Guest Reviews
- Clive (9/5): Lovely place to stay - Very friendly. Great breakfast
- Derek (7/5): Everything in order and met expectations - Friendly staff. Check in easy. Tea/coffee in the room and excellent breakfast. Small room but clean and everything in order. Good central location an easy walk from the rail station and into the centre of the town Building looking a bit tired.
- Rob (8/5): -
- Carolyn Taylor (10/5): Lovely bed and breakfast with friendly and helpful staff - Lovely staff, very friendly and helpful.
Lovely breakfast and a great choice.
Would definitely recommend.
- David (9/5): -
- Mark (9/5): Friendly, comfy, well-located for the station. - Extremely friendly family-run place which is just right if you wasn't to escape the humdrum tedium of a chain. A very charming and period guest house with exceptionally kind and friendly staff. By their own admission the place might appear a tad dated for some, but I think this adds to its appeal.
- Michael (10/5): Comfortable, friendly stay - Super friendly staff, lovely room with a very comfortable bed. The breakfast was excellent. There was nothing I didn't like.
- SIMON (10/5): -
- Peter (5/5): -
- Shane (9/5): - Very clean and tidy, breakfast was lovely. Friendly staff. The shower area would benefit from modernising to make it a more enjoyable stay
- Peter (8/5): A Great Breakfast in a Friendly B and B - Friendly staff , a great full English breakfast .
Close to the station. Nothing
- Brian (10/5): Enjoyable, lovely people - Good Cornish fare breakfast.
Location suits me as visiting friends and family. The weather
- ward (8/5): A great stay, with a great host and breakfast - A lovely host, who provided a very nice and clean Cornish breakfast. The bedroom and bathroom was spotless, along with a comfy bed - providing a peaceful night sleep. A great location within a good proximity to pubs and restaurants, with additional free, off street parking.
- Michael (4/5): Very poor value for the money charged - The room was cramped with inadequate provision for hanging clothes No attention was given to make sure everything was in order on a daily basis
- Mysterysonguk (9/5): Helpful owner, great staff member who looked after us - Fantastic comfortable beds. Good room layout great breakfast and very friendly people Nothing
- Roheel (8/5): - Ted was friendly and a great host. The breakfast was good too Room facilities were okay. Not terrible but good to temper your expectations
- Philip (9/5): -
- Jenny Lou (9/5): -
- BeeDee (8/5): Very clean and comfortable with excellent breakfast, ordered the previous night from welcoming staff - Due to major train delay my evening arrival was much later than originally planned but I was warmly welcomed.
Also I was able to vacate my room later than check-out time and the friendly staff members were happy to chat and help with assistance into my taxi on departure with my luggage.
Very clean and comfortable bed in single room. Tea and coffe tray well stocked with top-ups available in reception area. Due to the size of the single room, it was difficult to fit the one surface area on chest of drawers for my personal items (clock, mobile 'phone, watch etc.) and tv remote control alongside bedside light and tea tray. I had to use the opened top drawer in the unit to keep such items within reach.
- Jonathan, Country Mu (10/5): A base for a short break in Cornwall - I checked in around 5pm. I met Tom, who showed me to my room. I had a single room with a shower, kettle with tea, coffee & biscuits.
My bed had a soft mattress and a duvet to keep me warm. I had a key to my room and to the property late evening and I went for an early morning walk.
I had a full Cornish cooked breakfast of cereals, tea, toast, egg, bacon, sausage, tomatoes and mushrooms.
I met Sue who ran the guest house with Tom. Everything was fine.
- Paterson (10/5): Awesome breakfast - Very friendly staff, nothing too much for them , nice clean comfortable, and a great breakfast π Nothing, I know it's bed and breakfast, but if they were to go half board it would make it even better
- Steve (8/5): -
- Barbara (9/5): Very pleasant. - Good breakfast, comfortable bed, clean, quiet location yet close to shops, private car parking. Host very helpful, exceeded expectations, making my stay comfortable & very pleasant. Nothing.
- Stephen (7/5): - Good breakfast, but not relaxed, due to be given time restraint. The bathroom.....ensuite? Sorry but it was a cubby hole. Very much 1970s style.
Room was adequate, a bit dusty in areas.
The whole house needs modernising, then would have good potential as a thriving business.
Also ...the literature which was sent via email after booking....containing Ts & Cs. was very off putting, Nearly cancelled.
- Domenico (10/5): -
- Kim (4/5): - Nothing really room configuration, door mechanism, "bathroom facilities", breakfast was unpleasnt
- Sandra (8/5): Great B&B, Would stay again - Clean, Great Location, Very Good Breakfast.

Anyone staying should remember itβs a bed and breakfast not a hotel π.
Clean well thought out room for the available space.
There was coffee and tea in the room and biscuits which was nice.
White Towels and sheets were spotless and smelled lovely .

- Brian (7/5): No complaints, I was well looked after in this well run guest house. - The breakfast was excellent as was the welcome and hospitality which for me is especially important if I am travelling alone. The single room was quite small but clean and the shower worked well. There were WIFI extenders around the guest house but it was patchy. 4G reception was ok so no real issue. This was also pointed out so no real complaints. I think If I was staying longer I might have chosen somewhere with a bigger room.
- Sue (9/5): Perfect located, friendly, clean & comfortable - Everyone was very friendly and helpful, perfect room and breakfast - all catered for very well Nothing

- Simon (9/5): A very enjoyable week at the guest house which well provided for my needs. - Friendly, helpful staff. Good information, both from info pack provided in room and staff themselves. Good breakfast. Wifi connection was patchy at times but couldn't be helped considering the age of the building ( thick walls etc ). Very good public transport links. I could see how parking would be an issue at times, although I did strike lucky during my particular week. This not only involved the amount of spaces, but the actual size of the bays when it came to opening doors for unloading etc.
- Steve (10/5): Wonderful reception on arrival, great knowledgeable conversation's about the surrounding area. - Breakfast was amazing, everything you could ever want, catered for our requirements. Nothing we didnβt like at all.

- Tiago (8/5): Very good -
- James (10/5): Exceptional -
- F (10/5): Excellent Overnight B&B - The Elnor B&B was just what I needed. I was booking last minute for a work trip, ideally in Looe but there was nothing available for a decent price. I found the Elnor B&B in Liskeard and it was a lovely stay. As soon as I checked in, I was greeted by lovely staff who were happy to give me dinner recommendations in the area.
The room was comfy, cosy, clean and cool, I have no complains about it at all. The cooked breakfast was perfect - hot, hearty, wonderfully cooked, and the atmosphere was warm and friendly. I ended chatting to the staff until it was time to check out. N/A
