutely everything else at the hotel was exceptional, such a shame the front desk is so bad.
- James (8/5): - The property surface level is nice but it needs a serious overhaul. For an all inclusive of this caliber and price there should not be any visible issues but there are many all over the property including inside the rooms. I don’t expect perfection but things I raise should be addressed not put off and brushed aside. For example the ice maker had an alarm that was beeping every second or two and was doing so for 4+ hours when I first checked in. The staff should have done something about this before I called. After I called it took hours for them to take action. This became a recurring issue for the majority of my week stay. For a luxury property asking luxury prices this should never be an issue. All of my neighbors had the same issue but were more embarrassed to raise it. Also the last two days they had a convention which essentially took over the entire property and make us and all the people we meet feel like we were no longer important and the convention people were the clear priority. For example we had to make reservations for our dinners which honestly isn’t a big deal just more of an annoyance for a relaxing trip. But we show up to our reservation and the nice couple In front of us were being told sorry your reservation is being cancelled and we cannot honor it which was due to the convention folks getting their spots and they are just out of luck. Then they told us the same story. The worst part was they never came to the reservation.

- Jessica (10/5): - A beautiful resort with amazing staff. My fiancé and I came here to celebrate our anniversary and had an amazing time. There were a lot of people our age (mid-to-late twenties) and just enough to do to keep us going. The smell in the area was a bit unpleasant, but not enough to warrant a lower score, given the staff's attentiveness and the resort's beauty. Make sure to bring bug spray, though! Lots of pesky mosquitoes.

The Katsu ( Asian) restaurant the food is exceptional but the servers and waitresses and waiters they are very rude, unprofessional! Never visiting the resort again.

We didn’t let staff know until we arrived, they went all out and put a sign on our door, every night left a special treat in our room and our swim out suite was the best. Despite not being at the main pool they still had staff always coming by and ensuring we had all our needs while in our private pool. We will be back next year!
- Cory (8/5): - The staff was very friendly and helpful and the resort was very clean. The only downside was there was not enough activities compared to other places we have stayed and walking around the resort was very slippery whenever it rained.

Staff were very accommodating to changing our rooms from the noisy building 4 to the definitely more quiet building 1, even with the construction going on next to that building. Food options were good but not fantastic. The hibachi grill was our favorite! The grounds were beautiful and well maintained.

The Pool Concierge Jose and Luis were the best part of the trip since they made my Birthday stay quite memorable. They were super kind and decorated my beach towels with BDay wishes and kind words written in sand. I loved that!!! My girlfriend and I felt safe throughout the week. We enjoyed our stay SO much, thanks to Jose and Luis but also the lobby bartender Mari. I hope to visit again!

- Stephanie Marie (8/5): - We really enjoyed our stay at Haven! The “junior suite with partial ocean view” was spacious and had an amazing balcony with views of the round/quiet pool and beach. The resort is only 10 minutes from the airport so definitely convenient but also surrounded by gorgeous tropical jungle. We loved listening to the birds and seeing a few native animals. Staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming, spa hydrotherapy was very nice, and drinks were great —our favorites were from Pedro at Doc’s Poolside Bar! We also enjoyed a cocktail class there with Pepe and his entertainment team which was a fun surprise. Two cons: 1) the beach was covered in sargassum (due to natural conditions) which made it unusable during our stay plus effected my puny lungs and 2) I would prefer more food options for breakfast/lunch other than their buffet. It was an excellent meal for a buffet but I just don’t enjoy that experience so often. If you upgrade to the serenity rooms, you have a sit down option but it’s substantially more cost. Overall, we decided it was a perfectly relaxing getaway for us and well worth the cost.
- Natalie (10/5): - Great place for a quiet, more adult atmosphere. There is a "party pool," but the clientele is still pretty subdued. This was our 2nd time at Haven, and we will return. Our butler, Adrian, was spot on. I mentioned that I was hot while getting dressed in the bathroom, and within hours, there was a stand fan placed in my room. I also mentioned that I was sad that the Myan Sushi was taken off the menu at Vista's, and they made it special for me the following day! Haven is large enough to offer several options for dining and activities, but small enough to still feel very quaint and relaxing. We stayed in the beachfront swim-out room. Met our needs perfectly. Enjoyed room service breakfast each morning while watching the sun rise, and were able to enjoy the sunshine on our own patio until noonish. A waiter came around at least once an hour to check on us and deliver drinks. I highly recommend Haven Riviera Cancun!

- David J (8/5): - The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout the resort. The food was very good for an all inclusive. The property was well maintained and clean. The pools were nice. Really the only not good part was that the seaweed was so pervasive and smelled very strong - we could not even use the beach and it created a smell throughout the resort. We were told it is seasonal, so maybe mid Sept, while we were there, it is at its worst.
- Maria (10/5): - MIGUEL our personal butler was the best part of our stay. LGBTQ friendly. He took care of us like we were family. We were able to text him through WhatsApp for everything we needed. We requested specific aromatherapy for room, he booked restaurants for us when we didn't have time, helped reserve car to Playa del Carmen, and Everytime he saw us he greeted us and chit chatted for a bit. We are returning just for his hospitality. We had a swim out room. Room was great. Only used private pool a few times because sun would fall behind building by noon. Drink service at the base of our private pool of room all day. Serenity club tier was worth it. Free Tahini restaurant and show booking. Private pool area and private lunchtime restaurant overlooking property and of course MIGUEL. Foam party at main pool was a blast. Restaurants were good depending on what you ordered. Asian restaurant was our favorite. Loteria was fun and burlesque show was great. Cultural Mexican show was amazing. Temazcal booking is 1000x worth it. Pool drinks were ok. Cocktail bar up top was better. Massages were excellent. See you in a month.

The entertainment staff in the evenings were pushing to get everyone the rate them 5 stars. The shows were mediocre, but they all did their best trying to make everyone's experience great.

- BRENDA (10/5): - My stay at Haven Riviera Cancún was truly exceptional. Thanks to Expedia, we received a complimentary upgrade from a partial ocean view to a full oceanfront room, which made the experience even better. Every staff member we encountered was warm and welcoming. The amenities were fantastic—especially the casino night, which was so much fun. The food was delicious, both at the buffet and the specialty restaurants. Our room was a solid 10/10: very clean, no humidity smell, and packed with thoughtful details like a Bluetooth speaker in the bathroom. The bed was extremely comfortable, and even the mini fridge and A/C were quiet (something I really appreciated). What I loved most was that the pools are open 24/7—unlike other resorts I’ve stayed at where they close at 8 PM. They have one lively pool for fun and another quieter one for total relaxation, which was perfect depending on my mood. Special thanks to Chef Ana, who went above and beyond. When I arrived late to the buffet and missed the pozole, she personally made sure I got a plate from another restaurant in the resort. That level of care made my stay unforgettable. The only downside was the sargassum on the beach, but that’s a natural occurrence and completely outside the resort’s control. Overall, I highly recommend Haven Riviera to anyone looking for comfort, amazing service, and a touch of luxury in Cancún. I can’t wait to return!

Beautiful views of the ocean and we love that there were several pools, some with the DJs and games and some more quiet. The restaurants were amazing, seemed like Michelin star quality work. Our only negative point is that we thought Tahani, which has dinner along with dancing, was going to be a display of cultural dancing but instead it was more like a nightclub.

Best part was that the drink service walked by several times during the day to make sure we were taken care of. We also enjoyed dinning in the restaurants, our favorite was Agua Bendita. Everything we ordered tasted so good! Theree were no real activities at Haven, so if thats what you are looking to enjoy in an AI resort, then maybe its not for you. For us, it was perfect. All we wanted to do was chill and relax. Mission accomplished!

- Sebastian A (10/5): - I loved my stay at the Haven Riviera Cancun. We booked a swim-up suite which was definitely worth the extra cost. I loved the main pool with the games, DJ, and bars. The club at night was a must!! The dining option were mostly good, I wouldn’t recommend the for lunch or dinner. However, the Mediterranean restaurant was delicious, the steak house was pretty good, and the Asian was good. The excursions they offered were great, I recommend booking with MTS on the resort, we booked 3 excursions in one package and spent less than we expected. The drinks were pretty okay considering most resort drinks aren’t great. The taxis are pretty costly to go literally anywhere off the resort. We had to pay an extra fee during check in that I wasn’t aware of before booking that is apparently a new mandate from the tourism department but it wasn’t too expensive. Ultimately, I loved my stay here and would stay here again.
